End of Day 4
 
At around 4 pm today I felt really thirsty and I had just run out of water. My girlfriend had some watermelon milk tea which I was unable to resist drinking. Then I felt bad and decided to pick the fast up again at midnight. We then had an early dinner of fried chicken, spaghetti and meatballs and a pizza. I came home, had a taste of the Pringles I was craving yesterday and was disappointed that it didn’t taste as good as it had seemed it would be while I was fasting. End of day 3 of the fast
 
Survived the third day of fasting although I almost gave in to a can of Pringles and some seemingly delicious breaded chicken and gravy. The smells are the worst as you can imagine how the food’ll taste, then you just start drooling. Felt a bit down today after realizing that I was trying to bargain with myself and nearly gave up fasting again just to have food even if I didn’t feel hungry at all. This is a tough habit to break. End of day 2 of water fasting
 
It is the end of the second day of the fast and I have lost another kilo. I was able to function normally throughout the day. I studied for and took an exam and felt fully capable. I haven’t experienced anything out of the ordinary in the way of headaches, hunger pangs or weakness. I felt pretty much normal, just like any day except for the abstinence from food. End of Water Fasting Day 1
 
I am currently fasting from all food and liquids except water. I’ve gone through a few short fasts in the past 2 months, never fasting longer than 4 days. I’ve lost and regained weight, arriving right back where I started. This time, I’m hoping to sustain the fast for at least 14 days and will subsist mainly on juice, fruits and vegetables the first two months immediately after refeeding. I also plan to take up running after the fast. I am a 22 year old female and I started the fast weighing 80 kilos. By the end of the first day, I had lost 1 kilo. Today went by smoothly.
