Thank you for your input. This has been quite a journey learning to listen to my body. You are so right. I have to try the carbs again.
Some adrenal-healthy chocolate...OTHER than the caffeine in the cocoa powder (be careful!):
3/4 c coconut oil
1/2 c green & black's organic cocoa powder
1-2 t ribogy powder
stevia to taste
Heat the coconut oil on the stove, and stir in cocoa powder and ribogy till dissolved, stirring constantly. Add stevia to taste.
Stirring as much as possible (or granules will settle to the bottom), pour into a wax-paper lined (including up the sides) pyrex dish and freeze. Break apart for pieces and store in freezer or fridge.
Even my kids like this...though that may just mean they are deprived. ;)
