The end of my fast
This will be my last entry in this blog.
I did not complete my 3-day water fast. I am afraid I only managed one day and the next day I went out to eat with friends and I didn’t want to be a social outcast. On the bright side, I have only been eating vegetables since Sunday and today I am at 152 pounds. My goal weight was 145 pounds. I will continue eating healthy until I reach that goal, but I think my fasting days are over.

1st day of my second water fast. Total 3-day WF.
I have just given you an update on my weight loss and my first water fast in my last entry.
Today is the very first day of my second water fast. This will be a 3-day water fast only. I have come to the conclusion that it is simply too difficult and ambitious to do a longer water fast for myself, and I would be just setting up myself for failure again if I try it.
In order to prepare for this water fast, I did a semi master cleanse to ease into it. I basically had one meal a day and 2 MC drinks. My meal of the day was mostly vegetables.

This is an update of my first water fast in January 2018.
Hello Everyone! I know it’s been a while since I updated my blog, which is usually not a good sign. Sure enough, I had many failed attempts at my water fast since I had given it my first shot at the beginning of January 2018.
Here is a summary of what happened:
1. Discontinued water fast after first day yet again when I last blogged about it. Oops!

WF Day 1 Recap
I started my water fast today at noon. It’s been 7 hours since I started it. When I started this blog, I intended to document only my weightloss progress and not focus on my emotions or any other physical or mental aspects of the fast. However, I feel like it would be beneficial to my progress and also useful information to share with other fasters to also discuss these.

Water Fast Day 1
I delayed my water fast start day (again). I was supposed to start it on January 1st, 2018, but I was too stressed and not in the right frame of mind to start it then.
I started my Water Fast today at noon. I don’t like to start fasts at the start of the day because I find it too challenging.
My starting weight went up a little to 167.8 pounds but I am not too fussed about it. The main thing is that I am finally starting my water fast and I will see the real weightloss progress now. visit the page

I had initially planned to do a 10-day master cleanse, take a short 3-day break over the Christmas weekend and then start a water fast right after the holidays.
My plan has been altered!
I had only completed a 7-day Master Cleanse between Dec 13, 2017 until Dec 19, 2017. From Dec 20th, 2017 until the end of the month (and the year) I ate normally and tried to maintain the weight I lost during the MC. I had ended the MC at a weight of 165 pounds (a total weight loss of 7 pounds in 7 days). The exception was of course Christmas Day when I did indulge, but not overly.

Day 7 Master Cleanse: December 19th, 2017
Morning weight: 166.4 pounds
Evening Weight: 166.2 pounds
Today I drank 4 glasses of the lemonade mix and I had 2 cups of laxative teas (I may have a third later).
Yesterday I wrote that I would do a 10-day MC to start, but I am debating whether I should call it quits now. I am very very hungry right now. I should mention I am doing this MC on my period and I have pretty big cravings normally that time of month. I may have a snack later just to calm me and then keep going.

My fasting plan moving forward 10 mon
Today is my 6th day of my first round of the Master Cleanse.
My fasting will be a bit disrupted because Christmas falls within it - and I had to schedule a 3-day break to accommodate my Christmas meal, without jeopardizing my weight loss.
Here is my fasting plan:
1) Complete a 10-day Master Cleanse (Dec 13th-Dec 22)
2) On December 23rd and 24th, break from the Master Cleanse by consuming only 500 calories. December 25th is Christmas and I plan to have a Christmas meal, but it can’t pass a normal daily intake of 2000 calories.

Drank only 2 glasses of the MC lemonade drink mix. I cheated today and had one small cookie (200 cals) and 2 cups of watermelon (100 cals) - and I had coffee with a bit of cream. I surprisingly don’t feel that guilty about cheating. My goal was to do this for weight loss not cleansing. I felt like if I didn’t had a small bite to eat I would just crack and binge at some point , which is what I had done in past failed attempts when I fasted. Firstly, I should mention I had attempted to do a Master Cleanse back in August 2017, but I had unfortunately quit after a couple of days. I had started a blog and CureZone won’t let me delete it. I am confident that this time my fasting attempts will be more successful.
I would like to mention that I am doing fasting strictly for weight loss and that is my ultimate goal.
