First Day on Provigil 18 y
Nothing like the first day of the rest of your life...
I took my first 200 mg of Provigil this morning. Let’s see... I’ll say about 30 minutes later I was nauseous for the next 3 hours. Dry mouth, difficulty concentrating, total loss of appetite. I didn’t have anything but water until 4 pm or so. The intersting part is that I had a lot of trouble sleeping last night, so normally I would be falling asleep everywhere, but lo and behold, no sleepy for me. I felt it, but it didn’t happen! exactly what it sounds like...
Today I announced I have Narcolepsy and now I’m being treated like I have small pox, lol. I also had my first cup of coffee in almost a month and I have been on the toilet all day as well. What a combination. It just so happens that when you are diagnosed with a disorder like this you aren’t allowed to drive until you have had progress with the medication- provigil (gen. modafinil). I have no idea how I’m supposed to get around without driving. I’ve had symptoms for 5 years and now they take away my driving privileges. visit the page Today 18 y

I’ll begin by saying that i’ve recently embarked on a new chapter of health. I was recently diagnosed as having narcolepsy. Scary and relieving are probably the two most accurate words to describe how I feel. I will probab;y be changing careers soon because of this. visit the page |
