Coconut oil has been demonstrated to REVERSE Alzheimer's to a certain extent. I forget the name, but some doctor (really, an MD) her husband was at the door of being a basketcase, and she brought him back to now he is doing household chores and such.
Alzheimer's has been called diabetes of the brain. To avoid Alzheimer's altogether, make sure that your brain energy is not just only carbs. Fats and particularly medium chain fatty acids (a long way of saying coconut oil) should be part of the mix. You should go into ketosis occasionally because you are eating so few carbs and so much fat.
