I'm doing the Andreas Mortiz liver flush. This is my first liver flush. I colon cleansed ( Oxypowder ) for a couple of days before day of flush, ate clean meals during these days, then yesterday, the actual day of the flush, I only had red beet juice in the morning to make sure my colon would still be clean. I did only use 2 1/2 tablespoons of Epsom Salt instead of the 4 recommended because I am on the thinner side (100lbs) and was a little scared from all the stories I read about ES. I also thought 2 1/2 tablespoons would be enough. I've never really had problems with bowel movements, I'm very regular.
So I took the first ES serving, then serving #2, and no bowel movement. Took the OO/GF mix, 6oz GF + 4oz OO, did everything as written in the book, still no movement. It is now 3:40am in the morning and still nothing... I don't feel horrible at all, how so many other people have described when they do the flush, just mainly very fatigued from not eating. My stomach and insides are making lots of grumbling noises too, and I feel some pressure inside. There's some small pains in my back/abdomen popping up here and there, but nothing that would disturb my sleep. I'm a light sleeper btw. Since drinking the OO/GF mix I do feel slightlyyy nauseous , but nothing that's making me run to throw up or anything. Could even be because I haven't eaten. Is this all normal? No sickness, no movements yet??
I REALLY want to take a few Oxypowder pills right now to get things going, is that okay to do during the flush? Every time I look this up, no where says anything about taking the pills during the actual flush, only before and after.... So can I take the oxy pills? I know this will for sure get me to go to the bathroom. I really don't want to do an enema, I've never done one, I'd prefer if I can to take the oxy pills
The liver will only flush properly if the digestive tract is in healthy balace (80% probiotic balance to 20% yeast). If this balance is not set, the liver won't detoxify properly. Please contact me for a Yeast Parasite Test kit which will show you your digestive balance. Best to do this simple test before trying another liver flush. Joshua http://www.jordanhealth.info
Okay, I caved and took the oxy pills afterwards. By 9am this morning things were flowing. Passed some weird stuff, and I think stones, not really sure. There were rice shape & size tan things, and I think some green stones, couldn't really tell much because dumb me had beet juice the morning of the flush... so everything was a dark red which made things hard to see. Overall, besides not going until the next morning, the whole process was super easy. Hopefully I did a successful first liver flush... ehh how do you know if the flush was successful?
I'm posting my story so that others may potentially benefit. Sorry this is so long. About three years ago, I started noticing an intermittent twinge-like pain under my right ribcage. Eventually I realized the problem was my gallbladder and I had an ultrasound which showed sludge.
I was advised to have surgery but opted not to because I wanted to keep my gallbladder. I read everything I could find. I tried many different things, so I am not sure what things helped most though I have some ideas. After about a year of trying various alternative approaches, I was still in pain, so I had another ultrasound. This new test showed no sludge. I also had a HIDA scan which produced a ejection fraction of 83%, which is high.
When I have a health problem, I approach it from the question, what is the underlying cause? In this case, one big clue is that women in their 40s are the most frequent sufferers of gallbladder problems. So why is THAT? This is my theory. I found scientific studies that showed that estrogen reduces gallbladder contraction. Women in their 40s are typically estrogen-dominant. I was certainly estrogen-dominant as I had my hormone levels tested several times during this period. So one of the things I did was to take a supplement designed to help the body detox excess estrogen. It is available from Raw Forest Foods (I have no association or connection with this company). This is something that one only needs to take for a short time. Read about estrogen dominance and how to detox from estrogen overload.
Another thing I did was to quit eating eggs. Eggs are the number one problem food for gallbladder sufferers. I also steered away from fats in general except for extra virgin coconut oil. WHY? Because coconut oil is a medium-chain fatty acid that is metabolized directly-it doesn't need to be emulsified by bile and isn't processed in the liver.
I also took a number of supplements including taurine and lecithin. See this post, which I think was key in my recovery (http://www.curezone.org/forums/am.asp?i=179234). I also took NAC some, but I think the taurine was more important. I also used apple cider vinegar. And I ordered some Chinese herbs from Sensible Health. I grew tons of beets and ate them all the time. I also took magnesium citrate. I started taking olive leaf extract every day too. And I did do maybe three liver flushes, but I don't think that these were necessary or helpful. In fact nothing really helped all that much until I addressed the estrogen dominance.
After awhile, I started to feel intuitively that I should massage the area around my GB. When I was in bed, I would take very deep breaths that I would exhale with a sigh. This is a yogic breathing technique. Sometimes I could feel my gallbladder relax and release-it felt like something squirting in that area. I would also press firmly on the area, pushing in on the exhale of a deep breath. After doing this for a couple of months, I realized that I no longer felt constant uncomfortable pressure in my gallbladder as I had before.
I still had pain though. I went through a tough period when my GB was overactive. I had diarrhea and food ran straight through me. So I then went on an elemental diet for a couple of months just to give my entire digestive system a rest. After this period of rest, I cautiously introduced solid foods again, focusing on a clean Paleo-type diet.
Every now and then I would still feel pain, but over time it became less intense and less frequent. Now I am completely pain free and can sit down and eat a plate of bacon with no issue (not that I do so very often).
I believe that my gallbladder became stagnant from estrogen dominance. Once I corrected the estrogen dominance, I was able to use supplements to dissolve the sludge (apple cider vinegar, lecithin, and taurine seemed key). Massage and yoga also helped get things moving, but at first everything was moving too fast, the GB was overactive. But over time that calmed down.
I believe that I saved my gallbladder, in spite of what doctors will say. It took two years but now I am fine. I still don't eat eggs and I do stick to a very clean Paleo diet. Like I said, I am not sure which things I did helped the most, but in the end I still have my gallbladder. And I also have objective proof that I cleared the sludge from my gallbladder. So if you are suffering from this problem don't give up!
I'll add another cure that will stop the Gallstones attack in 5-10mins. 3-4 big glasses of water( not juice, not coke, not coffee etc just pure wholesome water) n a pinch of salt on the tongue. Drink it consecutively. Lemme know if it helps or not.
Btw I eat at the least 4 eggs per day, drink beer regularly on the weekends n consume lotsa fatty foods. I started getting Gallstones attack past 2years n was due for surgery until I did about 15 Liver Flushes BUT the one that totally took care of the pain was drinking 10 to 16 glasses of water per day.
Now I don't get these attacks unless I am dehydrated n didn't drink enough water. Go read on http://www.watercure.com on research done by Dr Batmanghelidj.
Hi sorry to be so late in responding. It took a year to clear the sludge, but after the sludge was clear my gallbladder was still irritated. I went on a liquid elemental diet for awhile and that calmed things down. After I was better I made the mistake of thinking I could eat anything again-WRONG! So now I am going through the healing process all over again. One thing I think is that gluten is a major irritant for people with gallbladder problems. I find that things go better if I avoid gluten and dairy. Good luck to you!
Please help. I did the andreas motifs protocol and in the middle of the night I had shooting pains in my right back. This was Wednesday night almost a week ago. The shooting pains stopped but my gallbladder aches and is sore and hurts. I don't know what to do. I was thinking of ordering super phos 30 to soften stones again or do Dr Schulze liver cleanse. I need to do something. I haven't eaten much, only raw food and smoothies. Thank you so much.
