Well its that time of the year when all the hairy old black caterpillars come out and mow down everything in their path. Seems to be a LOT of them here this year (South suburbs of Perth WA)
Im after a natural way to get rid of them. No poisons as I have 3 cats (not mine) that visit regulary plus a tame white cocky and 3 magpies I hand feed. Cant believe what a greenie I have turned into. I hit 45 a couple of years back and I find I actually give a s**t these days!
Anyway any hints.

Doesn't kill them just moves them on (to the neighbours house LOL!!).
Hehehe Yea quite a few have taken flying lessons over the fence. Silly things just leap into my hand and of course my natural reaction is to "Get EM off me " which involves a quick flick over the fence hehehe !
Will try that brew. Ta

:O dont squash the poor little things, thats cruel. just pick em up and take em to a park or something :P
if you have kids, maybe keep some in a shoebox and the kids can watch them make cocoons =)
but long-term, i would also try chilliwater spray =)
