          Hey There,

Glad to hear you have been inspired from my journey. It has been an incredible experience so far and as of yesterday I am halfway there!!!

As to your questions I can only speak from my own experience (and this is my first time) but here is what I would say....

          1) There are a number of good things about posting your progress in a blog.

          A) It keeps you accountable (to yourself).
          B) You can track your progress and symptoms and get help (here at curezone) from other fasters who have gone before.
          C) You will find that you have more time during the day and your thoughts are often clearer on the fast. What better time to capture your thoughts in words??

          2) I went to massage therapy school in Boulder CO so I know how demanding the work can be. How many sessions are you doing per day?? Normally, I would say that you can do just about any workload just fine on the juice-fast but MT requires heavy muscle output (even if you are using correct technique) and you aren't taking in much protein on the fast which may lead to muscle loss. I would say that you should be fine but just be attuned to your body (and if you are a massage therapist that is a given, right?? ;). If it's telling you to stop then transition back into eating and make sure you get good lean protein in the diet.

          3) I feel the pre-fast is paramount to having a good fast. Why? When you do the pre-fast you go through some of the initial purging cleansing reactions and hunger which makes the transition into juice-only that much easier (at least thats how I felt about it).

I hope you do decide to try the juice-fast. I think just about everyone can benefit from it!!! Please stay in touch and I'd be more than happy to offer any advice and encouragement you need.
