Trouble sticking to Candida diet
Forum: Candida & Dysbiosis Forum
I have been battling a candida overgrowth for at least 5 years.I have tried so many things to cure it. Fivelac helps relieve my symptoms better than anything else but is way too expensive for me. I had my symptoms under control but was forced to take a round of antibiotics and have been struggling to get back to where I was.
I find the candida diet impossible to stick to but plan to at least eliminate the obvious sugars from my diet like cakes, cookies, breads and pies. This is doable for me but giving up stuff like potatoes, cheese, ketchup and soy sauce is what I find impossible.Sweet treats and pasta are what really make me flare up.
Im going to restrict my diet of all pasta, bread and obvious sugars but still plan to eat my normal condiments like ketchup and mustard as well as salad dressings, brown rice and potatoes. I have had success in the past using oregano oil and coconut oil but have now become resistant to them and have had to buy new herbs to try.
I have just ordered blackseed oil, neem, tumeric and grapefruit seed extract that I intend to rotate between every 4 days while limiting my sweets intake. I was taking diatomaceous earth once a day and it caused such bad vaginal irriation I had to stop it. I read about Luferunon and may order some of it too.
Just wanted to ask if anybody else has had success curing candida without the overly strict diet? Its just extremely hard not to cheat while on the stricter version of the diet and I always do. I take coconut oil daily but the candida is already resistant to it as well as Apple cider vineagr. I also take Lugol's Iodine for slow thyroid.
Does anybody eat the way I mentioned and still find it is possible to cure candida?
