water fast ?
Day 12!!! Yay the weekend is here again. I will be out of town this weekend so I won’t be able to post till I get back. I’m still at the same weight. But I guess that is ok. Though I might try a water fast since I haven’t lost any more pounds in 2 days. This weekend should be successful as I am going to my aunts, and it is a very healthy environment. still going strong
Well today is the start of day 10. I can’t believe the scales show 13 lbs gone so far. It just seems like it can’t be right. This for sure is motivation for me. Wednesdays are always hard as I work 8:30-5:30pm, and have class from 6pm-10pm. Yesterday I had juices, carrot, 6 cherries, banana and a little avocado, and some nuts. Well yesterday was officially one week. It was a good start to the week. I had only fruit juices yesterday and ate one carrot, avocado, half a banana and some pistachios. I went to a friends which was very motivating as she is going to start juicing too. I can’t believe I’m down 11.5lbs in a week. This is for sure enough motivation to keep me going. In the beginning 30 days sounded so hard, but now I think it’s do-able. I hope. This weekend and next week will be hard as I have a few parties to go to, so there will be lots of temptation. End of the weekend
Well the weekend is about at its end. It was really a nice and relaxing one. Today I woke up had some juice I made from cucumber, parsley, spinach, apple and carrots. I do not like the veggie juice nearly as much as the fruit. But I know I need it. I ate today 1 carrot with ¼ cup avocado/tomato mix, ½ banana and a handful of pistachios. Yay its the weekend.
Well it’s finally the weekend. I am so excited. The first weekend in a long time that I am not out of town. I got about 9 hours of sleep which was just wonderful. I plan on going to buy more fruit & veggies, as they go really fast! I’m excited to have more time to try new combination of drinks. I think today will be a relaxing day at home taking care of cleaning, and some homework. I am very excited I’m down another 2lbs since Thursday. I would love to be down another pound by Sunday, making it a 10lb loss for the week. That would be just what I need to keep up the motivation. ...   read more

end of the week
Thankfully it was a Friday. The end of a long long week. I juiced and had a handful of pistachios, ¼ cup of smashed avocado w/1 carrot, and 1 banana. It was a very long day as I worked till 4:30pm. Went to see the movie The Waitress after. (which was kinda hard watching her bake all these yummy looking pies!!!!) And then went to a friend’s house till 2am. When driving home from my friends it brought up the same feelings of that past, and that would be stopping to get some fast food on the way home. out of it
Well it is almost 1am and I just finished a online test for school. Today was busy. Wake up at 6ish, work, go to a friends volleyball game, then homework/test. I juiced all day and ate one banana, carrots w/ 1/4 cup mashed avacado w/tomatoe’s and a handful of nuts again. And a few tbsp of ground flaxseed. I felt pretty weak and out of it today. Wondering why I am feeling that way. I figured if I’m eating nuts for protien, avacado for a good fat, and ground flaxseed for fiber, i should be good right? Day 4 and I just woke up. Going to do my exercise & juicing. I did a weight in to find I’m down 4lb. I keep thinking this must just be water weight but I still like the scales going down. Well it’s the end of the day and I am wiped out. I got up at 6am this morning did my new “8 minute Workout” from this book I also then did 10 minutes on the treadmill. Got ready for work and then juiced. I did end up “eating” today. I had at 9am 2 carrots dipped in a ¼ cup mix of mashed avocado and diced tomatoes, at 1pm I ate 1/3 of a plain baked potato and at 3pm a handful of pistachios. Today was challenging. It is hard at work when people are always talking about food and ordering out for lunch. I came home at lunch and made some juice. I did end up eating a hand full of sunflower seeds and 5 pistachios’s making sure to chew till they were liquid. Also I ate 1 carrot and a bite of avocado. I hope this doesn’t hinder the effects of juicing. I just think that with working full time, going to school at night and trying to exercise the juice won’t be enough to sustain all that. I decided to start this whole journey off by fasting for a day. So I have not eaten since Sunday at about 7pm. I figured this might be a good way to start this whole process. I have to admit I am anxious for the morning when I will start the day by juicing. I’m not sure how often to way in, but I figure I will try every few days. The night before juice diet.
I have been doing research on juicing for the past few weeks. This is something that I have been interested in on and off in my life. To start my story I have struggled over the years with my weight and emotional eating. This has more so affected me within the last 2 years when I have gained a good amount of weight. I am sick and tired of it and know I need to change this. Not only for my physical health but mental.
