I guess I am just a bit tore between the GAPS protocol and Wilson's protocol. I feel like the fruit and raw juices are an absolute critical factor in fasting and detoxing. And I fully agree it is brutal on the adrenals, but during the process is when I feel like deep, deep real healing is taking place. Not to mention the fact, that I originally lost so much weight, detoxed, and healed such a great deal on a mostly fish-vegetarian diet without grains or dairy.
I am totally clueless on what my reaction to eggs could mean. I actually think it may be because I have not done the Liver Flushes or dealt with my gallstones. Or it could just be the sensitivity of my GI tract in general. Really the only thing that is absolutely gentle, is the juicing. GI inflammation and overall acidity seem to be a factor in this, with me.
Dairy is probably the toughest one for me. I feel like I want it, but I am not sure if I think it is an OK food. I remember reading quite a few articles about how man was not meant to eat it. And the whole range of arguments enters there, and it gets confusing.
