As you know, when I fell sick with candida, I lost 2 sizes in 2 months, was--and still am--restricted to roughly 10 foods, had severe pains in the gut, brain fog, pains in my joints, muscles, headaches and crazy heartbeat when I reacted to foods, etc.
When I read that someone got rid of his candida in 5 days, I want to ask him: ''what were your symptoms?''
Somehow, I have the feeling that we are not talking about the same disease at all, and that the word candida is used on this forum to refer to a lot of very different diseases, the only thing common between them being that they all originate in the gut and digestive system and involve some kind of dysbiosis, at least originally.
Some of us have mere yeast infection, others systemic candiasis, which might lead to leaky gut/IBS, or Crohn's disease, or may suffer from ulcerative colitis, who knows?
But what I am sure of is, if you could get rid of your candida in 5 days, it sure can't be systemic candiasis, or leaky gut/IBS...
You cannot get rid of systemic candiasis/leaky gut in 5 days anymore than you can get rid of tuberculosis or heart disease in 5 days...:-D
It requires lots of small adjustments, lots of time, trial and error and patience...
So don't get bewildered or disheartened if you read these overnight cures stories whereas you are healing only slowly, we are talking apples and oranges here.
