Prima Una de Gato - Cat's Claw for Chronic Illnesses
Fourteen of the participants were left as controls, following their regular regime. Of the 14 that were treated, one had to drop out due to an ovarian tumor. Participants were asked to rate their symptoms at the start and at the end of the study on a sliding scale of 1-10, according to published conventional medicine standards. All 13 remaining got better with an average improvement of 70 percent. Cowden added that those who stopped therapy at the end of the study did worsen, but didn't go back to the debilitating baseline. The worst relapse was still 35 percent better than at the start.

Cat's Claw TOA=Free for Lyme Disease 17 y
Some months back, because my patients were benefiting from taking capsules or drops of this cat's claw chemotype, brand-named TOA-Free Cats Claw, Samento, I started to take it too. Such a particular chemotype of cat's claw is devoid of those chemical antagonists called Tetracyclic Oxindole Alkaloids [TOAs] which act adversely upon the human central nervous system. Absent TOAs in this commercial therapeutic agent predisposed me to using that certain brand of the herb and good things have happened for me," Dr. Wright assures us. "By self-administering Samento, the Borrelia organisms are gone from my body, and this has now eliminated my neuropathy symptoms, discontinued my mood swings, and generally recovered my normal functions. If I forget to drink drops of the herb in purified water, I feel unpleasant differences in well-being within a few days.

An 8-month pilot study was recently conducted with 28 patients suffering from ADVANCE CHRONIC LYME BORRELIOSIS. All the patients tested positive for LYME BORRELIOSIS utilizing the Western Blot blood test for Borrelia burgdorferi, the bacteria that causes LYME DISEASE. The control group was treated with antibiotics and at the end of the study, from 14 patients in the group, 3 improved slightly, 3 got worse and the rest remained with no change in their clinical condition. That may sound too good to be true. One of my patients thought so – until she tried it.
Eve had tried all the pills. She found it increasingly difficult to cope with the pain and resulting tiredness.
She was taking more and more time off work and was often late, because her worst bouts of diarrhea would strike first thing in the morning. She said she felt washed out every day. Her excuses for taking the odd days off work with this cursed ailment were getting weaker and weaker. Her c ... read more
Curing Lyme Disease: Samento
Many patients with LD have concomitant infections with other parasites (Ehrlichia in white blood cells and Babesia in red blood cells) Some patients have all 3 parasites. Each requires a different therapy with Babesia being particularly difficult to eradicate. Recently, Artemisinin appears effective in Babesia infections. All co-infections must be eliminated .to obtain a successful result.
CURING LYME DISEASE WITH SAMENTO
By Dr. James Howenstine, MD.
April 17, 2005
Lyme Disease was initially regarded as an uncommon illness caused by the spirochete Borrelia burgdorferi (Bb). The disease transmission was thought to be solely by the bite from a tick infected with this spirochete. The Bb spirochete is able to burrow into tendons, muscle cells, ligaments, and directly into organs. A classic bulls-eye rash is often visible in the early stage of the illness. Later in the illness the disease can afflict the heart, nervous system, joints and other organs. ... read more

Samento for Lyme Disease- Borrelia burgdorferi infection 17 y
Taking into account all the above, in can be assumed that continuous use of Samento over a period of time consistent with the life-span of several generations of various infected cells (8-12 months), would more likely result in gradual killing and eliminating of Borrelia and co-existing infectious pathogens, with subsequent reduction of infectious load in the body and restoration of the person’s health.
May Eliminate the Pathogen
The latest research on Borrelia burgdorferi (Bb) shows that it exists in at least three different forms: the spirochete, the spheroplast (also known as L-form), and the cyst form. During the course of infection, Bb can shift among these three forms, converting from the spirochete form to the others when presented
with an unfavorable environment (antibiotics, changes in pH of body fluids in chronic inflammation, etc.), and reverting back to the spirochete form to grow and reproduce upon being released from naturally aging and dying infected cell ... read more
