I've been addicted to Kefir after trying it six months ago. Seriously, I ADORE this stuff!
Two weeks ago I obtained some grains and have been making daily kefir since then. The 3-4 batches weren't successful and I threw them out. Since then, the kefir is perfect in texture but VERY yeasty. I mean it's not tastey. I've been using it for smoothies, but I miss straight up plain kefir!
What am I doing wrong?
Oh, I should add that I drank store bought before. I did drink many different brands though, each a wee bit different in taste, but NONE that tasted yeasty at all!
