hi! i signed up to talk to you about your question even though its been 3 months. i recently started taking 2,400 units of vit d3 because of the stuff i read on mercola.com in help to fight the flu and keep it away but i have herpes type 2 and when i first started taking the vit d3 at only about 1,200units i had an outbreak and didnt think anything about it because i am pregnant and figured that was why i had the outbreak. and i been sick with a cold twice! then, my husband who i have been with for 5 years i started him on vit d3 because i am afraid of him bringing home h1n1 and he got an outbreak and we didnt even know he had it! then i got it on my mouth! i believe it is all because of the vit d3. steroids cause herpes outbreaks and vit d3 is a steroid. i started to take the anti-viral my Dr prescribed me and i kept taking the vit d3 still not linking the two and it just kept getting worse and i couldnt figure out why i thought maybe it was poison ivy on my mouth because i had that on my belly. which didnt last long because i believe the steriod 'vit d3' suppressed the poison ivy. so i know its herpes now on my mouth all from the Fing vit d3 i am really frustrated because i got this disease from working at a freaking thrift store and now i gotta deal with all this for the rest of my life and worry about infecting my children. i have a site that someone has done research on vit d3 and its bad effects. it doesnt talk about cold sores or anything but there are people who believe vit d is bad and go as far as to cover up every inch of their body when they go outside! crazy. but is it? im starting to wonder because i also started getting a lot of pimples when i started the vit d3 and just thought again because im pregnant. heres the link

anyways i just got excited to see someone saw and was takling about what i had come up with. i will not be taking vit d3 to see what happens and hopefully the blisters go away. i cant take this im about to scream!
