(L to R) JOANN ARMENTA, of PURPOSE FOCUSED,
the non-profit umbrella behind LIVE H20, RUBEN SAUFKIE Sr,
of the Hopi Water Clan, and NADIA SOMMER, coordinator of H20 LIVE Long Beach, brought a flask of combined blessed waters to the ocean as part of the Opening Ceremony, June 19, 2009, that took place at LIVE H20's Belmont Shores Long Beach, Calif venue.

The Hopi ceremonialist, RUBEN SAUFKIE Sr, traveled to Long Beach
to lead the opening ceremony, and then returned hours later to participate in
two days of ceremonial dances in Hopiland. During the opening ceremony, Saufkie, asked the group to join him in prayer for rain for Hopiland.

It rained less than 24 hours later, in places from Long Beach to San Diego.
Saufkie, in a phone conversation, two days later, reported that rain fell in Second Mesa, Arizona, his home, during the first day of ceremonies calling forth the rain. More than 189 Kachinas, dancing for rain, experienced the rain falling for more than six hours. Saufkie, who travels widely doing
ceremony work, said that it was many years since rain fell during a rain dance ceremony in Hopiland. His people were very grateful. More than 1000 Hopis live near Second Mesa. They are dependent
on rain for the success of their plants that were recently planted.

In the forefront of the photo above is a locally grown, organic beet
growing in a pot that was also included in the opening ceremony.
Named KEEP The BEET Media Star, the World's First Talking Beet Plant,
the beet growing projects aims is to give each person confidence that
they can grow their own food. KEEP The BEET represents an international
project called BEET KEEPERS, RETURN. For more about that project
go to BEET KEEPERS OF THE WORLD UNITE.

Leslie Goldman, AKA Your Enchanted Gardener, who brought the beet plant, was one of more than fifty participants in the opening ceremony
for Live H20. The opening ceremony lasted more than two hours.
Included were prayers and songs from Saufkie and spontaneous creative sharings from many of the participants who were
all invited to freely participate as well as add personal sacred objects
to the altar, created on an african tapistry placed in the center of
a circle of people sitting and standing.

Goldman invited the many volunteers who co-created the LIVE H20 Long Beach event to each water KEEP The BEET from a blue water can that contained unprocessed dissolved humate, a mineral rich soil, estimated at more than 65 million years old.

Soon following the opening ceremony, Saufkie left to join
more than 189 Kachina dancers who were involved
in two days of deep ceremony on Second Mesa, Az
where more than 1000 Hopi's live.

According to Saufkie, the last rain came
about a month ago, but seldom has there
been rain during the actual dances
that occur each year around this time of year.
Rain fell for more than six hours.
He said, the Hopi were very happy.

Saufkie who led the opening ceremony
at LIVE H20 asked the participants in the opening ceremony
to pray with him for rain.

    SEND SACRED WATER NOTE
THAT WENT OUT BEFORE THE EVENT:

As a symbol of Unity, we are asking the public to mail us small containers of sacred and blessed water from locations and religions all over the world. Please identify the location/religion the water represents. This water will be “united” in a crystal bowl and participants at the event will infuse the water with love and gratitude. At the conclusion of this ceremony, water will be returned to the Earth by pouring part of it into the ocean, some of it on the sand, part will be vaporized into the air and some will be frozen and asked to be taken to the North and South Poles to hold and share the Love vibration of our planet.

JOE RODRIGUEZ, Jr, San Diego local organic farmer, Sunday morning
June 21, 2009. Hillcrest Farmers' Market, San Diego. Joe is one of three
beet growers for KEEP The BEET. The project was inspired by Joe Rodriguez
who said that a moment of awakening was needed for local farming to
survive. Water restrictions now prevent Joe from planting a large portion
of the farm. Every unit of food grown now asks to be sold. Much food
goes unsold at the end of each Hillcrest Farmers' Market, one of the
most popular farmers' markets in Southern California.

ANNE, appreciates the presence of locally grown
organic food brought to the Sunday Closing by
    Leslie Goldman, Your Enchanted Gardener.
She made a gift of sea shells and was a great help
with prepping to announce the rain water,
a part of the closing ceremony.

In drought starved So Cal, where water
restrictions are now limiting the amount of
food that local organic farmers can grow,
maybe we all need to be praying more
for rain, said Goldman. We also need
to sign petitions to allocate more water
    that local food growers
might have what they need to feed our
    local population. Growing food here
is an issue of Earth-based homeland
    security, said Goldman, known on
the internet as Your Enchanted Gardener.

    WHAT IS THE CONNECTION
    BETWEEN Being a BEET KEEPER
AND BRINGING HEALING TO OUR WATERS?
    http://curezone.com/blogs/fm.asp?i=1442860

We are 70% or more water.
We have lost the beat of life.
Many of us are out to beat the system.
It is for us to remember that Nature's Original Technology
    is supreme on this earth.
The Earth responds to our intentions
I teach that the Earth and the Soul are Soilmates.
When we pray from this deep part of us
that is connected to the earth, rain can come.
    We can cleanse the waters.

    KEEP The BEET Media Star,
The World's First Talking Beet Plant,
is here to remind us that through growing
a single beet in a pot, we can re-establish our
connection with this lost beat of life.

Many of us on the earth today, treat
the oceans as a large toilet bowl.
A mere 5% of the plastics we use,
are recycled. An extraordinary part of what we
use ends up in the ocean. Many of us
are not conscious of what happens to the plastics
we use, or for that matter why the ocean is in
    such a need for healing.

    NEWS RELEASE

Water Woodstock for Peace, Health & Sustainability

May 18, 2009 Laguna Beach, CA— If the whole world is a stage, then this summer “LIVEH2O” will offer a global performance. It is being called a “high tech Woodstock.” The Concert for the Living Water, advanced by activists worldwide, is designed to promote peace, health and plenty of clean water.

LIVE H2O is being hosted in more than a dozen countries simultaneously from Japan to Jerusalem, June 19-21, 2009. It is history’s first grassroots organized environmental initiative engaging audiences interactively over the Internet in HD video to raise awareness about the “Universal Solvent.” LIVEH2O.org has created LIVEH2O.tv for people everywhere to participate online.

Southern California alone is advancing four venues to accommodate the rising tide of celebrites and Grammy Award winners volunteering to perform during the 72-hour broadcast. Ten broadcasting channels initially planned have been doubled this week to support the international demand for LIVEH2O.tv programming.

“LIVE H2O is where science meets consciousness,” explains Sheri Thomas, a Los Angeles marketing executive. “The plan includes a vibrational experiment using music, water, and positive intention.”

The science portion is advanced by world leading experts in physics, metaphysics, and musical mathematics. This team is led by internationally known public health authority, Dr. Leonard Horowitz, who conceived the event. The advisors encourage music to be performed in the frequency of 528 Hz, most closely related to LOVE. Equipment will be positioned adjacent important bodies of water.

The consciousness portion is the simultaneous accompaniment of music and voice by expressions of gratitude. A world harmonic sound wave is planned to circle the earth over LIVEH2O.tv on Sunday, June 21st. People on and offline will send and receive audio and video streams everywhere for 90 minutes. A sonic hug will be given by people who can't use computers, but have telephones. Their voices will join in teleconference rooms--virtual religious and spiritual sanctuaries--then rebroadcast to join audiences at every venue to create a signal that enters oceans, lakes, rivers, and streams worldwide. This way. everyone gets a chance to musically sprinkle LOVE and thanks to water.

Music industry standards have changed many times over history, including the shifting of musical instrument tunings away from 528 Hz--the C-note used by Gregorian monks. This ancient musical standard will be transferred into modern songs and sent out across the waters as a thoughtful expression of thanks for all that water provides.

This family friendly “edutainment” experience with musicians, bands, artists, children’s activities, vendors, and speakers promoting water’s importance in peace, health, and sustainability will be broadcast for free beginning Friday, June 19th, over the Internet at http://www.LIVEH2O.tv.

    GROWING YOUR OWN PRODUCE
MAY BE SIMPLER THAN YOU THINK

    The writer is BROOK LARIOS.
    Larios captures the essence
of The KEEP The BEET project:

“I’m playing with the story of an actual beet that decided
she was tired of just sitting in the ground, watching
the human race become more and more fragmented,
and the beet, whose name is Keep the Beet, decided to speak up,”
said Goldman, also known to friends as The Enchanted Gardener.
Keep the Beet encourages people to make friends with a local,
organic farmer; purchase the largest beet they can find
and repot it, keeping it alive as it sprouts billowing, edible green leaves.

ANTHONY ZOLEZZI is one of the main inspirations behind
GREENOPS, a new Recycling Redemption project
that launches on Earth Day. GrEENOPOLIS is the
Social Network site. I am sure there are going
to be companies using plastic blottles for years.
This is a great project to make sure that those
producing drinks and other products in plastic
begin responsible for a program that sees
the bottles they sell are returned to the store
    that sells it.
