I have found that Sugar sets off the ear ringing. I have tried taking magnesium and a multivitamin, and that seems to help a bit. The ringing goes down to an intensity of 1 at different times, but after eating 6 M&Ms it is at about a 6 or 7 now. It seems to be mostly on the left, or at least the sound is louder in my left ear.
Could my second, relatively new Mirena be causing this tinnitus?
