I have been eating low carb since January and for a full week 0 carbs to try out ketogenic diet. I am feeling better than I was on low carb.
I haven't seen any difference in my immune system however I see that thrush on the tongue has disappeared a lot. I'm continuing with 0 carbs and see if I can tolerate it for longer periods of time. But currently I'm feeling good and transition period wasn't that bad at all. Lots of fat and no carbs had to be consumed for it to work.
I have tried going ketogenic before but failed several times. While I was doing this I also took in small amounts of carbs but that made me feel acidic and I was dehydrated all the time. I think my body was jumping between ketones and glucose.
