I need to do a kidney cleanse now after my 12th liver flush. I have done only two kidney cleanses before this. The herbs that Andreas suggests are not available in India where I live, and ordering them from the US is too expensive.
I found three different substitutes - Watermelon seeds, Celery seeds, and chanca piedra (bhumi amalaki in ayurveda). Of these, chanca piedra seems to have the best reviews.
However, there seems to be no consensus on dosage and duration for the chanca piedra. From doing a lot of search online, it seems that most people take 500 mg twice a day, for a month to two months.
Is this the correct dosage?
Can I take chanca piedra along with the apple juice or ACV for the Liver Flush preparation? I am concerned about this because chanca piedra also dissolves liver and gallbladder stones, so taking both chanca piedra and apple juice may be too strong for the body.
Also, if anyone could suggest any other way to cleanse the kidneys that does not involve this complication - like Watermelon or Celery seeds or anything else, if one knows how much and for how long one is to take them, that would be helpful.
