"Necessities of life" - Basic needs, such as food, water, clothing, and shelter, that a person requires to survive.

Clothing... now how much clothing would that be? a pair of socks, a t-shirt, tenna shoes and a pair of denim (prison garb would be sufficient)

Shelter does not include gas, electricity, in fact everything one needs is located at your nearest internment camp.

Water... tainted with fluoride and chlorine... that should keep everyone dummbed down sufficiently. If you want to filter out the chemicals then that will cost you extra with carbon taxing.

Communications stuff not needed... telephone - nope, no way.

Try getting around this country (USA) without a vehicle... oh, that is also not a necessity either.
