That's good news, I think I'll do both: 1/2 with alcohol, 1/2 w/ coconut oil. (and drop the tincture in hot H2O b4 use to evap most of the alcohol).
Thinking back, just prior to crushing up the Chap, I crushed up some celery seeds which had a STRONG aroma. So maybe the chaparral only seemed lacking by comparison. And there was some dark resin in the mortar...
