Step 1. You have to do is locate a small switch on the upper left side of your phone. It is this small silvered button, just a notch above the volume key.
Step 2. Apply a mild force to misalign the switch with all the other keys. Make sure you apply this push in the direction of your iPhone. This implies your phone will now be in Silent mode and your phone will not ring but will vibrate whenever a call is incoming or when you do receive a message. Just as you press the switch, a no bell sign will crop up indicating Silent mode.
Step 3. Now head to the &ldquo ; S E T tings” application. Go to “Sounds” and then press Vibrate” on your handheld. Turn off the vibrate option just under “Silent”. This will stop your phone from vibrating even when it is in Silent mode. If you still want to receive a notification via vibration, don’t follow this step.
