Day 1... 3rd times a charm!! 13 y
Day 1 water fast. Journal entry.
Well, it’s day 1 again. I have to say it is almost funny as to why I am doing this for a 3rd time. Being female (all of my life, ha ha)- I should know when my monthly cycle is going to be. Apparently, I was soo into starting this fast that I was ignoring my personal timing and was getting frustrated as to why my will power/need to eat was overtaking me. As all you women know- the desire for certain foods can be pretty fierce at certain times of the month.

Day 1 water fast journal
I am starting new again. Yesterday, due to some unusual circumstances, I had some food. Not a lot of food, but, food none the less. I am a believer that a true Water Fast is one without food completely.
So, today is day 1 again for me and I will take each day as it comes. I have set my goal as a 30 day just because I would really like to clean out my system and felt that I needed somewhat of a long term goal to get dedicated. But, I will approach each day as it’s own and post here to journal that. However many days I actually achieve- I will consider a success.

Water Fast/Juice Fast
Today is day 1 of my 10-14 day Water Fast. I intend to follow this up with the remaining of the 30 day period with a Juice Fast and then transition to a healthy, primarily raw fruits and vegetables lifestyle.
I am a pretty fit and healthy person. I did a 21 day juice/raw cleanse 6 months ago, followed by numerous 1-3 day water fasts since then.
I am doing this fast to: cleanse, detox, kick the food/caffeine addictions and kick start my weight loss.
I will check in daily to hold myself accountable and hopefully help/inspire others.
