Blog Description

I want to share how I overcame being prone to anger, this is about an observation relaxation exercise I learned from the Foundation of Human Understanding.

and the simple instructions in the relaxation observation exercise, I received so much inner peace, real joy, happiness, original ideas, emotional love, forgiveness for others and I felt it for me too. One morning between four and five a.m. this is an experience I had that changed my life forever. When I was using the observation relaxation exercise taught by FHU, I suddenly realized that others were like me and did not plan and did not know the emotional effect on other people when they were rude or thoughtless. That very early one morning for about an hour and a half
I cried because it was such an enlightening and uplifting and humbling and peaceful and life-changing experience. When that happened then all my bad feelings were gone, all filled with feelings of love and forgiveness and realization of truth.
I instantly forgave everyone, and did not have anger when I tried to judge others, due to realizing only God can know the thoughts and intentions and feelings of others well enough to judge anyone with any anger. I still have all the other emotions, including some negative ones like fear, but rarely ever get angry with others anymore. I get upset mostly when I think I see influence of evil over agencies or individuals who do not fully know what they are doing, but it is not the same as I used to be.

This conscience awarenes exercise made me see so plain and realize that I could not logically judge others without knowing what others are thinking, their thoughts and their feelings and their intentions. As soon as I realized that and that I had unintentionally emotionally hurt others in the past a few times, all without knowing it or planning it, then I saw how when others hurt me they did not realize what they were doing. I then instantly forgave everyone for anything they ever did that upset me in any way. Two persons who had threatened and physically and emotionally abused me. This change in my personality happened in 1989 and most of the abuses occured in the early 1980's. I still am able to use the negative things in my life for opportunity to do things to help others and myself that I might not have accomplished if I did not have the negative turned into positive motivation to strengthen myself and my family members and to help others, even perfect strangers.
