I was thinking that, before you said it...As a mother, I raised my son, and his Dad lived in another city...He got the fun times, the adventures and the holidays, while my son't life with me was all about the day to day...
we had a much different life.
I empathise with your mother being thought of as the bad guy. And working so hard. Fortunately, I did spend a lot of time with my son, but it meant far less money, less treats, though the time we had was *all* very creative.
