Do lactobacteria really ensure complete protection from candida?
Not for me, it didn't.
when my last candida relapse started, I was already wiser from having had to deal with these nasties before, so I was eating a low carb/no Sugar diet, except for a treat once a week.I lived on a diet of salads and fish; by the way, raw foods didn't cut it for me either.
Plus I ate a bio yogurt everyday and a Yakult--these are chockful with good bacteria, L. Acidophilus, L. Casei etc.
But my good diet did not protect me from stress induced Candida. Go figure!
I ate right and still got no reward for good behavior. I am still kind of mad about it. ;-D
