does anyone rub walnut oil on their skin? refrigerate it or not?
so I'm not big on pulling with walnut oil. too thin and tastes funny, but I'll try it again. I have a bottle that i've had for four months or so hanging out in my cupboard (I hope I didn' t have to refrigerate it :/ )
I'm trying to decide if I should give it away or use it for my skin.
I use castor oil and coconut oil (and occasionally oregano oil) on my skin, and that's worked out really well. my skin due to funky shower water and weather gets extremely dry and castor oil keeps it from itching, and otherwise keeps my legs lubed and smooth.
coconut oil likewise, but the results don't last as long. castor oil is for pj's and thick socks, coconut oil to go on right before I go out and isn't greasy.
I even rub castor oil on my face occasionally (something to do with making lymph system circulate better) and it hasn't made me break out or anything (coconut oil neither...a fact which my sister thinks is impossible: "but you're not supposed to put oil on your FACE!!!" -- ha! oregano oil works better on zits than any of the expensive zit drying potions. cheaper too!)
so, what about walnut oil?
I wanted to put it on my face before bed tonight but I'm going to wait and see what people say.
p.s. I fell off the horse OPing for awhile. I'd still do it once or twice a week but now I'm back to doing once or twice a day and sometimes back to back pulls (with castor oil...have to switch soon.) This is to help with some bronchitis that I feel has been hanging around due to living in a not-great house with health issue. I mean, this thing has been around for almost two and a half months, lurking and receding.
oh, but my point was, I've been OPing like so many of us in front of the computer and I just wanted to remind ya'all to put a box of floss by your computer to remind you that flossing is important too. I'm not really good about it, but when it's by my computer I remember to do it. Also-- when I OP, I still feel plaque bumps near the crevices of my teeth, so when a lot build up I know it's time to floss.... however preventative beats treatment every time.
