ENCHANTED GARDENER
to PRODUCE NEW SERIES OF
GREETING CARDS IN SUPPORT OF
SO CAL LOCAL ORGANIC FARMERS

I will Approach HP at HOLLYWOOD GOES GREEN EVENT
with Samples of Greeting Cards Made on the
HP KIOSK. They are one of the main sponsors of
Hollywood Goes Green.

The HP Kiosk, is a great tool for making your very own
Greeting Cards, as well as posters and digital photo prints.

Your Enchanted Gardener, AKA Leslie Goldman, has mastered
the HP Kiosk. He used it to make his first series of Greeting Cards
recently alled GREETING CARDS FOR SEEDING OUR DREAMS.

Your Enchanted Gardener is on to a New Series now,
one to support So Cal Local Organic Farmers.

The first Card features, Joe Rodriguez of JR Organics
in his growing field.

The second greeting card will feature food from Phil Noble of Sage Mountain
Farms.

Both JR Organics and Sage Mountain serve the local
Farmers' Markets as well as have CSA's. CSA stands
for Community Supported Agriculture. In the CSA
model, responsible eaters buy into the harvest BEFORE
it is grown, allowiing every JOE the FARMER to wake up
each day and say, "Happiness is Organic!" Without
the CSA model, farmers, bring lots of food to the Farmers'
Market. Lots of it goes unsold. There is a large percent of waste
at a time when every Unit grown really needs to bring funds
to the farmer.

The JR Organic CSA is limited by the members it can have.
IT is currently at 200, but would like to have 300 by Spring.
Th limitation is caused by local water restrictions that
are hampering the amount of food that can be grown in the field.
Much of the JR Organic Fields this year are fallow, even though
they could be growing more food if the current restrictions
on water usage did not exist. Farmers may heavy fines in
So Cal if they do not cut back use by 30%. This means less
food grown.

Prospective members who want to support JR Organics
are invited to sign up on a waiting list.
JR has numbers of drop off spots as well as So Cal Farmers'
Markets. He delivers among other stops to the local
Pacific College of Oriental Medicine.

The Inland Empire CSA, run by Phil Noble, grows food
on land in Aquanga fed by some of the finest local well water.
Noble says he can grow food now for 3000 members. He
has immediate openings.

The third Greeting Card in the series features
the smiling face of Barry Logan of La Milpa Organica Farm.
A very popular local grower, La Milpa Organica Farm
has monthly Community Gatherings that feature some of
the tastiest Pizza around made by Logan or other
Pizza Maestros. Mel Lions of Roots, another local farm
support organization, has been known to make some
of these pizzas. Lions is the former owner of Leaning Tower
Pizza. Those gatherings, the third Saturday of each month,
are held on the Escondido, La Milpa Organica Farm.

Joe Rodriguez Jr, Phil Noble, and Barry Logan can all be
found at the Hillcrest Farmers' Market, Sundays 9-11
as well as many other localtions in So Cal.

The Greeting Cards will be brought up to the
HOLLYWOOD GOES GREEN COnferenve December 8-9, 08.

who will offer their talents at the event. He will be the
photographer for the Organic Center Fundraiser the eve
of December 9.
