I am on day 8 of the MC! Woah. I didn't really establish a length of time I want to go this round. The longest I've done is 14 days. I would like to make it the whole rest of the lenten season but I'm sure I'll know when I've gone long enough.
I would like to know about your experiences with exercising on the MC.
I have been working out for about an hour every morning and it hasn't been too intensive and it's hard for me to push myself past limits with my regular workout.
However, I just started running again for the season on Friday - only a short run Friday. On Saturday I was a little sore but I pulled off a 5+mi run. On Sunday I was very very very sore but ran another 5+mi. Today I am back in the office and I gave myself a break from any exercise this morning. I am really really sore and stiff and tired.
Now I'm a little concerned that I did over-extend myself this weekend.
Will my body be able to repair from the exercise while fasting?
Should I continue to take a break or is it okay to run again tonight?
Should I lay off the running because it's too intense til the fast is over and stick to the more low-key daily routine?
