Yes, I agree that water fasting will cause faster detox than juice fasting.
But most of us are so toxic that too rapid of a detox could cause illness or even kill us.
I really like Arnold Ehret's books in this regard. He explains how important it is to be extremely careful when fasting and how the process varies greatly from one person to another.
For myself, I've come to the conclusion that "slow and steady wins the race". So I fruit-juice fast and when I start to detox too fast, I slow it down by eating some fruit or a spicy tomato drink. I also sometimes add a bit of garlic and olive oil to my orange juice.
And the importance of keeping things moving "down and out" cannot be over-stressed.
Overall, this approach is 100% better than the SAD.
