As I'm on a predominantly grain free diet to help with carbohydrate cravings, I was wondering what the general consensus regarding oat bran and rice bran was for sufferers of candida, leaky gut and adrenal fatigue.
Both are quite tasty, and ideal for breakfast, and are also good sources of insoluble and soluble fibre I believe, however are these likely to be problematic to those with multiple food intolerances and a leaky gut? I showed as 'mildly sensitive' to gluten after an IgG intolerance test and the advice was to 'rotate', however I'm skeptical of the reliability of such tests.
Are all 'brans' generally equally nutritious? Are there some that are more hypoallergenic and better tolerated by most?
I can of course try them both in low portions and rotated for a while so see how I get on, however I might save time and aggro if I knew before hand whether they are likely to be problematic.
