The interesting thing is that the hives are definitely caused by some problems with the liver (virus, heavy metal). This is one piece of my health "puzzle" that I'm trying to put together. I do not yet actually know the actual cause of the hives and I'm sure we both have different causes, but it seems as though it has something to do with both of our livers (so thank you for helping me make that connection because I was thinking it might have more to do with my lymph system).
I think you are right that there is a healing crisis going on, the problem is, we're not really sure WHERE the healing crisis is happening or WHAT is causing it.
In the Liver-Flush forum, the poster DUNSEAPROD mentioned something that helped me on this subject. Here's the post:
I'm not trying to misconstue what was mentioned in his post (and if anyone has a different point of view, please say so) but he says that vaccinations cause a hepatitis state in the liver and it cannot function properly until it is removed/nuetralized.
Now in my case, I know that the hives are viral related. I'm thinking the chicken pox strain-causing shingles later on. I've LF'd 3x this year and have done two fasts. After both fasts, I've gotten shingles reactions (big itchy red boils in my lymph node areas) and after doing fasting/liverflushing, for the first time I've gotten these "hives" 3x in the same year. When I was younger, it would be in one spot, once a year, and it was always very inflamed and pussy. As I got older (junior high until now) they reduced to patches of small itchy red bumps.
In your case, it may or may not be viral. Your liver definitely released some poison after the Liver Flush and after going through a cycle, it's now coming out your skin, instead of through your kidneys/urine and bile/stool. If this is the case, I think the Bentonite clay on the actually rash and liquid Bentonite taken internally would help detoxify the "poisons." I'm still doing the Bentonite on the rash, it's not itching anymore, but is painful to touch. This is the first time I've tried it and if I had money to buy some liquid bentonite to take with psyllium, I would.
So, this is all part of the "Herxheimer" reaction as they call it, but it's still pretty vague. There really isn't a definite way to tell if you're having a healing reaction or not. Anyone, detoxing or not has a healing reaction, that's why we get colds-it's a healing reaction. If we didn't, then we'd die.
Well, this is all pretty much common sense, not really any facts, but hopefully I'll be able to do more research and figure out the different causes for hives. There are ways to test it (as you would know after reading Dunseaprod's post) but I don't have the money to right now.
I wonder if yours is getting any better? I think if it is a viral reaction it would stay much longer than a metal/toxin. Let me know how you're doing, send me an email if you wish.
