Aajonus Vonderplanitz who devised The Primal Diet and who highly recommends raw milk, raw cream raw butter, raw eggs, raw cheese and raw meat (the last is not an issue here).

For backaches, he says that they often happen in conjunction with emotional exhaustion. '... plenty of raw milk, a little good mineral water and, when available, plenty of raw cream help relax the spine."

He says that the common headache is from either high blood pressure (most often caused by eating salt), or low blood circulation, or toxic blood stream. For HBP, mix 2 oz of naturally sparkling water with 2 TBS of UNHEATED honey and the juice of 1 lemon. Add 6 ounces more of naturally sparkling water and drink. Usually, that relieves this headache in 20 - 40 minutes. For the LBP headaches, do the ssame, but leave out the lemon juice.

His books are really interesting. I have tried the dairy with no ill effects whereas pasteurized milk creates mucous for me.

For other headaches, he suggests that foods like caffeine (including aspirin, coffee, chocolate and sodas), alcohol, processed sugars, cheddar and jack cheeses, salt and anything made with baking soda could be the culprits.

If you are eating any of these foods, just drinking a couple of glasses of water before you go to bed may ease things; it does if I have too much sugar in an evening; the water makes a big difference to my next morning!
