Yes dear Lady, there was a flood in our basement area some months a go, and I plan  to make some repairs to the picture...   I also have a 2 ft model of the CSS Alabama, which I should get completed and then photograph and post ....   

If you ever get out to SD Calif; go down to the water front museum, and there is a close sister ship size and displacement, built in 1863 in England {same place and year}... Of course it does not have the armourments...  But you can get the feeling of the ship.....     If I had the funds, had thought about building an exact replica of the CSS Alabama,  down in Mobile and having it open for day trips, and demonstrations....      See ya...
