Day 5 Water Fast
I am feeling kind of weak today and I slept for about 12 hours!! I think I might go for a run today when it gets a bit cooler. I still have energy, but I am just sleepy all the time. Last night I went out with friends and they wanted to eat. It was a bit awkward so I thought, well I’ll get like something raw. So I got a small raw sushi plate but found that I could not eat it at all. It turned my stomach! So I stuck to water and told my friends I wasnt feeling well. day 4 of water fast
Well, I went out to the show and did not order popcorn!! I had water in a bottle (the bottle part was my treat)!! haha I felt fine today, but had some kind of down moments from out of the blue. But they are gone now again. I feel fine, but did not run today. I will see how I feel tomorrow.

I feel better and have noticed that I am really not hungry at all. I am thirsty though. The popcorn smell tonight actually turned my stomach! hmmm

20 day fast That has now become 18 days due to business travel
Well today is day three and I feel pretty good. The weakness I felt yesterday is gone. I actually went for a run last night for 3.5 miles and again this morning. It felt great. I’ve decided to listen to my body and If i feel hyper I still will exercise while fasting.
Todays weight is 258

Total loss 7 pounds
I was kind of shocked at that significant weight loss but I do know a lot is water. I feel positive about this choice to fast. However I now have to travel soon so I will be ending the fast on day 18 so that I have three days to come out of it before I go. Then ... read more

My 20 day account of my water fast
I have begun a water fast and I plan to continue for 20 days. I am doing this fast because I have lost weight but have been on a plateau where my weight has stayed the same for about a month now. I have been jogging 3.5 miles 5 days a week and eating healthy but still I stay at 265 pounds. So this water fast hopefully will shock my system into letting some of that weight go. Then I hope to have a new relationship with food. To date I have lost 50 pounds and am proud of myself but I want to continue to lose. Today is day 2 of not eating.
