I just stopped seing doctors for quite a while; I was thoroughly disgusted with their arrogant, ignorant ways. When you are seriously sick, dealing with doctors who deny you illness even exists, even deny your symptoms, is adding another heavy burden to the illness;
However, talking to a member of the family who is a surgeon and does intestinal surgery, he told me that a number of my symptoms pointed toward Crohn's disease--it returns regularly, presence of allergies, pain only in a limited area on the right side, etc.
I am debating if I should do the exams to get this diagnosis confirmed or not--after all, there are no cures for Crohn's, just remissions, and from what I can see on curezone and the net, lots of controversies surrounding the diet.
I don't think I want to undergo painful coloscopy just to hear that what ails me is incurable.
