my personal protocol works great for getting the bowels regular.
first thing in the am is good fresh juice. then first thing i eat is a bowl of fresh ground flax seeds, with kefir or water, black strap molasses, 8 - 10 probiotic caps opened up, two FOS caps opened up. mix it up and eat. (you can sub honey for the molasses, i just like the high mineral content of the molasses, it seems to encourage probiotic growth)
this provides fiber, healing fat, and plenty of probiotic.
then during the day i take LOTS of digestive enzymes. as many as i need. could be 4 or 5 per meal, could be 10 - 12 per meal or more.
plenty of good water with a some quality salt added.
moreless' alkalizing drink at least once or twice a day on empty tummy.
