Obstacles to Getting Started:
Many Christians who ignore Christ's command to receive the Holy Spirit with the various gifts, {which is given for the profit of all} tend to not even know that they exist!
Gifts of the Spirit:
1) The Word of Wisdom
2) The Word of Knowledge
3) Faith
4) The gift of Healing
5) The working of Miracles
6) Prophecy
7) Discerning of Spirits
8) Different kinds of Tongues
9) The interpretation of Tongues
10) Helps
Many of the people who know some of the gifts, usually have to experience some crisis or emergency before acting through them!
Yet it is good that God uses crisis to help remind us of Him in our life! When seeking God's Will in your life, one of the hardest places to begin learning about the use of the gifts of the Spirit; is with those who are close to you! Because people tend to find familiarity is the culprit when we try to minister to those whom we know well..
Actually repentance, not introspection and self-condemnation, is an excellent place to start in expanding your Kingdom experience! This will expand your confidence before the Lord as you seek for a breakthrough in any area in your life!
When we pursue healing as the responsibility of every believer, we will come to realize great breakthroughs as we seek to actually serve those placed upon our pathway of Life!!
This will create a momentum in the Spirit and thus increases our understanding of how God works in miracle realm... This will give us greater confidence when we start dealing with those closest to us; who really need a miracle...
Disappointment is inevitable for everyone pursuing this miracle lifestyle! It is also is one of the greatest stumbling blocks for those who want to have the ministry of Christ restored to the Christian Church today!
** In a recent study of many atheist and existentialists, it was noted that nearly everyone of them had believed for a miracle of a dying family member or friend, who did not receive it!
Their way to cope was to form a belief system that got rid of a " God who is personal, powerful and always at hand!" as part of their life's equation! This has been noted that even with some pastors, who operate as if in a shell, are becoming "practical atheists" , with a basic belief in God; but - without the real miracle working God at the center of their life!
This is where many lies and much of the false misleading church doctrine comes from! Where God;s word and power have been supplemented by man's views and false reason!

That's exactly the opposite of what Jesus taught.
Luke 17:21 "...for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you." -
Red letter words of Jesus.

You are actually right and but not fully informed!
You have not read far enough in the Scriptures....
The Christian experience is actually about coming to share a personal relationship...
Therefore once you through Faith and belief, come to have the Holy Spirit in your heart; then you will have a relationship as said in :
Luke 17:21
"...for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you."
So you see it is all the same event!
We can cover this in more detail when ever you wish!
