The survey is still a work in progress. We can always add new questions and y'all can add options to the answers on many of the questions. I thought it would be interesting to find out who is water fasting (not names, everything is anonymous) and what the results of their water fasts have been. Please take the time and do the survey. A few of the questions have long lists of possible answers. These are taken from the standardized questions Spirit formulated to cover many of the symptoms and health issues discussed here on Curezone. I hope y'all will answer these questions as thoroughly as you can. It will be nice to see what water fasting can help and what it might not help. Most questions will also have a space at the bottom to write your own story or make some comments.
Finally, you may notice some typos. My keyboard is failing and it will be a week before I can afford a new one. The space key does not always work and a few letters fail to show up. Please forgive these errors.
Sorry hopinso got to the third question and couldn't go any further. You asked how long is an average fast? No answer to that one, all my fasts are open ended and vary in length. Also it's not clear if that question is following on from the first two questions which were asking about when we started fasting. How long I fasted when I first started 'experimenting' with it and how long I fast nowadays are two completely different numbers.
Also nothing to do with your survey but I had to reload the page a dozen times nearly trying to stay logged in and it did actually log me out after that third non-answer so I don't even know if it would have let me complete the survey without answering that question. Curezone's answer is to uninstall firefox- good one guys I only installed firefox in the first place because ie kept crashing on me in vista.
I started oil pulling with organic coconut oil and liquid bentonite clay mixed together in my mouth. About one month ago, I ran out of the liquid bentonite clay and continued oil pulling with just the coconut oil. At the same time I started oil pulling I also stopped using toothpaste with flouride. I now use my own tooth powder made of mostly bentonite clay.
My gums don't bleed anymore and they are pink and healthy. The only issue I have now is that I have a loose tooth and I don't know why. I don't feel any pain on that tooth. Can someone help me? I don't want other teeth to loosen up. Should I add something to my oil?
how is your diet?
Except from doing oil pulling it would be wise to keep ad adequate intake of VIt. C, and fat soluble form of Vit. A,D, K and K2 (either MK7 or MK4, try both of them and see which one fits you best).
At the same time cut down on refined sugars and floss regularly.... for some reason i have the feeling OP does more for Teeth quality and less for gums... another options would be OP during fasting regiments, fasting is famous to help fixing teeth into their sockets if done properly, even intermittent fasting can help to some degree.
Interesting. Both oil and clay are helpful for your mouth and gums. But i wouldn't do them together. Only because clay works by absorbing anything and everything near it which is great for getting rid of mouth bacteria even abscesses, etc. But it will also absorb the good stuff in the oil and cancel it out to some extent. It's not bad for you but you're just missing some of the benefit.
I'd oil pull and swish with the clay some hours apart from each other for maximum effect.
Hi Hopinso, I am hoping you can help me decide if I should do another flush next weekend with only one week in between.
I did my 18th or so flush on Sat night..
I did my last one the first weekend of September. That one was awesome. My liver was doing a great job until I drank some Bone Broth in December, and I literally felt my liver/gallbladder get clogged. First my stool turned green the next day, then its been very pale since, other than when I eat beets. Also I developed terrible B.O which I hadn't had for many many months.
So I did my Pulverexx herbs and prepared. The day before the flush I did acupuncture; I was quite cold when I did it and very tired after. I was a little worried that I closed down my pathways rather than opening them because of the cold, but I just took lots of baths and hot water bottles and figured the flush should still work. I have only had great results when taking the Pulzerexx herbs.
On Sunday morning I went to the bathroom right away and saw a few dark green stones and a lot of green mush. I didn't worry because I lot of times I see more stones on the Monday monring. I had kefir, and then I had my regular breakfast of kefir and cornbread with some nut butter, as that's what my body seemed to want. About 3 hours later my stomach started to hurt like what I ate was way too heavy, and it continued to hurt all day.
Now on Monday morning, I only passed very very few more stones, and I still have this horrible feeling of fullness and depression. I have been struggling to stay on top of my health (SIBO, gastritis, weak adrenals, sluggish liver) and was really really hoping this would help. I feel very hopeless and sad. I am not being a good partner to my new husband, as I do not feel well, and this consumes much of my energy.
Do you think I could/should flush again this weekend? This horrible feeling is so hard to deal with. I just feel constantly full.
I am new to this forum and want to ask for some input from Hopinso.
I have been on a very good diet for the past few months, like lots of fruits veggies, no junk , lentils, beans ,nuts seeds , just whole foods. No bad carbs .
i get a bad taste in my mouth when i do this diet and am experiencing fatigue and exhaustion. The worst part is that my hair is falling out like crazy and no matter how healthy i eat , i am still feeling very sick.
Typical adrenal symptoms, crashing in the afternoons, energetic at night ,difficulty falling asleep etc.I have tried liver flushing once with some success, as I had a much more tolerable period after the flush .I have parasites ,fatty liver , hormone problems etc .
just one weekend I was out of town and had to eat pasta at the restaurant , ate some rice too , and actually felt better for a short while .Funny i feel better when eating more carbs. So is that whats been missing?
Can you advise as to how a clean diet could be wrong? what should i be doing ? i have been advised to clean up my liver and kill parasites , get the body to be ore alkaline ,all of which i am trying to do .Why so much hair loss? Is it toxins coming out fo the scalp and taking chunk of my hair with them ?I cant seem to understand this.
One thing I discovered the hard way is that there is no universal perfect diet, in fact, we cannot even really count on an ideal diet that will be perfect throughout our lives. If you feel you need carbs, then eat them in the healthiest form possible. Some people thrive on whole grains while others have problems. The same goes with animal products, ever time I have attempted to stick with a vegetarian diet, I have gotten very weak. I don't eat a lot of meat, but found I need it several times a week in small amounts. I'm afraid I will not be one of those people who tell you to eat this diet, take these supplements and drink that brand of water. There are no easy answers. But, I do believe our bodies will let us know what they need. As a rule we get so caught up in superficial cravings that we miss the message our body sends us. Your cleansing will help you get in better tough with your body.
If you believe your adrenals are weak, be careful not to do too much cleansing all at once. You do not want to overstress your body. I believe in first making sure you are well hydrated, its amazing how quickly even mild dehydration will make you feel bad.
I suggest you invest in a green foods powder, there are many choices and price ranges. A glass or two of a high quality green drink will supply you with the necessary minerals that the body can utilize best. The minerals found in green veggies and green drinks are plant based of course and are so much better than any supplement. By the way if pH is a factor for you a couple of green drinks with a small amount of sweetener added to help the body absorb the minerals will probably be all you need to do to keep your pH level at the right level for each individual organ. Remember, not every organ should be alkaline, some systems need an acidic enviroment.
As for the hair loss, it could be detox or it could be a nutritional issue. Do not totally eliminate any food group unless your body cannot tolerate that food group at all. Rapid detox can cause hair loss in some people. I lost handfuls of hair during my first parasite cleanse, but it grew back thicker than it had been for a while.
Keep experimenting with your diet, follow your instincts more than any other advice (including mine). Stay away from inflammatory foods like high fructose corn syrup, refined sugar and trans-fats. Experiment with liver and parasite cleansing, but take things slow enough as to not stress your adrenals.
Remember-we are all a work in progress. There will be rough spots, but also wonderful high points, the key is not to give up and revert back to old habits (this is me preaching to the choir)
Thank for your input. You are right, maybe I should eat more browm rice and lentils if that gives me more energy!
Just that the "candida" diet did not work or me , so i started eating all kinds of fruits and that made my rashes become worse ! So i dont know whats the right thing for me to do .
i now believe that just keeping my insides clean and all organs finctioning properly will automatically keep the candida at bay .But its taking forever to get better and its kind of depressing at times ,when one dosent make any progress. I am concentrating on geting my colon, liver and kidneys cleansed and see if that makes a difference.
i never thought that giving my body what it needs( good clean food) would make any problem worse .I am just at a complete loss as to whats causing my hair to fall out.If I could find that out, I would be able to help myself better , i guess.
if I should use a green foods powder, which one do you recommend? I have never researched for such products to buy.

I use Green Max powder ordered through Swanson Vitamins http://swansonvitamins.com
There are many good brands, but an old poster named Owen introduced me to this and I have stayed with it for the most part.
I really don't know for sure what is causing your hair loss. I will do some more research.
Most of your symptoms are very typical of hypothyroidism. This is also the most common reason for hair loss in women. Furthermore, both adrenal disorders and hormone imbalances can both contribute to hypothyroidism. So I would check this first. Lab teats are VERY inaccurate when it comes to detecting hypothyroidism. A more accurate way to detect hypothyroidism is with basal body temperature. Instructions for this simple test can be found on the internet.
Hypothyroidism symptoms include weight gain in some cases, fatigue, hair loss, constipation, insomnia, dry hair and skin, cold intolerance, mental fogginess, and subnormal body temperature. It is important to get checked for this as hypothyroidism is the leading cause of heart disease. Its contribution is twofold. Hypothyroidism leads to not only higher cholesterol but also the inflammation that leads to the cholesterol deposition from elevated homocysteine levels.
Thanks for your input.Yes I have hypothyroidism. My lab tests are "normal" but body temperature is always upto 97.2.I have cold feet and sesitivity to light .
I am taking natural thyroid supplement ,that has iodine from kelp and other supporting minerals/vitamins.
Whats strange is that if the hypothyroidism is causig hair loss, then why would it get worse after changing the diet ? Thats the reason i am hunting for answers.I think the diet is detoxing more than i can handle and thats the reson hair is falling out ?
Well , even if i see some improvement with the thyroid supplement , it will take a while for the hair loss to stop .What is bothering me is that is is getting worse ,not better.
But thanks to all who are responding .its nice to hear form epople who have expereince, when u are feeling so lost about a sitaution. And doctors are no help on this one, nobody has a clue why the sudden rapit hair loss.
I don't know the date of this post, but I did a peroxide, ginger powder, baking soda bath last night and I shredded a LOT of hair. I took it as normal bc I've never done a detox before so it probably cleansed well on me. I learned in Beauty school u loose 142-172 hairs each day! And u sprout the same. :) so it may be a good thing. I'm going to try castor oil massages mixed with olive oil to try and help growth :)
Like almost any chronic insomnia sufferer, I've been very eager to change outmy amalgam fillings, without yet having the full amount saved up yet need for the process. What i do have Is a basic stock of chelators, and like a kid in a candy store, my self control broke down after the months and i poured open the ALA. And.. and I wanted to try an,d see what NAC in fizzingtablet form was like. now i pay with the second night of un-sleep. the more confusing symptom is numbness in the skin, on lips and extremeties,as if my skin were cold... but double checking, the skin and bod temperature is normal. this is strogexst at night.
bowel movements are solid but drop downwards in water. helper minerals i have access to at home are selenium, zinc, magnesium citrate, iron, boron and
calcium, and a low potency multi vitamin. helper nutrients available are spray-adriedserum albumin (basic full aminacid supplement), milk thistle, l-tyrosin, 100 grams of danish rose hip without the seeds in the fridge, b-complex 100 (though not so happy
about the cyanocobalamin)
am tempted to go two weeks sans supplements besides gentle minerals. had 1 gram spray-dried albumin about 20 hours ago and felt mostly normal, but if there is more i can do about it at the moment, i'd really appreciate guidance.
can manage a purchase of calcium bentonite about 7 days.
That link is about all I know about chelation. Try his cilantro pesto, especially at night. Do not go too heavy on the supplements. Sorry I can't help more. Owen was my teacher and I followed his advice. Your hydrating drink is excellent. I add about 1\4 tsp of potassium chloride-ordinary salt substitute.
Thanks hoppin, I think I'll repeat the thread in another ask forum, I'm s till rather a beginner here too. Potassium chlorate might be a little harder for me to find (doing this in a non-English country) but I am sure I could it. Any suggestions on the best ask-fora to aim for?
(Using my mobile, it is funky with curezone's funky old java script. )
Hi, I finished six months of chemo Adriamyacin and Cyto???, and Taxol 12 wks for breast cancer, Stage 2b, Grade 2, ER/PR + Her2 -. I have refused surgery and radiation, at this point. Have I set myself up for more trouble in the form of more aggressive cancer?? Should I have completed the conventional medical treatment? I just didn't feel like it was the right thing to do, so I doubt if I will continue on with it. I don't see the sense of destroying the very immune system I need to control this cancer.
What can I do to heal myself? I have ordered the Navarro Urine Test to tell me where my cancer cell count is, and plan on seeing a MD who treats from a more natural stance in a couple of weeks, who tests blood, hair, etc. He does not accept any insurance, so that makes it very tough for me. I can't work just now. His first consultation is $400.00 and $137.00 for any others plus tests (another $400-$600) and supplements & length of treatment (unknown amount). His name is Dr. Simon Yu in Saint Louis. Has anyone seen him before?
If I left something out, please ask.
Thanks so very much for your time.
Hi, I just visited Dr. Yu for the first time a couple of weeks ago with some health issues I was having. My chiropractor told me about him. I don't have much first hand experience or knowledge of him so I am not much help right now. I do hope you have good results. From his letters and information, he is very knowledgeable in the area of natural methods. Keep in touch with me and let me know how you do. I have my next appointment with him in a couple of weeks. He started me off with prescription antiparasite meds (2 different ones) and an herbal treatment for parasites. Using the meridian testing, he determined that my large intestine was weak and that would be from parasites. I am feeling alot better already after two weeks on the protocol he gave me. Plus I am using and going to use other protocols that I have learned about to be sure I get all those buggers! I don't know what we'll do next. He took hair samples for the hair analysis. I submitted the paperwork to Anthem but will be hopeful to get back 50% of my expenses.
I have been seeing Simon for 8 months. he has been telling me that dental is holding me back-he even said which tooth #17. He was right-big infection. We will see how taht helps my health but I would recommend him
