I thought i should start a thread for people who suffer PRIMARILY from strong anal fecal odor after a bowel movement. It seems like those of us that have been able to connect our strong anal fecal odor with having a bowel movement have a harder time getting rid of our odor problem, while those that believe that their fecal odor is coming from all over their bodies and having a bowel movement doesnt worsen their odor get easily healed. Perhaps those of us with strong anal fecal odor are at the worst phase of this fecal odor condition. So what is responsible for our strong anal fecal odor which is worsened by having a bowel movement? Surfer27 and Dxcvb1, do u have a scar on your forehead or other parts of your body caused by accidents, blow, surgery, etc? I heard that scars lead to digestive problems. Surfer27, are you from Africa? Has any of you experience stomach pain or painful/burning urination? Did you used to drink coke or other sweet drinks that has a lot of high fructose corn syrup? Do you guys suffer from feelings of incomplete evacuation? Abused antibiotics? If you think your problem is caused by candida, please explain your lifestyle habits that led to this candida overgrowth. Hopefully we can identify why we are at the worst point of fecal odor abnormality syndrome.
Hey Fecal Odor,
Surfer27 here. Yeah, in response to your text, I haven't had any kinds of accident physically. I also have been tested for candida and it came back negative. Yeah, it constantly feels like, even when I am fully evacuated, that my bowel muscles don't seem to want to close, just my speculation at this point. I also notice, that even when I am fully evacuated and do an enema to clean out everything, that I still notice this fecal odor, which smells like a dirty diaper or like feces. In regards to the coke thing, I have stopped drinking these sugar, frutose drinks and after quitting for 5 months, I still didn't notice any kind of a difference. I also got tested for hemorrhoids, anal fissures, fistualas, STD's and Heavy Metals and all the tests but the Heavy Metals came back as normal, so I don't know what's the problem????? I have already taken a heavy metal cleanse, to cleanse my body of the heavy metals like mercury and lead, but I still haven't noticed even the slightest difference. It was suggested, from some of the members on curezone, that 1) I try bathing in bathwater for 30 minutes with some Bentonite clay and 2) trying some betaine hcl, since one member, said that it helped him with his fecal body odors and it helped lessen it quite abit. I don't know, if it will work for me but I am willing to try this out, since I still have some outs to try, before I fully give up. I am currently, just trying to stay positive and upbeat, despite this horrible, body condition that I have no control over. It'd be great to hear from you!! Feel free to send me a text, here on Curezone or if you want, feel free to email me, at: email@example.com. Okay, I will talk to you later. Take care. Bye.
Thanks for responding Surfer27. Ok at this point it seems what we do have in common apart from the strong anal fecal odor (worsened by having a bowel movement) is feelings of incomplete evacuation. I heard that feelings of incomplete evacuation can be caused by heavy metal like mercury. I also think parasite infestation can cause incomplete evacuation feeling but Im not sure. Have u tested for parasites? And who told u that you dont have candida or heavy metal - is it a Naturopathic doctor? Mercury is hard to detect and remove from the body because it hides within the tissue and you may need to go to a naturopath to do a urine test after he/she first intravenously chelates you. Intravenous chelation is the best way to remove mercury, and after you do the first chelation you'll start peeing out the hidden mercury in your tissue. This is now a good time to do a urine test for mercury. By the way, do u have nightmares a lot? Another sign of Mercury.
Mercury and candida usually cohabit. Do you have facial odor? The fact that having a bowel movement increases our anal odor is proof positive that somes kind of bacteria or fungi is responsible for the odor. Mere wiping with tissue paper after a bowel movement wont kill the bacteria/fungi brought on the anus-surface by the bowel movement: This is why we smell worse after a bowel movement. The fungi/bacteria involved must be turning the contents of our fecal matter into gas. The only thing that removed my fecal odor completely is when I overdosed on fennel seed. Fennel seed mildly inhibits candida. But I started to experience loud gas sounds in public, and that's why I stopped overdosing on fennel seed. Some people say their odor reduce if they take Goldenseal Cayenne pepper (another antifungi which inhibits candida). Odor Cleanse helps some people a little if taken daily. The manufacturers of Odor Cleanse claim that it contains mushroom, and the way the mushrooms help to remove odor in the intestine is that the mushroom bind to food particules in the colon, neutralizing their smell. But do you want to know the truth? Ive heard that mushrooms have some antifungal properties against candida. So why is it that these supplements with antifungal properties have helped somewhat with the fecal odor problem? And by the way I also heard that too much gas in the intestine can make someone feel like they constantly have to use the bathroom - feelings of incomplete evacuation. Candida is said to break down contents of fecal matter and turn them into gas. Which kind of doctor said you tested negative for candida and mercury - is it a naturopath? Lastly did u ever have a big stomach? I heard big stomach is a sign/causes liver problem.
Hey Fecal Odor,
Surfer27 here. I did receive your text. So, one question for you. What is your real name anyways? My name is Ryan Annunziello. Anyways, in regards to your questions, I got tested from a naturopathic for candida and that came back negative, however I made a mistake. About the heavy metals, my naturopath said, I tested positive for elevated levels of lead and mercury in my body. I did do a urine test for heavy metals and got it sent down to the States and within 2 weeks, the tests came back as normal for heavy metals in my body. I have already done a heavy metal cleanse, using chlorella, but noticed even after taking it, that it made no difference whatsoever, to my fecal body odor. In response to the nightmare question, no, I don't have nightmares at all anymore. Last time I had a nightmare, was when I was 8yrs old. I had never been tested for parasites, but on the advice of helpmerhonda on curezone, I had ordered some humaworm for parasite problems and took it for 3 months and even after doing this, I still didn't notice a chance in my fecal body odors. In response to what you have mentioned for you, I have tried it all and none of those products have helped me one bit. I have taken the goldenseal, the odor cleanse, the cayenne pepper caps and nothing helped my problem. I am thinking though, of trying the betaine hcl, which I have researched online through Google. It has helped some with fecal odor. I don't know if this person's body odor was gas and they classified this as fecal body odor, but intestinal gas isn't fecal body odor, as both you and I know. The only other thing I can mention to you Fecal Odor, is looking into Homeopathic Bowel Nosode remedy through Google, based on what you brought up with me, about this possibly being a bacterial problem. This is where Betaine HCL, can come in handy as, it can help with Small Intestinal Bowel Order (SIBO Disease). Anyways, if you get this, get back to me if you can, preferrably by sending me a texted post here on Curezone. Thanks. Talk to you later. Take care.
Hi Ryan. Im going to send u a private message with my name and tell u a discovery I made which I dont wonna post here cuz my account may get deleted. Anyway i cant believe the opdor cleanse didnt have an impact on your odor whatsoever. How many odor cleanse capsules were u taking daily? Tell me something, r u able to smell the odor yourself or you just rely on the reaction of others? Also, do u also smell like any food u've just eaten, or its just a strong fecal smell? Well someone here told me that their naturopath said fecal odor is caused by mercury, while some naturopath I emailed believe it is solely due to the liver not secreting enough enzymes. Some guy was able to correct his fecal odor by getting his liver fixed by a naturopath and another guy says he's 99% cured cuz he got treated for "pancreatic insufficiency" (liver).
My husband had extremely foul bowel movements and the smell was coming through his skin continuously. Vile. Sometimes I'd leave the house it was that bad. Gag-worthy. I was constantly changing the towels and sheets and pillow cases. Anyway, I bought something for candida and gave it to him and within a few weeks the odor was gone. Curezone with their weird rules will not allow me to say the name since I sell the product. Who wouldn't? It fixed my daughter's life-long bowel problems and his stench. We're all happier now, lol.
Chlorophyll is likely helpful too for the odor but it will not address the underlying cause.
hi i am at my wits end with this syndrome and i am actualy considering suicide because of it and i would appreciate it if you could let me know what you did to get rid of it please. my email address is firstname.lastname@example.org i dont have the life should i be living and and i am completely alone in life so i need any help you can offer. thanx
I am sorry to hear how distressed you are - I assume you are talking about fecal body odor?
You do not give much detail about when it started, what your diet is like, what tests you have undergone, or methods tried.
Please do not think of suicide - over the past couple of weeks I have been astounded by the success stories I have seen, as an example:
Two people found that their problem related to their wisdom teeth. Apparently if you have impacted wisdom teeth bacteria gets stored and even when you mouth is closed it can be smelled 10 feet away. Is you wisdom teeth ok?? You can google about this and you will see quite a few stories.
Another person had success when he ran out of his acid reflux medication - the smell stopped instantly - he had not associated the odour with this.
Another person went on a very strict candida diet for 6 months, living mostly on green juices with algae, etc, and he is now odour free.
A female recently posted saying she had been taking rhubarb root, ginger tea with lemon, fruit and probiotics and her odour went away.
Everyone has a different reascon for their odour and you need to try to identify what might be the cause of your underlying odour.
Also have you tried different websites such as
Body Odor Support
They have a section on success stories.
Please do not give up hope - I also suffer with fbo, but after reading other people's success it certainly gave me hope.
It's Ryan Annunziello here. Hey man, I haven't heard from ya in awhile!! How are things going? Is your situation with fecal body odor improving, or are things staying the same? I noticed your text about the vitaminC 1000mg a day helping! Is this Vitamin C helping to get rid of your fecal bdoy odor? Lastly, since I know that your situation and mine are almost exactly alike, I thought I'd share this! Okay, so I was doing abit of an experiment with myself and found out, that when I put someone small like a sqeeze dropper tube into my rectum slowly, that when I took it out, it smelled really, really bad. Don't worry, I didn't stick it in all the way, only about 1cm or 3 cm in. This is what I noticed. When I took it out, I smelt really funky like! Like I still had some cleaning up to do, even though I fully evacuated! Weird huh? Anyhow, so I've now come to the conclusion that, this problem has to be coming from my skin area!! Now the biggest challenge for me, will be to figure out, how I can cleanse the skin area of my rectum good enough, so this fecal body odor stench starts to dissapate! Have you come across any other ideas, to help with this? Also, have you looked into the homeopathic formula RectoRex Balm or RectoRex Drops, for healing the sensitive areas of the skin? Anyways, if you go to: http://www.nativeremedies.com,
there you'll find the RectoRex Drops and Balm cream, to help heal the skin and delicate surrounding tissues of the anus. I just thought I'd mention this, as I am in the same kinda boat as you!! If you decide to purchase this, please let me know okay and share your output on the situation!! Okay gotta go, but have a good weekend and I'll talk to you later! Take care and may God bless you my friend!
99% success J

Whenever my poo smells like shit (LOL) I cen tell I will find candida in the toilet and inviriably I look and I see some. Whenever I fart and get that smell, I do an enma to let the yeast out.
'Has any of you experience stomach pain or painful/burning urination?'
Well yes many of us, indeed.
'If you think your problem is caused by candida, please explain your lifestyle habits that led to this candida overgrowth.'
I believe I grew up in a house with lead in the paint or else in the plumbing. I had problems in my youth (which antibiotic would not solve ) and antibiotics made them return. I used to have poor eating habits. I used to have Amalgams with mercury (many of them).
Hi there Jahn, thanks for responding. Do you also suffer from a strong anal fecal odor which worsens after a bowel movement? And concerning the burning/painful urination and pain in the stomach, do you feel that this pain is triggered by drinking something too sweet like soda? Lastly Jahn, do u have scars on any part of ur body, especially your forehead? Quantum physics believe that scars caused by accidents, blow, surgery cause stomach pain, painful urination, liver problem....
Burning sensation when urinating is an inflammation.
Plus all the other symptoms you have mentioned are very similar to candida (you'd need to further address them to make sure). And YES candida is fed by Sugar and drinking soda would cause these symptoms. Actually the first step of the candida treatment is to go on the candida diet= no sweet (not even fruit is some cases) no carbohydrates (grain) but buckwheat, millet, quinoa, brown rice.
Scars! In result of acne? IF so it could also be due to candida.
bad smelling feces - the food in the gut is putrifying because you can't digest/adsorb the animal protein eaten. Not only are you producing skatoles which is normal but are producing mercaptols and hydrogen sulfide gas. Most gas we pass doesn't come out in poops but seeps out over time - so the odor stays with you. Also you may have a slight fecal incontinence so you may not only be leaking gas but are leaking feces. The cure is getting your digestive system working better so that your proteins won't putrify in your gut. Eating less meats and other foods with animal fats and protein may help. Also taking lots of fiber (oat bran, flax seed meal) mixed with meals will help to normalize your bile pool and keep the food moving through more rapidly. Putrification is a different process than fermentation. Food in our gut ferments when we can't digest and adsorb the carbohydrates we eat.
Body odor - Mercaptans are secreted by the sweat (apocrine) glands all over your body but are concentrated in the arm pits and feet. We have a secondary detox system in addition to the liver which uses sulfur containing amino acids to clear out toxins from the body. The end products are mercaptans which we sweat out. To me this smells more like cat spray which contains a mercaptan similar to the skatoles in feces. This smell is a sign that your liver is unable to detox the pollutants in your body so you need to find ways to pry the pollutants out and help you regain liver detox function. Certain sulfur containing foods such as alliums (garlic, onions), asparagus and others will make you smell more but are beneficial because they help the detox process.
Body odor and foot odor are made worse by bacteria which also produce mercaptans so washing and special soaps may help. I can tell when I have toxins building up and this happens especially when I have eaten commercially prepared food. If I eat garlic the next day I notice the bad smell in my armpits.
I used to do sweat baths to get toxins out of my body. I would run a bath as hot as I could stand it and turn on the heater. While the bath was running I would exercise and work up a sweat then sit in the bath and sweat more, then get out and exercise more while adding more hot water to the tub, then repeat until I got tired. I also took various supplements like thiotic (lipoic) acid, milk thistle, Clark's liver support tea to mention a few. I ate food I prepared myself and avoided connercially prepared foods although there were a few I could eat without stinking. I cleaned up my enviroment - a lot of commercial products went out the door and started Clark's parasite program, kidney cleanses and liver flushes. Most of my filings in my teeth were replaced by non metal.
This has worked quite well as I only notice a bad body odor occasionally. I have Celiac sprue so any time I eat too much meat or animal protein the food putrifies in my gut.
1. Buy an ozone generator. Dr. Katz has one for about $120. Drink ozonated water on an empty stomach every morning and evening.
2. Go on a STRICT anti-candida diet (NO SUGAR, NO WHITE FLOUR, NO YEAST, NO VINEGAR, NO FRUIT!!!!!)
3. Take probiotics (vegetarian)
4. Do enemas with ozonated water everyday for a while
5. Take ozonated baths
6. Exercise (SWEAT, SWEAT, SWEAT) infrared sauna
7. Drink 8-10 glasses of clean water
9. Eat certified organic
10. Take anti-fungals and anti-parasitic herb (pau d'arco, red clover flower, burdock root, etc. Alternating each week.
11. Buy a zapper an sleep with it to remove parasites
12. If you feel you have low stomach acid take Zypan by Standard Process with each meal.
13. Visualize yourself as healthy and happy
Thanks for your responses everyone. Desporadonyc5, Howz ur chelation going: do you feel its helping with your scalp odor? Those are very good suggestions you have there Desporadonyc5 but my only problem with ozone is that its not FDA approved due to fears that it causes cancer. I wonder if there could be more insight from anyone here as to how safe/unsafe ozone really is. And someone has mentioned to me that non of the anti-candida stuff had an impact on their anal fecal odor watsoever. And the person did hint that they may have sustained an injury in the rectal area. Ive also heard about other cases where anal fecal odor was brought about due to fistulae as a result of irritation/injury in the anal, rectal region. So how many of you have not had any success with any anti_candida stuff and believe you may have fistulae?
Unless one has a fistulae in the anal-rectal region, I believe toxins are responsible for anal fecal odor. Whether the toxin is from candida, mercury or any other source, as long as your liver is sensitive enough to be impaired by the toxins, anal fecal odor occurs. That's probably why we all dont test positive for candida yet still have strong anal fecal odor. Try and find the source of your toxin. Remove the source of toxicity. I also have strong facial odor and someone got rid of facial odor with just liver flushes
Surfer27 here. I have read a couple of your texts and wanted to point out one thing, that I think might help, if you have Candida Albicans. It's called White Oak Bark. It's a all natural remedy, that's suppose to help with the intestines and any bacteria problems within the body. Just thought, I'd pass this on to you. Check it out, by googling. You might be interested in this health remedy. Talk to you later. God bless.
Hello there Surfer27. I am in my late 30's and I have most of the symptoms that you have mentioned. Scar on my forehead...all of the above. I am at my wits end. I have spend several thousands of dollars on herbs, spices, organic foods, doctors visits(which is a waste of time cause they all tell me the smell nothing and its all in my head) Iridologists, conventional and alternative meds. Juiced fruits and veggies for over 12 years, gave up read meat and pork over 15 years ago, barely consume breads, no dairy products, etc. At one point I was even a vegetarian. Got all the silver fillings removed from my mouth, cleanse at least two to three times a year, fast regularly, Lemonade Diet , taken cayenne pepper on a regular, milk thistle, colonics twice a week, etc. You name it I have done it and to no avail...NOTHING HAS GOTTEN RID OF THIS ODOR!!!!Can anyone help
Mike if you still get this message. What is the "heavy metal chelation mixture" you used in the mix with PRL denti medi clay, HCL caps, and green tea extract? Also who was the naturopath who helped you with this process? Feel free to pm me if you'd rather not post their name. Thank you!
The way I use clay is to prepare a very thick viscous hydrated clay magma that has the physical consistency similar to molasses. I put an equivalent of around two tablespoons inside the mouth and use my tongue to swish the clay all around the inside of the mouth including all areas of the teeth and gums and under the tongue. Let is sit there for around 20 -30 minutes, spit it out and gargle with clean water so that you do not swallow the clay as by now, the clay will have picked up toxins, bacteria and negative energies from all over the mouth and tongue and throat areas
I get my from my Naturopath. The brand is "Premier Research". The dental clay is "Zeolite" I think. The clay on the skin is a mixture of several things, including Pascalite, some herbs, and volcanic ash.
I've never heard of clay packs, and only recently of clay baths.
But I have a full case of Pascalite. (Grin!)
I used small poultices of it on a major bark (scrape) on my lower shin, that destroyed a bundle of muscles.
All I did was mix a fairly firm consistancy in my palm, and put it on the wound when in baths, a few times. That was scary because the wound was open, and seeping a bit of pale or darkish blood, etc., from time to time.
Turns out there was no need to worry because the wound had formed a solid 'donut' of hard flesh around it to prevent the flow of infection. This happened on the 10th day when the wound suddenly lost its indented appearance.
The pain was intense, and I FINALLY learned to keep it elevated, just going to bed and sleeping whenever I could. (Bless my husband who cooked dark green soups for me, and got me walking devices.)
Several people suggested Traumeel ointment, but the label reminds us not to use it on an open wound because of the Arnica. However I didn't read that part until later.
I found that the Pascalite poultices, which melted quite slowly into the bathwater, dried the surface of the wound noticeably, leaving a white spot which later hardened into a scab. At first I thought this was 'matter' indicating infection.
This was a long-time healing kind of an injury...a 6 to 8 weeker, according to the the doctor who sewed up my nose. (I went a__ over teakettle onto my face when trying to use a wheeled walker as a scooter, but that's another story.)
My own doctor (who was trying to get me to believe I am pre-diabetic) had sneered at the leg wound, pronounced it 'infected', and prescribed antibiotics. I took them all, but the wound never was infected and has healed well. I've even felt a sudden prickling of returning nerve function, after several months. The 'donut' and edema disappeared in their own good time, once I learned to stay in bed most of the time. (That's so boring!)
I write this story here in case anyone else has to face this kind of injury without medical assistance. I'd suggest going to a bigger physiotherapy clinic. They know all kinds of ways to manage home nursing, and they recognize the severity of injuries and the stages of recovery.
This is my first time on this forum. I'll look for more info on clay packs, and how to make/use them. I'll also seek info on Premier Research.
The two sites about clay baths that I have read so far, each display different cautions and suggestions...one about the naturally-occurring aluminum content. The other got into ion-exchange, with the heat of a bath, and suggested a minimum of 4 pounds (as opposed to the one cup of the first site).
Mixed A LOT of vinegar and clay together and left it on my face for 30 minutes.
After 20 minutes I felt light-headed and started hearing white noise in my ears.
I just shrugged it off and went to sleep.
Next day morning, I experienced the following:
1. Extreme brain fog (i couldn't even read)
2. Detatchment from reality (as if i was drunk)
3. Poor sense of balance
4. Migraine and confusion
5. Blurry/Tunnel Vision
6. Sensitivity to light
It was so severe I had to postpone two of my exams that week.
The symptoms have slightly gotten better as of now but they still persist and with some added symptoms:
1. lightheadedness when i laugh or get angry
2. irregular heart beats
Anyone know what's going on with me? I seriously cannot live like this.
I know that Bentonite clay has some detox effects and it may cause healing crisis symptoms, but this is just too much. I went to the doctor and she did a blood test and etc. she says that she couldn't find any irregularities except for a slightly active liver and that i'm a bit dehydrated.
Ok, after going from doctor to doctor for 2 months all clueless with negative test results (MRI, hearing tests, blood tests etc.)
i think my acupuncturist doctor cracked my problem. He thinks it was gas poisoning from the checmical reaction between the vinegar and the Bentonite clay powder(which is made from volcanic ashes).
It makes sense because the first two times I tried mixing them together I actually added water. Thus, it made the reaction much weaker. But on the third time I tried, I did not add water, making the chemical reaction much more stronger and releasing more gas. When you mix the two together the mixture gets very bubbly, so it seems very plausible.
He had a patient who almost died to carbon monoxide gas poisoning and told him my exact symptoms after he woke up from a 3 day coma.
He has given me instructions to drink lots of water (2 liters a day), do plenty of cardio, eat white radishes, and also a prescription of stuff that's supposed to detox my body. Hopefully this works out, because my life has been miserable since that incident.
This made me realize that a lot of doctors are narrow-minded and do not try to see outside of their expertise, either because they lack knowledge and experience or are straight-up lazy. Do background checks on doctors because they really do make a difference when it comes to diagnosis.
I have done some cleanses using USP grade Bentonite internally and it really pulls toxins out of your system. Many people combine it with psyllium husk to help move things through the intestines more efficiently. I have also had good success using Sea Salt as an internal cleanse. You can do baths with Sea Salt and Bentonite but your results may not be as good as internal cleanses. Both Cleanses below:
Then add a bit of cold water, (pure or filtered water) to make a paste. Fill glass up with water, stir. Drink quickly before it turns into oatmeal. Chase with another glass of water.
Day 1: Start with one drink in the morning upon waking. Keep a bottle of warm water by your side and drink lots in the morning with or without lemon juice to get your bowels started, naturally.
Day 2 and on: Basically, everyone is different. Some people can jump right in and within a few days be taking 4 B&P drinks a day. Others need to go slowly..starting with one for a few days...see how their bowels move...then add another one last thing before bed. The goal is to get up to between 3 and 5 a day.
Your first Bowel Cleanse using B&P's can be done for up to 6 months for your first bowel cleanse. You can eat normally, but well, during the Bowel Cleanse with Bentonite and Psyllium and get out lots of mucoid plaque. It's best to try to avoid mucoid-forming foods...meats, white bread, sugar, dairy.
The Key: is to drink the B&P drinks on an empty stomach. You must not eat for one hour before taking the drink and one hour after drinking the drink. That is very important. The Bentonite Clay needs to absorb toxins and the Psyllium husks need to scrub out the corners of your intestines all by themselves. Food will inturrupt their work!
One must drink lots of warm water while doing the B&P bowel cleanse - to ensure that you don't get constipated. Remember that warm water stimulates peristalsis (the bowels) and cold water doesn't. Drink at least 2 litres of warm water a day...or half your body weight in ounces per day.
While doing this cleanse it is helpful to imagine that with each elimination you're having you're getting rid of any old outworn, un-needed thoughts, ideas, feelings...
A little information about Bentonite Clay:
Bentonite is known for its highly absorptive properties and its ability to draw out and bind heavy metals, drugs and other toxins from the body. This clay has been used for thousands of years as both an internal and external purification aid.
Bentonite is one of the volcanic ashes. It is not a drug or chemical composition made in a laboratory. It is a product of Mother Earth. Bentonite in ages past was blown into the sky by volcanic action, which sifted down to help impregnate the soil with its 25 to 35 trace minerals. Bentonite, under a high-power microscope, is seen as extremely minute rectangular particles, similar in shape to a business card. When hydrated, it generates and maintains a very strong electromagnetic field, which allows it to attract and hold unwanted , non-nutritive substances such as pesticides and other toxins so that they can be eliminated from the body.
Sea Salt Flush
Have you heard of the sea salt flush? Some likened it to be a toilet flush since it is a process of removing waste products. Naturopathic practitioners recommend taking a sea salt flush to help in the removal of toxins and waste from the digestive tract. A sea salt flush is an alternative treatment to taking harsh and commercial medications for digestive complaints such as constipation, gas and bloating. The sea salt flush acts as a laxative to assist the body in achieving for new and positive changes.
The sea salt flush is essentially a combination of sea salt and warm water. Sea salt is preferred for cleansing as compared to normal processed salt due to its rich minerals. A sea salt flush is capable of drawing out impurities from your digestive tract as well as provide you with the necessary electrolytes that you find hard to obtain from your normal diet.
Do note that a sea salt flush is not everyone. Those suffering from ulcers, cancer, or digestive illnesses should not jump into it. Instead they should carefully research this cleansing method carefully and consult their doctor before proceeding. Additionally, if you suffer from severe constipation, try to use a herbal laxative one or two days before starting on the sea salt water flush.
Here is the recipe. Simply combine 2 teaspoons of unrefined sea salt with 2 quarts of warm water. You may add lemon juice to make the drink more palatable. This drink is also best taken in the morning at 7 in the morning, when you awake. Consider doing some deep breathing exercises while taking the sea salt water.
You can do the sea salt flush for 3 days. Some experts recommend up to 7 days.
You can expect to see some benefits, perhaps not immediately but after two to three days. Your intestines are cleansed and you find yourself having an uplift in your moods due to renewed energy. You may also see improvements in respiratory and sinus functions. In fact, the sea salt cleanse is also a common folk remedy for colds or as a natural antihistamine. It is also possible to stabilize the heart rate and relieve muscle pain since the process also balances electrolytes. Other indirect benefits from the sea salt flush include reduced body odor fresher breath, and improved skin complexion.
Why not the powdered? I bought the Liquid bentonite/powdered psyllium before I read your post as I have done these cleanse long before but I remember who icky they where. I gagged trying to drink the mixture in the morning as I am nauseaous about every morning which doesnt make it easy.
Just curious why are the clay baths not as effective. What if you have a lot of heavy metals? Can they be removed through the gut. Does the pull of the Bentonite taken internally remove metals from brain, etc etc...
Just curious why you say its not as effective?
Thanks so much for your help. No Mucoid Plaque yet in fact still kinda loosely formed light colored stools. I guess I will take another shake this evening.
The baths are good, I just think it takes longer to pull out the heavy metals that way. The Bentonite can work over a much longer period of time, possibly 24hrs or more, as it passes through the digestive tract so you get more bang for your buck. Also it is a lot of work and a messy job to clean up these mud baths.
PS After I did a salt water flush a couple of weeks ago I felt much clearer mentally and physically. My vision also seemed a bit sharper.
The baths aren't only good. The baths are Very Good.
I both take clay internally And do the clay baths. In my experience both are beneficial, but it is the clay baths that may help your body release toxins by the truckload and more so than juse eating the clays.
Go to eytonsearth.org and look under clay baths to see intsructions on how to go about doing these.
I use both internal and external clay.
They both work very well at helping eliminate junk from the system.
For me weakness and fatigue definetly lessened dramatically after several baths and several bowel cleanses. Especially after bowel cleanse.
I could not tell you what was in that black sludge at the end of the bath, but I can tell you it became less with each bath. Now I only do the bath on occasion and will pull out black junk again and take another bath til it lessens or is gone. Great tool to have to help us stay on track.
I found they easiet way for me to clean out the tub of most of the clay was with a dust pan and hand broom. sweep it up and dump it in a buck for removal. Then just rinse out the left over little bits. Little bits wont hurt anything. Especially if followed with plenty of water.
Either way you choose to use it, you win.
Best to you on your healing journey.
The stuff is great, works like a champ, although not super fast. It's gentle and effective both internally and externally.
USP grade clay, ehhhh, not a big fan. I prefer naturally deep mined clay. Wyoming Sodium Bentonite swells... however.... it is a primary clay. This means it is still sitting where the volcanic ash dropped it 750 million years ago...give or take a week or two. It is clean, with no organic or microbal activity. Calcium Bentonite doesn't swell as much, and seems to be preferred by most.... however, it is a secondary clay that has migrated hundreds of miles by fresh waterways. It generally has other organic substances that it picked up along the way and grains of silica sand. USP grade is chelated and cooked, and while it will still adsorb, it's nature has been altered, and it is no longer the same clay that Native Americans and animals use. In fact, if you put a pile of USP calcium bentonite out, and some natural bentonite, animals will lick at the natural clay and disdain the USP grade. I have actually done this, as I have 3 types of bentonite, and 2 types of Montmorillonite in stock most of the time, and I live in a swamp full of wild animals, parrots, and all kinds of stuff. (Florida... EVERYTHING thrives here).
I personally prefer Sodium Bentonite for internal use. It does swell, but at a spoonfull per 8 oz of water, it's already fully hydrated when you ingest it, so it's fully swollen and it's a bit slimier, and goes through easily. I also think it tastes better.. (it all tastes kinda like dirt, but it has an earthier taste than calcium types and it isn't terribly unpleasant.)
I like calcium bentonite for external uses such as wraps and scrubs. The silica can be a nice exfoliate if it isn't sharp. For baths, I like a mix of both.
My protocols for the Bentonite detox is to take a Dead Sea Salt bath first, then Drain the tub and use Bentonite. The Dead Sea Salt seems to bring the toxins up closer to the surface of the skin. Baths will not detox you completely, it's mostly, a tissue thing. Internal use will remove toxins and chelate the blood and tissues, however, it won't happen overnight. My fastest internal detox is a 14 day, and I actually recommend a 28 day system. I use Green and Red Argiletz Montmorillonite with bentonite for body wraps, sodium and calcium in the tub, and sodium and green montmorillonite internally. The internal aspect is done in stages, Week one is getting your body accustomed to the clay, and I also have D.E mixed in to clear simple parasites from the GI tract. Week 2 has more bentonite added to the mix and no more DE. Week 3 introduces Montmorillonite, Psyllium Husks, and Bentonite, Week 4 is basically the same with increased clay. Body wraps are also very effective, and have the added bonus of losing a few inches, and tightening the skin up.
I think that you need both internal and external to get the full benefit.
By all means use USP grade if you are uncomfortable with using natural clays. It has a lot of benefits if not all the trace minerals. Also the Argiletz French Montmorillonite I was talking about is the best of both worlds. It's actuall all natural sun dried clay, certified as USP without baking the crap out of it.
Sounds like you know quite a bit about bentonite... Can you address the issue of aluminum in Bentonite clay and how to avoid it?
Also, I have Morgellons lesions on my scalp. I did talk to someone who said she got rid of hers by green montmorillonite, I believe.. do you have any recommendation on this? Morgellons is so far different from anything else on the planet, so if you don't know much about it, that's ok. But there are parasites, plastic and as much as I pick at the lesions to get rid of the plastic fibers (and it's painful), they regenerate incredibly fast (robbing my body of needed minerals, I'm sure). There's also a biofilm issue, so that one side of the largest lesions is level with the scalp, but the other half of the lesion (shaped like a volcano) seems to offer much protection to whatever it is that's definitely alive and reproducing. I've noticed that I can keep the inside of the volcano cleared out, but the more aggressive I am with trying to rid myself of what's under the biofilm surrounding the edge, there seems to be a creeping outward to protect itself (at a glacial pace), so there's something I'm not doing right. Any comment from you would be greatly appreciated.
I don't have it, but I have been to a support meeting in Tampa, and I am a member on a popular forum.
Bentonite and Montmorillonite are Alumina/Silica by nature.
That is without these in abundance, it ceases to be Bentonite.
As far as I can tell, and from what I have read, the aluminum isn't transferred, because it is part of what causes the magnetic attraction. The Silica/Aluminum part is what forms the plate network at the molecular level, that causes the clay to attract and bind toxins.
Now I'm not a chemist, or a mineral expert...
I sell a few products and I do research on them before I market them. I'm not the authoritative voice on this.
I can suggest a site eytonsearth.com They are very knowledgeable on different Bentonites and have an extensive article library, and are not so much a site for sales as info, although they do have a product.
A VOLCANIC DETOXIFIER—Bentonite, a medicinal powdered clay which is also known as montmorillonite, derives from deposits of weathered volcanic ash.
It is one of the most effective natural intestinal detoxifying agents available and has been recognized as such for centuries by native peoples around the world. Whatever the name, liquid clay contains minerals that, once inside the gastrointestinal tract, are able to absorb toxins and deliver mineral nutrients to an impressive degree, says Knishinsky. Liquid clay is inert which means it passes through the body undigested.
Technically, the clay first adsorbs toxins (heavy metals, free radicals, pesticides), attracting them to its extensive surface area where they adhere like flies to sticky paper; then it absorbs the toxins, taking them in the way a sponge mops up a kitchen counter mess.
There is an electrical aspect to bentonite’s ability to bind and absorb toxins. According to Yerba Prima, a company based in Ashland, Oregon, which markets Great Plains® Bentonite, the clay’s minerals are negatively charged while toxins tend to be positively charged; hence the clay’s attraction works like a magnet drawing metal shavings. But it’s even more involved than that.
Once hydrated (combined with water), Bentonite has an enormous surface area. According to Yerba Prima, a single quart bottle can represent a total surface area of 960 square yards or 12 American football fields. Bentonite is made of a great number of tiny platelets, with negative electrical charges on their flat surfaces and positive charges on their edges.
When bentonite absorbs water and swells, it is stretched open like a highly porous sponge; the toxins are drawn into these spaces by electrical attraction and bound fast. In fact, according to the Canadian Journal of Microbiology (31 , 50-53), bentonite can absorb pathogenic viruses, aflatoxin (a mold), and pesticides and herbicides including Paraquat and Roundup. The clay is eventually eliminated from the body with the toxins bound to its multiple surfaces.
According to Sonne’s Organic Foods of North Kansas City, Missouri, a company that markets Detoxificant (a liquid montmorillonite), “There is no evidence that bentonite has any chemical action in the body. Its power is purely physical.”
Clay’s adsorptive and absorptive qualities may be the key to its multifaceted healing abilities. Knishinsky reports that drinking clay helped him eliminate painful ganglion cysts (tumors attached to joints and tendons, in his case, in his wrist) in two months, without surgery.
According to Knishinsky, benefits reported by people using liquid clay for a period of two to four weeks include: improved intestinal regularity; relief from chronic constipation, diarrhea, indigestion, and ulcers; a surge in physical energy; clearer complexion; brighter, whiter eyes; enhanced alertness; emotional uplift; improved tissue and gum repair; and increased resistance to infections. “Clay works on the entire organism. No part of the body is left untouched by its healing energies,” he notes.
A medical study by Frederic Damrau, M.D., in 1961 (Medical Annals of the District of Columbia) established clearly that bentonite can end bouts of diarrhea. When 35 individuals (average age 51) suffering from diarrhea took two tablespoons of bentonite in distilled water daily, the diarrhea was relieved in 97% (34 of the 35 patients) in 3.8 days, regardless of the original cause of the problem (allergies, virus infection, spastic colitis, or food poisoning). According to Dr. Damrau, bentonite is “safe and highly effective” in treating acute diarrhea.
Knishinsky’s research suggests that the regular intake of liquid clay (typically one to three tablespoons daily, in divided doses) can produce other benefits including parasite removal from the intestines, allergy and hay fever relief, and elimination of anemia and acne. For example, clay helps anemia because it contains both types of dietary iron (ferrous and ferric) in an easily assimilated form; it reduces discomfort from allergies by quickly neutralizing allergens that would otherwise produce allergic reactions; and it reduces heartburn and indigestion by absorbing excess stomach acids.
However, clay’s forte is probably its role as a general internal detoxification and cleansing agent. According to Keith Payne of White Rock Mineral Corporation in Springville, Utah, clay scrapes and cleans the lining of the colon. “As the colon becomes cleaner, its ability to absorb minerals and other nutrients increases, making the minerals even more bioavailable, thus giving more energy.”
White Rock’s clay, called Bentonite Minerals™, contains 71 trace and ultra-trace minerals, including many that are probably unknown to most consumers, such as ruthenium, tellurium, and thulium. Trace minerals enable the body to absorb nutrients—“they are the bonding agents in and between you and food,” explains Payne.
Bentonite Minerals are derived from an ancient seabed formation in Utah; according to geologists, the clay formed when a layer of volcanic ash fell into what was, long ago, a shallow inland sea. “As the ash filtered through the seawater, it collected pure minerals, forming a layer of highly mineralized clay,” says Payne.
The best way to drink clay is on an empty stomach, or at least an hour before or after a meal or immediately before sleeping at night, says Knishinsky. Typically, clay is available as a thick tasteless, pale-grey gel, but it also comes as a powder or encapsulated.
Generally, it is advisable to start with one tablespoon daily, mixed with a small amount of juice; observe the results for a week, then gradually increase the dosage to no more than four tablespoons daily, in divided doses. Drinking clay can be an annual spring cleaning of your gastrointestinal tract or it can be a symptom-focused, self-care method.
Bentonite is Ground up volcanic ash found deep in the bowels of the earth. It is insoluble in water but swells to 12 times its size when added to water. The molecules have two broad surfaces that have negative electrical attraction while the edges are positive. Bentonite can absorb or pick up many times it's own weight in positively charges ions. Simply put, Bentonite is a magnetic sponge that removes bacteria, parasites and toxins form the entire intestinal tract. It has very strong absorptive qualities and it can also remove nutrients from the bowel.
Hi Carmen, I live in Hong Kong, too, and have found a convenient local source for hydrated Bentonite. It is available in quart bottles under the "Arise and Shine" brand label, from the "Healing Plants" shop on Lyndhurst Terrace, in Central. The current price is just over HK$200 per bottle. I hope this helps you.
Where is the best place to purchase the clay (to use as an intestinal cleanse?) Also, I believe that I have heard before that the clay should only be taken internally if it is mixed with physillum husks. Is this true?
Please send me more info clay cleansing. Thank you for your article!

A few months ago i bought a medicinal clay (light gray lumps) to a herb vendor in Lima. Here in Perú it has been used by indian peasants for centuries, so i decided to try it.
I dont remember the quechua (native language)name. I found results positive, but as the quantity was small it didnt last long. I have used psyllium for a few years but the GNC store in Lima closed down.I it can be found in a Pharmacy it will be 50% costlier. Would be interesting to use them together to combine benefits!
My question are: Is the clay I describe the same bentonite?
Is it true that it should not be mixed with a metal spoon?

I finally had great success using Redmond white clay. 1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon in 1/2c-1c of water before bed. After a month I felt free and clean at last. I realize the problem may require this protocol or something close to it for the rest of my life. The clay doesn't taste bad. It doesn't taste like anything really. Not good or bad. I also take a spoonful of crushed Garlic whenever I feel the need. That quiets them down. I often also take a large capsule of liquid Yucca extract every day. It tastes too strong and bitter, like molasses without the sugar, so I drip it into a capsule. Yucca seems to work like an internal soap. And a Tablespoonful of food grade Aloe Vera Gel first thing in the morning - that seems to kill parasites too. But I believe it's the clay that kills the most and saved my life and sanity. I tried all the herbs and Male Fern was the best but they all have side effects and danger. Nothing works better than clay for me.
Can you be more specific about who "they" is and what do you mean "fight to hide"?
Look at the Clay FAQs on Earth's Living Clay website for info you may find helpful about heavy metals in clay, specifically, lead.

Are Your Clays Tested for Lead?
All of the edible clays we’ve seen tested – including our own - have trace amounts of lead.
However, it is commonly assumed by reputable naturopaths that the lead is not bioavailable,
exits with the clay
via the colon.
We have seen individuals who have existing lead toxicity not only use clay, but also consume modified citrus pectin twice daily.
Many believe that individuals who are metal-sensitive or metal-toxic, are usually,
if not always, minerally depleted,
which is a factor that prevents the body from eliminating heavy metals.
A large percentage of people that buy our Drinking Powder do so for heavy metal detoxification.
There are reports of clay helping with this, including the reduction or elimination of lead in the body.
Based on these cases, it would seem that any trace amount of lead is indeed not bioavailable
(absorbable by the body).

I just had an enormous golf ball sized Bartholin's abcess. Horrifically painful every move I made. I had looked up remedies online and was trying to get it to burst. WARNING! Many will tell you use tea tree oil and theirs went away. Mine was mildly irritating and about the size of a pecan. Clearly infected. Once I put on tea tree oil, it exploded the size of the cyst, burned like hell and it grew to five times the size it was, became excruciating and NOTHING helped after that. 24 more crying, screaming writhing hours of that which felt like razors in my vagina everytime I moved, tried to pee or take the baths - i could not take the pain, it would not rupture on its own.
I cannot say enough - how awful the tea tree oil made it, burned my skin and exasterbated it all. Wish I had never read it! My instincts were to not do it - but people said it went away in two hours - so, i went against my instincts. (Never a good idea, they are there for a reason!)
I went to gyn office - here's a heads up I did not realize or would have never done that either. I couldnt even walk at this point in so much pain! They did not have an IV or any pain meds they could give me to do an in office procedure?!? The topical lidocane burned and when they tried to put in the needle to numb me I just screamed bloody murder, sobbing!!! Do yourself a favor if you are in this shape, go straight to ER so they can give you something for the pain. They might could have lanced ut uf I did that.
I had to go to surgery for a full anesthesia to get it done. Thank GOD! !!!
Just so you also know - dont let expense fears stop you from ER, most hospitals have a financial aid dept :)
I waited longer than I needed to - bc of money.
FYI - i am not finding the word catheter bad as people here say. DO have an expert gyn surgeon do it, not just any er doc though.
Best recommend I learned:
Before it got bad - Betonite Clay was the most calming and healing thing I used. It draws out toxins, it can go on the inside of your vagina, and you can find at most health food stores for $12 or so
It shrunk it totally the first time. Also I alternated cold packs with hot treatments bc my tissues were SO swollen. I used ice watered tea bags
Too on the lips of the labia, helped so much felt so good!
This is my second time with this cyst, the first time I just took sitz baths in Epsom Salt and was fine, it never got too painful unless I touched it. The sitz baths after just 2 days helped it drain itself. This time it reappeared after several years and I didn't think I had to do anything right away because the first time wasn't bad at all. It got to be so painful and it was very hard to work on my feet all day Saturday. By the time I got home, after my first sitz bath for the night I was crying and praying because I thought for sure I was going to the ER. I just read about the tea tree oil that night, but was too tired to go out and decided to just soak in the tub a couple more times and use more warm compresses for the night. By the time I woke it had burst and started draining on it's own, thank goodness. Since it has worked for me twice now, I think I will just stick to the sitz baths and hot compresses, but start at the first sign of one.
For those of you posting about eye issues you may want to consider using a Bentonite clay poultice over the eyes (eyes closed of course). It pulls out toxins that cause many different eye issues.
Here are some very encouraging posts from clay poultice users on another forum:
I am an allopathic doctor and a naturopathic doctor, in Paris, France.
Gummyness of eyes - that means secretions, doesn't it ? From a naturopathic point of view, this is caused by some toxins that are being chased out of the body.
For example I have had to treat :
- A new born baby with daily eye secretions... The significance being that the baby took the mother's toxins when it was feeding from the mother's blood in the uterus, and later - thanks to its vitality - expelled those toxics out through eye secretions.
- My own daughter, 6 years old and with magnificent health and pink cheeks : One day, some friend poured "eau de cologne", perfume, all over her head. When she awoke the NEXT morning she called out "mummy i cannot open my eyes", in fact she had a thick pack of dried secretions on both eyes (she had never ever had that before), and the eyelids were completely sealed ! It took half an hour in a hot shower bath that day to wash it out, and then she awoke every morning of the following week with eye secretions, diministhing from day to day (until all the "eau de cologne" spilled on the head skin and absorbed through the skin pores was expelled).
External clay works miracles on the eyes (infection, perforation); it is THE remedy for the eyes, anthroposophic doctors (Rudolf Steiner school) have an explanation : they say that since clay is made mostly of silicate, and that silicate is the analogy (?) of light...

We have had a number of experiences with clay relating to 'eyes'. My husbands vision had been getting worse and his glasses no longer were sufficient with their then present prescription. We went to a Dr. to get a new prescription. After he checked the eyes he did make out a prescription but strongly suggested we first go to an eye specialist. He didn't say exactly, but there seemed to be something wrong at the back of one of his eyes. He even got an appointment for the next day. That evening we decided it couldn't hurt to put a clay poultice on the eye at least for a while, which we did. After the examination the next day (and even a picture taken of the inside of the eye,) the Dr. concluded that the eye was 'getting' old. There was a 'spot' on the retina but he couldn't tell that it was anything to worry about but suggested a follow-up checkup in 6 months. The most interesting part to us was that after the clay poultice my husband's prescription no longer needed changing. He wore the same glasses for quite a while longer but not with a new prescription.
Another man did have a retina detachment. He got a new prescription after a laser reattachment procedure. Then he decided to try a clay poultice. Rather interestingly enough He had to quit wearing the new prescription glasses and return to his old prescription glasses. He also used clay at a later time when he had a real bad headache seemingly eye related (not sure on that one though) with very positive results.
Another time my husband got a drop of a 'cleaner' for PVC plumbing pipes in his eye. We put a wet clay poultice over the eye. After about 5-6 minutes he couldn't stand it any longer so I took it off. With it came a bunch of 'gunk' (I called it, rather slimy mucus substance). We put a new 'pack' on it. That was tolerated for about 8-10 minutes before we again had to remove it. Again there was more 'gunk'. I can't remember if we did it a third time but after that the eye seemed to be OK.
We have basically used sodium Bentonite clay for all of the above. I have experimented with pascilite but it didn't seem to give us the positive results so we haven't used it much.

I have found that clay poultices placed upon the eyes ( closed ) is excellent for addressing both eye infections and eye strain. I've received more than one report of individuals reducing their eyeglass prescriptions after long term clay use.
This person ( His name is David) is using clay on
his face twice a day using once white clay (
bought from local store) and once gray clay (
Purchased from The living clay company) in the
morning and in the evening. About 3 weeks ago,
after having many remarks on how his face were
improved and that the birth mark is much
improved, he decided to put the clay also on his
eyes for about 30 minutes, so he put the clay on
his face and one eye for half an hour in the
morning , then wash his face then put again on
face and other eye for 30 minutes.( He repeat
this procedure in the evening as well) Now, after
3 weeks He noticed that he does not need glasses
to read newspaper and lately he stopped using
glasses when in front of computer screen or when
reading books and newspapers. Receiving this
email from you I have just contacted him and he
again confirmed that his eyes were significantly
improved after using the clay on them.

this seems to be interestinga nd now i come to know that how and in what circumstances eyes problems can be easily resolved....this tells us that how and in what ways they are important and should be use too
This sounds so interesting to me. I wonder what kind of clay is being used here. I remember when Jesus healed 10 bind men simultaneously and only one returned to say thank you. I wonder if that clay is the same of what Jesus used o the blind men.
hi, thanx for information about clay poultices, i wonder which stores we can buy it locally, i live in cali so can we buy it from groccery stores like bel air, relays, or some drug stores like wall greens wall mart ,,, i will use it for my eye floaters hope it help get rid of annoying bugs in my eyes,
Very interesting information thanks for sharing it!
I have dry eyes my doctor just ordered the lipiflow test it took 5 years for them to do that! I'm going to try the clay and see what happens . I did some research and read the reviews on Amazon and Indian Healing Clay was rated five stars, then I called around and I found it at Whole foods I bought a couple big jars of it... very inexpensive called Indian Healing Clay
A special thanks to the doctor for sharing his knowledge.
I had dry, red, itchy gritty eyes so I tried the natural clay cure, it works! Here is what I did I made a clay paste 2 tablespoons of the Indian Healing Clay mix put in glass bowl then add about 1 tsp natural organic apple cider vinegar ( I buy Bragg's) and 1/2 tsp water mix into a paste and put it on my eyes lids and below the eyes, basically I put the clay paste all around the eyes .PLEASE DO NOT put the clay paste directly in your eyes .
Let the clay dry and then rinse it off with warm water . The clay will pull the toxins out of your eyes and it stimulates oil flow as well as can unblock any meridian channels that may be blocked which may result in the flow to begin and healing . This Indian Healing clay is certainly amazing.
I've made a mistake of putting sodium Bentonite in my mouth without hydrating it properly. I wanted to clean my mouth and thought this might be ok. However after a week I have clay clinging onto my tongue at the back. This I'm guessing is where the clay is finding toxins. Also I may have not hydrated the same clay properly a few years ago when doing a psilium -bentonite detox-I was not very well informed about this product and it's freaking me out just a bit(!) Any ideas as to how I can remove the clay asap? I've tried coconut oil pulling a few times but the clay returns the next day.
These images were taken close to 4 yrs. ago when I still had multiple large lesions on my neck and head area. Using terramin clay mixed with borax, I’d smear it on thick hoping to draw out whatever was making life miserable. Daily I did this, then at one point I felt an electric like jolt, like hitting your funny bone-except it was on the back of my neck.
The pattern left in the drying clay resembles a Hartig net or some type of “basket” fungus. I think if I’d shaved my head, this pattern would have continued on up/around my scalp. Maybe even my entire body? At the time I knew it was kinda a weird deal, but had no thought that it could be a fungus. And Hartig Net definitely wasn’t in my vocabulary.
We know all kinds of other parasites are attracted to and feed off of fungus… This could explain multiple infestations, the crawling /growing feeling on the head(or all over), bumps and ridges even. Fungus grows fast making it hard to get rid of. Could it possibly be beneficial? Trapping and harnassing in nematodes and such…
Who knows, but nature is full of whacky stuff. Whether this is natural or unnatural or I’m being crazy as a loon? The world may never know…
Try adding Borax to your shampoo... It's very anti-fungal... Mix it in a separate cup and water it down enough that It pours over your head and use the run off as a "body buff".
I can't say I never have any problems, but I sure don't have
those painful lesions anymore...
I rife, do cleansing, regularly used the parasite paste. I haven't posted it for awhile, so here it is:
Quickdraw Parasite Paste
Here is a recipe for making a paste that will pull all kinds of "debris" out from your skin. My experience has been ~bizarre~ but I'm thankful to have found a way to draw out stuff that just doesn't belong and I hope it works as well for others.
It's fairly cheap, easy to make, all natural and most ingredients are probably around your house already. You can be on any protocol and still use this paste. I'm no Science whiz but I believe the paste creates a chemical reaction that the "debris" cannot stand. I've drawn out concretions, sand, frass/eggs, mucous, worms, green dodders(I think), Those creepy black hairs, white hairs and even some blue gel thread hairs. I'm not kidding!! If you believe it try it, if you don't, don't. But I hope you do!
Quickdraw Parasite Paste:
2 oz. container ground Nutmeg
1/8 cup Borax
1/4 cup Olive-Oil
1 Tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar
1/8 cup Water
(Alternately you can omit the ACV and water and replace it with Kleen Green enzyme cleaner. Just keep adding in enough to keep paste the right consistency).
Use wooden or plastic untensils and a medium to large glass/ceramic bowl to mix in because I think metal might change the chemistry somehow. A rubber spatula makes mixing way easier.
• Mix the Nutmeg and Borax together and try to break up any clumps.
• Add Olive-Oil and stir into a thick paste.
• Add Apple Cider Vinegar and stir again into a thick paste. It might slide around not wanting to mix with the oil but keep at it folding and stirring until it thoroughly mixes.
• Pour in Water and mix, mix, mix until it's almost like brown "cool whip". As it stands it will keep thickening up, so just keep sprinkling in more water and whip it back up. Consistantcy is very important, try not too thick and not too thin.
Now sit in front of your magnified mirror, on your finger scoop a marble size(or bigger) of the paste and lightly smooth onto your face. Over lesions, rashy or itchy spots lightly dab, dab, dab paste onto it, pushing into the pores and usually something weird will surface very quickly, almost instant.
This paste won't dry up like clay does and will only draw out so much before it's "spent". Gently scrape it off using a flat edge like another spatula or an old credit card, then wipe it onto a paper towel. Keep reapplying paste until you get relief or you run out of paste.
You might try to save "specimens" but it's near impossible. As soon as you scrape it off it loses whatever shape it was. It's like nailing jello to the wall or saving those firework "snakes" from 4th of July. So take a picture- it will last longer and down the road you'll know that yes it really happened.
Another tip, if you have a small wearable zapper, put it on while you're doing it. The current seems to help . Please give it a try and I pray it works as well for everybody.
FINALLY!! I have searched for several years, posted many times about the chronic scalp/neck insane itch I have lived with way to long. I posted photos once, but they were not clear as I did my own photo shoot. This is very similar to my neck right now and my scalp all the time. The neck outbreaks come and go - scalp is insanely itchy....this NET is the pattern I feel, see, and hear constantly - a subcutaneous crackling - sometimes just from moving my eyes. OOOH cannot wait to try this recipe. Thank you so much!!!
The neck pictures are when I used just clay and borax mixed. The recipe using nutmeg will not dry out at all.
Stick to the basic measurements being careful not to use too much oil... but it may start to be too thick as you are using it , then add either small amounts of water or kleen green to keep the right consistency.
Also just letting it just sit on your skin isn't as effective as pushing it kind of back and forth and into the pores until it's spent and won't draw anymore...
Once I watered it down and pour it over my head in the shower, it was quite messy and too often it would probably clog the pipes.
It really does pull stuff out that's close to the surface of the skin. But there are layers of skin and layers of funk that has infested it, so it won't be cleared all at one time. I continue to use it at least once a week.
I believe I may have this issue ...I have bentonite, but not the terramin clay...I desperately need to do this as my scalp drives me crazy at times.(like today, started yesterday after a month or so)..btw, I have lesions all over...some did not show any healing for months and the crusting on the top was not your typical scab.
One way the parasites adapt to living within the host is the thinning of their cuticle which allows them to absorb nutrients, and the osmotic pressure of the interior of the parasitic worms remains less than or same as that of their host, so that they have no difficulty in exchange of water. This makes them vulnerable.
When the homemade Parasite Paste is applied, any parasites near the surface of the skin are instantly drawn out by the sudden osmotic pressure difference! The paste ruinates their osmoregulation! It also works to draw out other unwanted debris like fungal stuff, small calcifications, etc…
Here’s a couple of great articles explaining it further:
These are from debris drawn out of the skin with Parasite Paste that I collected on clear packing tape.
These are images of some type of fungal forms that are in the aggregation stage of their life cycle... I think. They are similar in that they look like a "flower", but not all identical, so I wonder if they are different types of fungal infections and if candida is one of them? Dictyostelium? Anybody recognize?
This is the closest thing I could find to what they look like:
Sorry if I post too many images, it just feels like I have to illustrate what I'm thinking.
I remember the first time I saw hairs moving by themselves and made my whole family come in to see what I seeing. No one could believe it or explain it. But they ~did~ see it.
Now, a few years and a microscope later here's at least one possible explanation for this "scare hair". Once again, it's the fungus among us. These "hairs" look like they've morphed with dictyostelium and maybe other types of fungi, setting up shop mostly on the head and scalp, but in the skin in general. Difficult to get rid of because it seems multiply quickly.
Yes indeed it's an ongoing ordeal taking precautions and doing all the things you know you should be doing. Scary at first when you have no idea what's happening to you. Luckily there are sites like Curezone with folks that understand. : )
I've bounced back for the most part, but always seem to have one or two small lesions and catch most everything. I get to feeling so wuss!
I think everyone with Morgellons needs a microscope!
Maybe we are dealing with a super fungus, bacteria with pheromones attracting Collembola. Then that is hurting our immune systems, causing more problems. The white floating fibers are Collembola molting, or at least that is what I found in my research.
This is terrible.
My gums on the lower right quadrant have been hurting lately, I've had gum disease before and my gums have been slightly lowered since then. The very last tooth, bottom right corner has the most gum damage, it has a deep crevice around the entire tooth where food gets stuck real easily.
So I was cleaning tonight with one of those metal dental picks scrapping the edges between tooth and gum. I might have other done it with that corner tooth. After scrapping around I used my waterpik on highest setting (I just have it set there all the time), and when I sprayed into the gums around that tooth I felt my gum bubble up a little further away from thr gum line. Water was getting in there through my gum line! But the bubble full of water slowly drained itself. Now that bubble area feels weird, like there may be still something inside but I'm not sure. Do I have an abscess forming there already or something? Has something like this happened to anyone else before and is there anything I can do to try to treat this?
If you have teeth that are exposed like that I highly recommend oil pulling. It's not a cure all, but it will help with the bacteria levels in your mouth, root teeth stronger to the gums, and make your mouth and gums healthier overall. Good luck!
Hi I have read in many places that Bentonite clay works well for infections in the mouth. I know there are three different types of this clay so what one do I use? Also how do I use the clay in my mouth? Do I make a mouthwash? or do I pack it in on the spot that is infected?
I use Yerba Prima liquid Bentonite clay on occasion. I use it the same way I would use oil in oil pulling, swishing for 10 to 15 min or so.
There's a lot of info on Bentonite clay for mouth infections at the OP forum. MrCuddly, who often posts there, is a good resource for info on this.
I would like to get feedback from other members on my opinion. I use clay extensively, especially taking clay internally and taking regular clay baths. I use clay externally on my body for practically everything just to see if it will have an effect or not because I know there will be no side effects and the worst thing that will happen is that nothing happens.
Clay will remove toxins, especially if one does clay baths regularly and take clay internally. I believe the if we do not get rid of these toxins inside our bodies, no amount of vitamins or food supplements will do us good. We need clay especially because we live in a toxic world.
What I am wondering is if clay is so good as I personally believe it to be, how come there are very few people postings their experiences of using clay. Why isn't clay being used as extensively as it deserves to be?
Because clay is very inexpensive and no one is going to make a big profit on it. Even in the alternative health world people try to get as much money as they can. People usually would much rather sell something that is going to make them good money but might still be effective than something that is very effective but won't make them much money. It's all just business. From all the experience I have with natural ways of healing I've found that usually the most simple and inexpensive things are the most effective.
Hi relpub....just wondering which type of clays you like for use internal and external. I've used pascalite internally for a brief time, not long enough though, I'm sure. And I've used medi-body pack externally...but again, not consistantly. Did you have to use clay consistantly for a while before you noticed any benefit?
I wondered about your experience with terramin....thought I'd post it here rather than our other thread up the road at humaworm.....I've been taking 1 tsp dose as well, just once/day. I put it in my fibre drink, which is flaxseed, slippery elm, marshmallow and apple pectin. I take this on an empty stomach in the morning (after oil pulling...such fun all these things are). Do you think it's better to take on empty stomach alone? Maybe it's effect gets sort of lost in the flaxseed...although other fibre drinks often just add the clay right in....what do you think? Maybe better on it's own still?
And have you noticed any difference in your teeth since brushing with it...neat idea, I'll try...I'm almost tempted to make a homemade shampoo with it. I buy terresentials shampoo which is mainly clay...wonder how this would work.
Thanks for all your help....I like the earth connection too,
Hi there, Question on the terramin edible clay. When does one start to use it?I am in the parasite maintence by Hulda Clark ,, doing the 5-day Bowel Cleanse with formula #1 & #2. My sister gave it to me so I thought it would be good to use. His program on the #2 formula is pretty strong 50 caps daily for 5-days. That's the clean-up which includes benoite clay.which removes lots of toxins and will kill & remove any remaining parasite.I only took 10 this morning, removed the contents from the caps and put it in liquid so I could digest it.I don't think I can do the 50 a day because of my problem digesting it. So no matter what I take, I'm sure it will be of some benefit.I much and how oftenam also starting the coffee enemas, then later the kidney cleans, live & gallbladder cleanse. So when would you said to use
the edible clay and how much? Did you have any bowel problems when using it?
I use an overfilled teaspoon (I would not call it heaping because I tap it a few times) a day. I take it in the morning on an empty stomach. I do this no matter what else I am doing at the time for better or worse... but if you are already taking a clay, I would not do this as well.
Sounds good. Can you take the edible clay while taking the heavy metal detox
Another question. When I eat out,(on my very selective menu of course) I order hot water for my tea. I just realized they don't boil the water but use the microwave. Would you suggest taking the edible clay with water before drinking the tea or after,or is there something else one can do.
I do not have the knowledge to answer your questions... maybe someone like Lapis could help with these?
That said, I will try.
I do believe that the clay can and does act as a detox of sorts by itself. Whether it would improve the efficacy of the heavy metal detox or muddle it up, I do not know.
When eating out it is hard to avoid microwaved anything if it is cooked food and served hot. This is unfortunate as it renders the nutrition in the food unrecognizable by the body, it also destroys what little life giving structure there is to water.
If it where me, I would probably wait at least two hours and take the clay after the meal on an empty stomach.
Clay works by the principle of ion exchange. Clay mineral structure is such that it attracts toxins from inside the body and literally pulls it out from the body so that these toxins are absorbed into the clay structure where they are tightly bound. As for the clay minerals getting inside the body, it is a lesser degree than the pull of the toxins out of the body. However, if you take clay internally, the minerals in clay are absorbed by the body while at the same time, toxins are removed from the various organs and into the clay. Ultimately, the clay is excreted by your bowel movements.
One thing that I do to increase absorption of clay minerals by my body is to prepare my clay with shilajit or fulvic acid in a solution overnight. The fulvic acid or shilajit (which contains fulvic acid) will transform the minerals into ionic forms that is more absorbable by the body. Search google for "fulvic acid minerals" and start reading.
I finally found somebody, who believes in clay as much as I do! I am so very glad to meet you!
I have just posted my story on this site under ulcerative colitis. I thank the God to directing me to find the clay and Mother Earth for making it. Thanks to Terramin and Pascalite clays I have my life back!
Please, read my story and let me know what you think. You, probably, just one of a few people who will not be really surprised by reading my story.
I was sharing my results, using clay for colitis on the colitis forum and recieved pretty cool reactions. One called me an idiot, some people asked a few questions, a couple people ordered, I have to heard from them yet...but majority would rather take dangerous drugs for years than try something so simple, safe and without any side effects like clay.
Personally, I believe in combining Liver Flushes with the extensive use of clay like clay baths, clay facials, internaly use of clay.Acne are the results of internal toxins, whatever they may be (because every body is exposed to different kinds of toxins from the environment, the food etc. so we do not really know what they are or how much they are inside the body, nor do we care. What is important is to attack these toxins on all fronts, give the toxins all the artillery we got and that is why I mentioned the approaches earlier. If you do all these approaches PLUS a sensible organic and healthy diet, exercise regularly to move the lymph and the circulation, take food supplements that are really good, I can almost guarantee you a long life without any health problems including acne. But it takes time, take discipline and self control which is why many people (including me) are struggling with health problems. But since doing what I mentioned earlier, I think I have seen many great things happening to my health altogether.
I am a big fan of Terramin and Pascalite clay.
For you, I think Pascalite clay is better. I have read a lot of testimonials of people that got rid off acnes and other skin problems, using Pascalite internally and topically (the company sent me the info. with my order). I take both, Terramin and Pascalite clay for ulcerative colitis.
aluminum is not a problem, because it is natural form and you will not absorb it. I would worry more about if this clay was tested for bad bacteria, arsenic, lead... Without knowing the brand it is hard to say. I, personally, use 3 brands (Living, Terramin and Pascalite), all 3 are tested and safe to use. I use them internally, for ulcerative colitis and externally, for bath, poultices and facials.
I am new to this group. I just wanted to share my story. I have had ulcerative colitis for 5 years. You all know the story: a lot of pain, 12-15 times in the bathroom with a feeling like all insides are falling out of me, so much blood...
Tried prescription drugs. Had so many side effects with a little result, so it was not worth it. Tried so many supplements, herbs, just about the best probiotics on the market (VSL3, Dr. Ohhira, Prescript-Assist. Mutaflor-did help while took it, but not sold in US...).
Thanks to Mutaflor I did have a job for a while, but FDA took it off the market and my nightmare started again. I had to quit because I could not leave the house. I started reading everything I could find about colitis and alternative treatments. I found firstly Living clay. Tried it. Had some improvement, than I read about Terramin clay. I took it (1tsp in a glass of water 3 times per day on the empty stomach) for 4 days and had a dramatic improvement just in 4 days. The pain was gone, trips to the bathroom diminished to 3 with much less blood. I was ecstatic! I became obsessed about clay and healing and looking for the best healing clay. Then I read about Pascalite clay. I ordered 1 lb. Let me tell you this clay is the strongest clay. I am a big fan of both Terramin and Pascalite clays. I highly recommend everybody with colitis or Crohn's to read about them and take them internally.
I do not sell anything, just tell you what works for me. I hope this info. will help somebody too.
I know Bentonite Clay is included in Dr. Schulze 's Intestinal Formula #2. On his website he states the following......Most Bentonite Clays are just dug-up desert muck dried in gas furnaces or ovens, and therefore polluted with toxic and carcinogenic hydrocarbon residues from this gas-drying process (it’s like car exhaust). The only Bentonite Clay that I use is harvested in pristine desert climates, far away from civilization and then spread on the desert floor and naturally solar and air-dried without using any artificial heat sources. This makes a very clean, very potent and far superior Bentonite Clay.
So does anyone know how "pure" the Edible Earth is? I do Dr. Schulze 's 5 Day bowel detox about once every 3 months, and I considered purchasing Edible Earth to take once daily, in addition to Schulze's cleanse every 3 months. I just wondered if the clay used in Edible Earth could possible be an unpure clay as Schulze mentioned above.
