I don't know about chiropractor, but possibly. I had mercury poisoning so I found my local holistic dentist to safely remove the fillings. He also did orthapedic dentistry and immediately spotted my bite problem and told me he thought that was a bigger issue affecting me than the mercury. He works with a cranial osteopath and he got me to have treatment with him to invesigate further. He immediately spotted that I had a twist in my spine that was responsible for misaligned jaw. My mum says she seems to remember I had the cord wrapped around my neck.
X-Rays confirmed what the dentist and osteopath thought and I decided to have it sorted.
So I reckon based on my experience that you find an orthapedic dentist (not to be confused with orthadontic, although orthapedic dentistry uses orthadontics once the jaw position is corrected to line the teeth up with the new jaw position.
