I know that it can be pretty scary stuff...  I've been there myself.    Here's how I overcame my fears and doubts.

1. Have Hope. 
2. Maintaining Hope develops Courage and Faith. 
3. Having Courage and Faith creates Belief. 
4. Belief grows into Knowing. 
5. Knowledge of the Truth is Enlightening and Joyful
6. Speak the Truth
7. The Word is thus made Manifest
8. On Earth as it is in Heaven

And along your journey, remember to stop and smell all the flowers, and laugh more often.  If anything laugh at the drama that is life.  And remember to watch your thoughts always.  Your thoughts are your prayers!

One thing you should know about prophecies is that they are all mutable.  Prophecies are the fulfillment of energies sent forth by the collective masses.  Once intentions are released into the universe, the universe responds by creating the synchronicities to manifest those intentions.  Hence, the prophecies.

In the book, "Love without End: Jesus Speaks", Jesus explains the nature of prophecies much more eloquently than my paragraph above.  It's a great read and I highly recommend it.  One hope he offers about doomsday prophecies is that if you change your heart, you can change the present moment, thus, you can change the future. 

IOW, we're not locked into a doomsday prophetic vision.  That would be a negation of Free Will and the absolute power of the Spirit.

I have a very spiritual friend whose father is in the inner circle of the Hopis.  We talk about all of the stuff you mentioned and more...   much much more.

For Christmas, he gave me a shirt that says,

"Don't Worry, Be Hopi!"
