fasting, water, cleansing
5th day - My sore throat has returned and the pain in my back and hips is pretty intense and I did a lot more reading and one faster compared it to child labor (in the back and without abdominal contractions). It describes perfectly what I’m feeling. I have had four children so maybe it pulls from previous experiences in the body or who knows. I do think it’s fast related now. My energy and mental clarity remain high. If anything, I feel sleepy at some points throughout the day but in between I don’t feel sluggish. I’m more productive and focused. fasting first days
I decided to join and start a blog just so I can have a record of the things I’ve experienced in this water fast as well as contribute to experiences for others to read as they go through or consider doing a fast. I am doing this for overall physical and mental health.
I have been experimenting with fasting on and off for some years. Mostly 2 days at a time but sometimes 3 which doesn’t sound like much compared to people who do 10 days or longer.
