Thanks for your kind thoughts. He was our favourite uncle, my mum's younger brother. We all loved him. Meeting up and enjoying a family meal with him whenever we were in Cyprus was always one of the highlights of our holidays there. That and meeting up with the missus' cousin, who unfortunately was recently diagnosed with stage 4 glioblastoma. She's been thru the surgery, and is now undergoing radiotherapy, possibly to be followed by chemo. You know, all the harmless stuff that's bound to cure her.
So yeah, not the most auspicious circumstances in which to enjoy a holiday, but I'm more concerned about their families than any cloud hanging over our holiday. Then I hear news of the bombing back home. Trapper is (almost) welcome relief by comparison. He reminds me a lot of 461. They should get on like a house on fire. On second thoughts, maybe not. I hafta wonder, who would throw in the towel first in an argument between these two?
