Debbie Drecksel
gave a wonderful talk at the Centennial Celebration.
She spoke in behalf of Lindsey Duncan, a dear friend
of Dr. Bernard Jensen.
Her talk begins with her expressing her love for
Dr. Bernard Jensen although she never met him.
She then goes on give some great lessons about
exotic juices, including Noni and Goji.

The Legacy continues.
The Love affair for this Humanitarian Giant
and his Monumental Work continues.

BIO NOTE ON DR. BERNARD JENSEN
from Age 87-92 By Your EG:

Dr. Bernard Jensen (1908-2001) lived to the age of 92.
At the age of 87, check me on that, Dr. Bernard Jensen was diagnosed with cancer.
The M.D.s said he was too old for chemo. The doctor may have said
he would die in six months. He was sent home to die.
Dr. Bernard Jensen was hard of hearing. He could not hear the doctor.
He went home and took his own Medicine.
He gathered around him closest friends, and took many of their favorite remedies
as well. He completely recovered from what what called terminal cancer.
He had no surgery. He had no chemo.

Part of that story is told in his book COME ALIVE.

He was out celebrating overcoming Cancer with Gavin McCloud,
T.V. star known for THE LOVE BOAT. The Love Boat Captain was an old friend.
The Cadillac was rear ended by a truck.
Dr. Bernard Jensen and wife Marie were in the back seat.
Dr. Bernard Jensen had to be pulled out of the car.
He was paralyzed from the hips down.
He was bedridden.

The doctors said he would never walk again.
The doctor said it would take a Lucky Boy to get out of this one.

The Dr. Bernard Jensen went home.
He put a sign over his bed.
The sign said, "I am a lucky boy."

Dr. Bernard Jensen believed in healing.
He knew how to make the most of every healing opportunity.
It saw in his own life an opportunity to uplift others.
He committed to walk again.
He meticulously recorded his entire healing process through
Video,keeping alive the habit that he had had since he was a young
Doctor in his 30's.

Dr. Jorgen Bernard Jensen (JBJ) made meticulous footage of his
days as a cripple. He had to change his entire life.
He moved away from the Hidden Valley Health Ranch where he
lived for a year and went into retreat. He needed to be closer
to physical therapists who worked with him everyday.

JBJ was in bed for many, many months.
Then he was in a wheelchair, then a walker,
then a cane.

He walked again.

There is a photo on the cover of my book project
called KEEP THE DREAM ALIVE that shows Dr. Bernard Jensen
standing on the hill outside his home waving to me.
I had just walked down that hill.

It is a deeply moving photo. It has symbolic import for me
because I too was totally crippled on that ranch and JBJ knew this.
That hill, that exists to this day at the Hidden Valley Retreat and Spa
was once difficult and impossible for me to walk.
Over the years I would test my own healing by how
well I could walk up that hill.

Dr. Bernard Jensen did walk again.
He was a workaholic as usual.
I attended one Iridology Seminar of his when he
was around 90. He was very pleased with himself.
The M.D.'s took bowel photos. His Bowel was as clean
as a baby. Bowel Cleansing was one of his Greatest Contributions
to Humanity. The Practice of Bowel Cleansing
he learned from his Essene School of Thought roots.
The story of Bowel Cleansings is told in Edmond Bordeaux Szekely's
published work, THE ESSENE GOSPEL OF PEACE.
In that book, Jesus tells the sick to cleanse the bowel.

JBJ, at the age of 90, went back to work.
He was a workaholic at heart, and more committed
to finishing what he started than taking time to rest.
He often said, "Most people die in bed."
This was a man who worked all day, and was often
up at day when he took time alone in his
Library that contained a collection that spanned decades
of collected books from personal friends.

Books were his Friends, as much as Professor Szekely,
his old ally called them Ammunition for Peace.

JBJ had a mystical side. So did Professor Szekely.
Both worked during the night. Both regenerated at night
through contact with the Essene Stream that sourced them both.

JBJ never slept much. He had his own tools for regaining energy.
One was the slantboard. He believed that if a person would take
a ten minute Catnap around 3 PM, a time of day when the moon
and sun were in battle, a person could get up refreshed.

This is why he spoke so highly of the slant board. JBJ's slant board
idea was transformed and improved by Larry Jacobs of Newport Beach
who now manufactures the BodySlant.

JBJ knew not to get gravity working for him, rather than against him.

Back to the story:

Dr. Bernard Jensen went back to work around 89.
He started to travel again. He went back to overworking.
The area in his hip, where he had been paralyzed, was a weak
point for years of doing Iridology exams. In the presence
of women, he would often cross his legs when he looked
into their eyes with his magnifying glass. He created stress
in that area of the body. Dr. Jensen saw more than 350,000
patients, and was unceasing in his will and determination
that eventually got the best of him.

Some times, he would talk about how at each decade of a person's life,
we have to live differently. This was a man who also said, a good life
is long enough. This was a man who was a Ram, an Aries, who powerful
capacity to drive himself and others. He knew that Rams and Goats
have infinite flexibility but when they finally get sick, they often die.

Dr. Bernard Jensen died as he lived, working from bed. His mind
was strong to the last. He would look out the window to his bedroom
and lovingly enjoy the flowers. He called himself a nature boy.
He was a nature boy to the end.

I, as many others, were uplifted by him.
This was a man who loved the Mother Earth his entire life.
He knew how to Keep the Beet with Nature.
He worked tirelessly for Nature.

He died knowing he would walk again. He died knowing
he would be at his 100th Birthday.

The man, discontented in many ways in his
drive to finish his work, had a love affair with humanity,
and left the body a contented man.

so we can get some field studies going.
