I am so glad I logged on today.
You need the Calvary to come charging in to rescue you, don't you?
And the Calvary I am speaking of is the cross at Calvary, darling.
I'm not in your shoes, but been dere, done dat, sort of.
My batterer...whooo. I divorced him just to get out alive.
Gave him "the kids, car, cats, cash"-- EVERYTHING. Just let me live ...that was the plan. Worked beautifully, only one hitch. I knew I was too injured to live "out there". Ended up homeless. So how does that benefit me? Meanwhile, he's bought the home, got a big, new status car, he's sitting at home brain-washing my kids.....
Situations like ours just break my heart. Dr. Phil says it takes two....baloney. A woman can be completely innocent, meet a psychopath and be totally destroyed because she can't get out of his way fast enough. It's like saying Hitler/Jews....two sides of the pancake. No way. One is totally innocent. Sounds like you are innocent and he is going to ride roughshod over you come hell or high water. You will simply have to go into deep survival mode. Make God your new Husband. Make the Holy Spirit your new Best Friend. Jesus becomes your Provider. He will make a way where there seems to be no way. He is your Jehovah Jirah in good economy/bad economy. Get the idea.
I went back into the enemy camp and took back what he stole from me.
Long story, won't bother you with details here but this time there will be a different ending. I just "wait on God". I suggest you do the same.
Take everything to God in prayer and do nothing without His guidance- ever.
