Reverse everything you have read. Consume more fiber = Consume less fiber, Drink more water = Drink less water. Add fat (butter and olive oil, coconut oil), donīt stress with the excercise and add salt substitute (potassium chloride) into the diet.
It cured my constipation. I was in real trouble before and was going crazy about foods which could constipate me. One day I thought it was the chicken, another day dairy, thirdly avocado. Tried to consume much as fibre and felt bloated.
Too much water will flush potassium and magnesium out of the body. Potassium draws water into the colon. Magnesium relaxes the colon.
Too much fiber can make feces too large what could damage the colon.
Also, additional potassium plays an important role in my constipation free life.
