Skippey elm is one of the few substances that seems to soothe my irritated gut. Besides, mixed with water as a sort of gruel, it's not bad tasting.
But I read somewhere it's a carb, and feeds the candida, just like any regular carb.
Is this true?
Also, did you observe any difference in terms of gas and irritation of the intestine between brown rice and white rice? I seem to tolerate white ricebetter --I eat only very small quantities of either anyhow.
