This response says salt is not toxic to yeast unless in high amounts. In high amounts its toxic to all cells because of its osmotic pressure/dehydration/chloride toxicity? We have to ask the question why can salt raise our blood pressure? and could it have that same affect with candida? Fungal candida might be more resistant to salt. Just something to think about.
