Fruit juice is suggested for its nutrition and bowel-moving properties but also to help provide pleasant flavor for people reluctant to drink/eat something ( like a formula based on charcoal) that has a bland or bitter taste.
If using juice or water, it helps to mix the formula by using a small jar, perhaps 8oz or 16oz, put the liquid in first (but do nit fill, leave a couple inches on top after adding firmula to make it easier to shake) add formula 2 powder, attach lid, shake vigorously, chug drink within a few minutes and then add more water to rinse/drink all the little bits that remain after you chugged, the flax seeds tend to stick to the glass, don't want to waste them, drink it all.
I have had wierd digestive complaints for quite some time, but was still able to pass stool. I wrote it off as my weight and eating habits. But after the 2nd time in a year not being able to go much at all, I discovered a blockage. I have already
Tonight I had a sudden urge for diarrhea. I passed this, but I could actually feel it going around something. Then, if I pushed I could feel feces in the middle trying to move but stuck. For the past year or so it's taken me twice as much as effort compared to normal to produce a normal bowel movement. This sure explains it.
I have tried magnesium citrate, glycerin suppositories, etc...
I am able to pass small, narrow stools, but not much else.
What should be my immediate course of action? I almost did a saline enema, but the box read not to use for a blockage. i have read that lactulose will slowly liquefy stools. I'm not sure how large (diameter) the blockage is, but I would assume fairly large. It has apparently pushed right to the end of my intestines with all of the laxatives I've been taking. Please help!
I did end up seeing the doctor, and she prescribed lactulose. I took it in the morning, the morning after I passed a well formed stool (a "log" so to speak) that was tapered quite a bit on both ends. Later, I also managed to pass something sickly looking. It was very small, about 2x the size of a prune, dried up and shriveled, and felt like clay when prodded. Could this have been a piece of impaction? Over the rest of that day my intestines started gurgling quite a bit with weird gassy type pains, churning, and I swear it almost felt like something was very slowly moving from right to left. For fear of having a blockage I stopped eating down to maybe half a meal a day.
This morning i woke up early with a sudden urge for diarrhea. I passed healthy diarrhea with multiple pieces in it. At this point I felt totally evacuated for the first time i can remember. It was a refreshing feeling to have no downward pressure in my abdomen. I hadn't realized this feeling was very frequent until this time. I stopped the lactulose because I had read about it possibly lowering potassium and electrolyte levels from excess diarrhea. I started eating again, still lightly though. Over the next 5-6 hours the distention came right back, and I'm back to passing relatively copious amounts of gas, but no more stool as of yet. I can pass gas quite easily. It appears to move t through me way faster than the stool.
When I try to explain the above to anyone (loved ones, friends who will listen), they basically tell me "if you're pooping, there is no impaction" I don't think this is necessarily true. My stools have never come out as hard pellets, or lumpy looking "logs" as I've read is a red flag for impaction.
I also need to mention that before all of the above I was able to go one decent solid "log" nearly daily. I didn't feel fully evacuated, though. Over the past year or so I've had to really start straining to get them started.
So I'll go back to my original question, and add a few more. Is it an impaction? Do i just have a lazy colon and it's possible if I waited a bit longer things would pass more easily? Was the diarrhea this morning going around an impaction? Should I have stayed on the lactulose, or were the runs a sign it had done it's duty?
I'm also wondering if I might have a physical problem just inside the rectum. Sometimes I have to strain quite a bit even to pass gas that is obviously just inside. My mom is an ex-nurse. I had her listen to my intestines, and she said all 4 quadrants are active, no high pitched sounds. Lower quads more active. FWIW, I am also having intermittent mild groin pain in the lower left groin.
Thanks in advance for any and all advice, good or bad :P
It could possibly be a (slightly) irritated colon - that can give the symptoms you describe. I speak from long experience unfortunately.
What happens if you take laxatives? If the constipation gets worse this might indicate irritation.
Regardless, I would suggest you stop eating/drinking anything that might be an irritant. In my case ordinary black tea had a really negative effect - I used to drink bucket loads of the stuff - at one point it got so bad I went under 9 stone, at 6'2". It could be imagined that coffee/coke/spicy foods etc would also have a bad effect.
I would not get overly worried about producing fine log-shaped fæces. I think that the 'log' itself is rectally produced by the compression of the many small pieces that emerge from the intestine.
There are no doubt many other possibilities - I don't know much about parasites, but there seem to be many here who think they can cause a multitude of intestinal problems. I vaguely remember also reading on here that in certain circumstances the neural or muscle transmitters can be irreparably damaged, causing more or less permanent constipation.
Dehydration or magnesium deficiency are other factors that can cause it.
In any case, good luck with finding the cause.
I don't think this is necessarily true. My stools have never come out as hard pellets, or lumpy looking "logs" as I've read is a red flag for impaction.

The symptoms you describe are similar to what i had a few years ago when i was persuaded by the allopath doctors that i was constipated.
One more time, they were wrong.
From what i learned and experienced, there are two main causes of "constipation" or slow elemination of feces.
The first cause is mechanical, it happens when you eat foods that are sticky or not easily dissolved by the digestive juices (chocolate, cheese, sugar, etc...). One of the purpose of the colon is to absorb water, so at the beginning of the colon (the x area), the feces are liquid, but as the feces travel in the colon, they become drier and drier. Now if the foods you ate were sticky, then the feces at the end of the colon (the stigmoid area) will be dry and sticky. Add to this the fact that most people don't drink enough water and they sleep in a room with not enough fresh air and this produces chronic dehydration. (especially in the colon)
When some feces have hardened too much, sometimes they stay blocked in the colon. That's why you can evacuate feces with a small diameter or small pellets.
This is often the same facts you can observe when you wash your plate after a dinner. Some foods require only a little effort to be dissolved and removed from the plate, however if you don't wash your plate just after the dinner and there are sticky foods on these plates, the next day you'll have to use a lot of warm water and maybe a dissolver to remove the dry sticky foods.
The second cause is a parasitic worms infection like ascaris. These worms can grow up to the diameter of a pencil and 30cm in length. When they are in the colon they can adopt a twirl shape or a ball shape. You can now understand why the circulation of feces can be slowed down by parasitic worms. Also they eat feces which can produces the small pellets you were talking about...
A few years ago, I was so suprised to see such huge Ascaris worms in my feces after having done several high enemas and after having eaten herbs with antiparasitic properties. I wonder how i was able to live with these big worms in me. Seriously it's crazy.
I have done the Moritz liver cleanse and each time I had severe constipation afterwards. I did do Bowel Cleanse with a simple 2 liter home kit. After 5 days still didn't have any bowel movements. It was scary, never had any issues before the first LF, but thanks to the (sea) salt water cleanse I found it is all right now!
I used 2 tablespoons on 1 liter of water in the morning after not eating the evening before. I know they say 2 theespoons instead, but that didn't work for me. Also I didn't want to drink the water too fast because I was affraid my gut wasn't going to hold it with this severe blockage (probably a lot of dried up gall). I don't know where I would have been without this SWF.
I suspect it was the epson salt drink in the next morning, because I had too much left that morning and drank it all. That made my constipation way way worse than the former times.
Now I am considering this Salt-Water-Flush instead of the enema at least for the pre flush for myself. And for my parents who are at a certain age (one of them has alzheimer) the enema is not a thing they can handle at home. What do you think of the Salt-Water-Flush (in the liver flush), it was so effective for me, anyone have (also) experience with this?
Good Morning, I never joined this forum but purchased many items based on messages that I found online via a google search. I had great success with the candida and fungus fighters along with zinc and a good prebiotic/probiotic. The problem is that if I skipped it one day, the odor issue returned with a vengeance. I also have a prescription for Linzess since I suffer with chronic constipation. I had fecal body odor and leaky gas. I also had very bad smelling menstrual cycles. MY LIFE HAS CHANGED. I had a colonic done (colon hyrotherapy) and I swear that I believe I passed at least 50 chunks of poop. So far I've had it done twice but the second time hardly anything came out. Anyway, I've only had a smell twice since getting the colonic and the smell went away after having a bowel movement. I still suffer with constipation (I take iron for anemia) but it even changed my menstrual odor. I also had very strong urine, I do take Nitrofurantoin 50 mg daily for that, but it helped with that smell along with helping with urine leakage. PLEASE TRY A COLONIC. It has trumped every pill or item I've ever purchased. I've tried everything from baking soda to body mints.
Definitely I think the smell is coming from my intestines too. I think its called leaky gut. I found out that eating beef makes me constipated. And at the same time you need to drink lots of water. The longer the stool sits in your gut the more toxins you are absorbing. So you want to have bowel movements everyday. The more the better.
I have SEVERE colonic inertia. Aka my colon is paralyzed. My Gastro thinks it is an infection and i will be tyring a Fecal Transplant soon. 100g vit c does nothing. This is not your normal constipation so please do not tell me to try magnesium etc or more fiber. This is a rare case.
I am on andy cutlers chelation 3 days a week. As you can imagine, not being able to have any bowel movements without powerful laxatives or enemas is a problem when chelating mercury. The liver will get super burdened and i will probably get worse.
I have been following a modified gerson therapy, drinking about 2 quarts a day of fresh organic juice.
Twice a week i have been drinking castor oil 20ml in the morning, then do a chammomile tea enema 6 hours later. It gives an EXTREME purge and the smell is TOXIC. I feel so much better after it.
Gerson used these for cancer every other day for 3 months then taprered them off.
My concern is the gut flora damage. Studies show that colonscopy flushes cause gut flora damage.
But i do not know what is worse. Severe constipation when trying to detox mercury, or purging the colon flushing toxins but damaging the flora?
I would prefer to do coffee enemas to keep the liver detoxed but they gave me quite severe colon inflammation so i was forced to stop. However i would like to try pure caffeine enemas to see if i can get the bile flow effects without the inflammation.
Are you getting any resistant starch in your diet?
Butyrate from the digestion of resistant fibers keeps the bowl moving.
Chelation can easily bring the gut to a stop. The healthy halides are needed to help occupy the now vacant spots in the body.
The sodium-iodide transporters in the CNS need it especially, but transdermal is the way to go, gently!
The healthy halides are potassium iodide, chelated (amino-acid bound) boron, sodium chloride (sea or Himalaya salt).
Low amino acid status can also hurt. Bone broth requires a lot of proleotic or digestive enzymes to make sure it doesn't give Candida overgrowth, but the glutamine rally helps heal!
I know Cutler warns against iodine, but there is a question of balance in all things. KeLp or bladderwrack may be the best path.
coffee enemas stopped benefiting me too, either it's some now happy and fat liver flukes, or too much attempts to flush the liver who's too weak on cholesterol to properly produce bile. Mercury and it's co-horts hijack the ability to produce the body's interval vitamin C cycle (glucouridation) and the urea cycle.
I'm finding dandelion root powder (1tblsp in a cold drink) to be very good liver and kidney support.
Iodine can start an EMOTIONAL detox. Don't start immediately with internal supplementation! That kicks mercury straight into the bloodstream! Sweat all out what you can instead of all through the kidneys. The kidneys especially can complain with emotional negativity. Liver and gallbladder with anger and battlecries, pancreas with despair and low self worth, guys with lite energy and soft tears, stomach with hyperactivity on sugars.
The opposites are quite true, so emotions are a GOOD measuring stick at points.
ANYthing antioxidant chelates Mercury, it's just a question of making the right nutrient balance so glutathione and metallathione carry it out without damage.
I can't say what I use, Leibnitz. I've learned that clinging to one healing modality leads to heavy issues. I do what's needed for that time according to what symptoms I experience, what lessons I've learned in the past, and what the Holy Spirit and prayer guides me towards.
Fasting's been the most peaceful modality for me during my walk. I learned a lot from Anna Rountree's books, Heaven Awaits the bride, etc. They can be found in full text online. I'm otherwise a big fan of the bible and understanding ancient methods of handling health, especially caution around meats. I love cheeses and eggs and yogurt, but it's best to listen carefully to the reactions the body gives to a meal than to combine a lot of stuff together.
What can I say except healing up the body comes intimately close to healing the emotions and spirit?
Mmmhh.. No, I think it's activation of the entire CNS, with iodine. It needs salt to get into the cells to stay, and it oxidises those that are infected or functioning improperly, because it tags them for removal by the immune system so healthy ones can grow in their place. It's especially hard on infected epithelial cells (iodine is used in every cell of the body), and I get the feeling that amoeba infections (such as infections in the toxoplasmosis family, humans carry several types) can bring on the emotional trouble.
That's why I say taking it slow is important with both iodine, and IMO, mercury toxicities.
Careful diet, meditation and patience can remove it... it's just a question of the right approach! I did describe a lot of the techniques I like in the first post, yus?
If you react to vitamin B supplementation with very dry skin, it's toxoplasma.
It's inositol hexa-nicotinate for Iodine supplementation, which is inositol with niacin bound up with it- what's usually found in fruits and nuts.
My own emotions have all been up and down the board with tweaking aspects of self treatment.. I've always noticed the awakening of emotions connected to the process of trying to heal the body.
A few people here on the forum have carefully outlined the connections for me..
And I needed your post just as badly- the Lord uses many ways to comfort His children, and guess what, you're one of them. :)
I've been pondering it... Just how much is emotions connected to the way the body works biologically? Why does he keep talking to me, "do NOT be afraid!"?
It may be a good idea to use a buffered or liposomal vitamin C if being used in an enema. From what I gather the acidity of a pure ascorbic acid enema would be similar to that of an ACV enema. The acidic environment it creates would kill both good and bad flora in the large intestine.
Of course, the length of time she kept the enema in would make a difference as well as the amount of fluid she used.
Even though its more expensive, it may be better to try for vit c IV if she wants to try this.

I tried the Gerson method but became too sick. My bowels work well with herbafibreblend. In fact it worked as good as colonics. However, my Migrains still continued which I believe resulted from mercury poisoning. Have suffered all my life since having teeth filled as a child. I have recently found something that after years of searching actually works. Had no Migrains for 2 months. Used to get several one after the other every fourtnight or more. If anyone wants more info I'm on Facebook so message me there or email
It's puzzling why the Best Websites forum doesn't seem to have many website links lately. A website I just found seems to have the most important health finding of the century.
FIBER CAUSES CONSTIPATION (in the long run)!
Fiber is more or less okay short-term, but it damages the mucosa and microflora over time. And it's common in carb foods, which are already known to be bad when excessive.
Babies on breastmilk don't have fiber, but they have bowel movements okay. The places with the highest percentages of centenarians are Sardinia and Okinawa and the people there have very low fiber diets. Fiber actually is associated with kids' health problems during intake of increasing fiber. Fiber can block ducts in the bowels to the pancreas and other organs and can cause malnutrition.
The website is http://GutSense.org . It's been around for 12 years or more, but I only found it this week.
In the long run fiber seems to do a lot of damage to the gut, even to the microflora, according to gutsense.org . The best laxative seems to be Vitamin C because of no side effects. That's 2,000 to 4,000 mg per day to start with. L-Glutamine helps restore the mucosa. Minimizing fiber & carbs is said to restore health. I just started on this a few days ago. But fiber hasn't helped me much for the past 5 years or more. So gutsense makes sense to me.
How to naturally increase the secretion of digestive enzymes?
I am taking homemade probiotic drinks, Magnesium Bi-glycenate, Magnesium Citrate, Calcium Carbonate, Zinc, Slippery elm, Licorice root. I drink adequate water, take fibrous food, and do physical activities. However, all these are not helping.
Calcium carbonate will cause or increase the tendency to constipation! It's very poorly absorbed by the body unless it is oxidized by stomach acid, in which you might be deficient.
Magnesium sulphate (Epson Salts) can loosen the bowel as can Magnesium citrate.
Lecithin can also be helpful and has many beneficial effects. Combining them and eliminating calcium carbonate should get things moving.
You might try reacting the calcium carbonate with an acid in how water and maybe a hand blender and see if you can get it to react. I have some calcium carbonate and found it very difficult to get to react with acids. It should turn clear when fully reacted but I have never managed to get it to do so. Releasing the carbonate, which is alkaline from calcium carbonate is very difficult unfortunately.
Malic acid can be used, ascorbic acid is not so useful due to needing hot water and the damage it can do to vitamin c. It might require a stronger acid such as HCl but if you are deficient in that then you are out of luck. It would be better to get a more absorbable form if you really need calcium. Using bone broth soup would be a better source IMO.
I agree with high-dose Vitamin C, 2,000 to 4,000 mg per day upon waking and well before the first meal. Take with some water. 1,000 to 2,000 mg can also be taken before bedtime, but probably not over about 4,000 mg per day altogether. Fiber actually turns out to be harmful in the long run according to http://gutsense.org
I've just started Vitamin C myself. The first day I had two small BMs and yesterday one big BM. Today I haven't had a BM yet, but transitioning to a low fiber diet is said to sometimes involve less frequent BMs, due to less fiber. After transitioning, it's said that BMs tend to occur after each meal and are almost unnoticeable.
Vitamin C is said to be the only laxative that has zero side effects.
I'm also on low carbs in order to kill off Candida yeast infection. I'm using coconut oil, garlic and olive leaf extract to kill it. I need to get L-Glutamine which is said to be needed for the mucosal lining. Fiber is said to be hard on the mucosa and the microflora.
I think the site I linked above is the most important health finding of the century at least for North America.
I have been recently diagnosed via DGR labs with positive
H.pylori virulence factor vacA as positive and Guardia ssp. positive
I have written a lengthy entry here on CZ last year when I desperately needed help. Some of my symptoms are chronic fatigue, bloating, feeling inflamed inside and hot in my head, thirst, constipation, nausea, tightness under my right rib cage side,
I am underweight,
I don't know what the h.pylori virulence factor means. Could someone tell me.
As for giardia, what treatment options do I have except flagyl. I barely iterated amoxicillin last year and so antibiotics are last resort. Please share your ideas or treatments that helped.
I do not know what the virulence factor means. It might identify the strain of pylori.
H. Pylori can cause leaky gut which might be part of what is causing you problems, especially the constipation and heat/inflammation. Your body will be reacting to foods which are being absorbed into your bloodstream only partly digested and your immune system is reacting to the food molecules.
Colloidal Silver might be the best solution all round except that it is highly debatable how far it will travel before being absorbed. It might help with the giardia or it might not. It should destroy h. pylori which is the first thing that needs sorting out as that compromises your stomach and allows things like giardia to enter your body. H. pylori creates an enzyme called urease which it uses to neutralize your stomach acid which it needs to do to be able to live in the stomach. After eating protein you are likely to feel tired because of all the ammonia that gets produced in order to neutralize your stomach acid. Ammonia in large doses stops energy production which results in sleepiness.
H. Pylori creates a biofilm which is difficult to beat and antibiotics have difficulty in beating them which is why doctors use triple therapy to defeat them.
Try and get your bowel moving. Leaky gut causes a deficiency of choline which means acetylcholine production is compromised and acetylcholine is the major nerve/bowel stimulant. I use lecithin to help with constipation which can soften the stool quite well. Taking Choline can cause a body odour but lecithin does not have that problem. I tried choline but did not get along with it because it made me very tired.
Sunflower or Soya lecithin powder mixed in water with a hand blender works well. Mix up a jug and take regular doses throughout the day in water, 2 or 3 times. You might need quite a lot to get things to move at first but you might be able to reduce it once things begin to move. I mix 120 grams in 750ml of water and store it in the fridge.
thanks. I was using clove oil 2 drops in capsule 2 times daily for the past 3 days and I started to feel really weird and then stomach ache and so I stopped today. I read that clove oil is toxic. Shoot!
Yes I believe that Clove oil is toxic. I think it is okay for using as a mouth wash but I would not consume a lot of it. Be aware that if you do have leaky gut which you might have with pylori then it will put a lot of extra stress on your liver and might raise your liver enzyme levels. Therefore you do not really want anything that adds a further burden on your liver. With leaky gut the liver is having to work very hard.
Do not be put off by stomach discomfort like many people are. Some who use CS say that it upsets their stomach so that they stop taking it which is not the way to do it! These infections need to be wiped out because they cause many health problems and if my ideas are correct, some very serious ones.
BTW When using Colloidal Silver get some distilled water too. Then when taking CS add some distilled water to it so that it fills your stomach. That is important! You might be infected by other bacteria besides Pylori as there are a number which do very similar things like Pylori but are not detectable by any tests. I am fighting them ATM and taking CS gives me a slightly uncomfortable feeling in the right side of my stomach where I know there is/was a very large infection. That has diminish in the last couple of days and my iris shows a substantial reduction in the marking that was there. I don't think it is entirely gone but it is much better than it was. However there are 4 others which also need to be destroyed. The ionic CS that I purchased from Amazon is utterly useless and has practically zero effect on anything which I have tried it on so far, including a mouth infection. That is going to get a very negative review from me. I might buy a CS generator as it tends to get expensive purchasing the stuff, especially when the quality is so low. A small particle size is important as it makes it more effective.
I have been using elemental CS, a reduced Ionic silver which has worked much better than the Ionic silver that I purchased. It works for many hours at a time as I notice the feeling in my stomach when it is working. I was also getting a feeling in the back of my head ie the hypothalamus. I have Chronic-Fatigue-Syndrome and have noticed this before on occasions when using essential oils in the past. Those never really got anywhere significant and I did not like using them due to the effect they have on my liver, which already has elevated liver enzymes shown by multiple tests.
I am hoping that better quality CS will have a greater effect and finish them all off. So far so good but it still is not enough. Working with poor quality tools from Amazon is not helping TBH.
It's believed that Pylori is present in 56% of the population and there are other bacteria which are more common than Pylori IMO. Therefore you are likely to come into contact with them again in the future.
Do you think that clove oil may do a permanent damage or is this weird feeling and hyperactivity only temporary?
PS: I had a root canal treatment a month ago and I think that it now puts extra burden on me. I don't know what to do with the tooth now, should I keep it and wait or extract it.
If I was you then I would lay off the clove oil. If necessary you could break a capsule into water and use it as a mouth wash if you need to but spit it out afterwards and do not swallow. Therefore do as your school friends probably once told you ;) lol
If you get some CS then you could use that as a mouth wash and swallow it to treat your stomach and with a bit of luck the giardia.
Is your tooth causing any problems? It is difficult for me to offer advise as I am not a dentist and I have no experience of root canals. Is there an infection? CS might fix it if you regularly mouth wash with it.
BTW I have updated my previous post so please read the bottom bit which I added.
Hmm...Thank you man. Cloves are definitely something that I cannot mess with for now. I also took 2 drops 3 times a day so it might have been too much for me. It is one of the most potent natural substances,at least that is what I read, superior antioxidant properties. It might have caused a die-off but on the other hand I am poisoned with gadolinium and cloves might have stirred things up for me. I am on a roller coaster for the past few days. I also zapped for 5 days with metal plates so it also could have "released" gadolinium or killed parasites and fungi.
As for the root canal it wasn't even done yet but I went for extraction yesterday.
I have a weak immune system so I didn't want to risk getting even worse.
How did you get the gadolinium poisoning, from contrast agent? Did you have it confirmed with any lab work?
It looks like kidneys are where symptoms manifest so I would try to do some kidney work. Maybe increase salt, parsely tea, citrulline/watermellon seed, goldenrod tea. I'm not positive if edta chelates gadolinium but if so a safe way to use it would be suppository. Have you tried something simple like ascorbic acid powder or buffered ascorbates?
There is a product called ora-chel which is edta capsules. Maybe you could try a low dose or two.
There is another remedy for Pylori but it works mainly for blood type O - fucoidin. It also works on other types but not as well. Some people find gluten free helps to kick Pylori, or it's a necessary step.
Thanks I will look into it. Kidneys are susceptible to toxic damage but so is the liver. I mostly feeling my liver suffered a lot. I also have brain issues because of that and eye problems. I heard that extra is heavy on the kidneys. Is that right or no? Also someone told me that oral edta is destroyed by the stomach acid. Please let me know because I am all mixed up. Is edta safe in small amounts and how much daily is safe.
I already removed my root canaled tooth after reading about how bad they are although many people have them and seem to be ok. Perhaps I acted out of fear and made a wrong decision since it was the last molar. Are all of these root canals bad, do dentists lie to us. If bacteria are present in a tooth or around it then there should be puss around it. Please explain to me why root canals are bad even though dentists say otherwise.
Clove oil can inhibit glutathione production- it's big brother, cinnamon oil, doesn't have that property. I'd grab oregano essential oil and use it several times a day in oil pulling. The essential oils are similar to Colloidal Silver in particle size, though they don't leave behind smooth tissue damage where silver does when it encounters encysted parasites. (See veterinary studies on the effect of Colloidal Silver on the liver, kidneys, heart and lungs, old stuff. Good reason to stick to the dilution the other poster mentions.)
CoQ10 and the 80-10-10 or raw to 4 should help with those sorts of CS cleanups.
I have heard of folk using rife and zappers to mitigate the effects of root canals, pretty good ways to keep the infections at bay.
Read my post to you again, google the things I mention so you understand better. ;-)
Rife therapy, oregano essential oil, cinnamon essential oil, oil pulling, zappers.
In the long term just get the tooth pulled and oil pull with olive oil with as many drops of oregano essential oil mixed into the olive oil as possible, especially during the healing phase so you don't develop cavitations.
(As many drops as possible- aka, that doesn't make you herx/feel very sick. 1 drop per tablespoon is a good place to start, or all the way down to 1 drop per 3 tablespoons, and store the other oil that won't fit in your mouth for later pulling sessions. )
Root canalled teeth are very expensive to keep from spreading health problems.
showing clove oil to reverse chemically induced memory deficit and slightly increase glutathione.
I could care less about pushing clove oil but I think cloves are an excellent spice as well as cinnamon. If you grind your own spices the essential oils are much stronger and there is no need to buy expensive essential oils unless for some reason you need very high doses.
Volatile oils in spices can go rancid very quickly, according to some sources within minutes, so fresh ground can have more benefits than people realize.
A note about cinnamon, vietnamese cinnamon or cassia has stronger medicinal properties than true cinnamon and it's much cheaper.
Raw cloves are extremely pungent and a tiny bit can throw some people off just because they are so strong, especially pitta types. Boiling them down can make them much easier to tolerate.
Horrible leaky gut. I was diagnosed with Giardia and other pathogens. I treated for months and was getting better with probiotics, MSM, vitamin C.
I grew up eating hardly any fiber. Right before the start of my gut issues I started eating a ton of fruit smoothies thinking i was being healthy. I was also a coffee addict. I went back to the smoothies after healing my gut and I'm back in the same boat.
I took a probiotic and had horrible gas and bloating due to the reaction with the pathogens. Here's my hypothesis.
Drinking the fruit loaded smoothies with coffee causes the stomach to open early and the fiber loaded fruit was dumped into the stomach with acid before it was digested or neutralized. The fruit then fermented rapidly in the gut with the acid and caused an overgrowth of bad bacteria and issues with the gut.
Anybody have any thoughts or things to add? Here are the two articles I'm basing this off of. There are plenty more online but these are pretty straightforward.
I have following issue and need you advice..
2. Too much gas but no smell
3. Mushy stool and easily broken
4. Muscle Twitching
5. Ringing in ears
7. Now nausea for last month
1. SIBO confirmed.
2. Chronic mild gastritis
3. Prostatis but no pain etc. burning while urinating sometimes.
I have this unique problem ..whatever I eat in the day , next day poop amount is quite low but its not constiption..it seems something is eating up all the food I m eating in small intestine as I get regular gas etc and what can be eating all my food ?
Well, here is my slant on chia seeds. I am a 58 year old female, who has had cronic constipation for several years. I had had several ruptured disks in my lower back years ago, and had been put on narcotic painkillers for several months. I had heard they were constipating and assumed that was the cause. Looking back, I think the real cause was nerve damage, because prior to that I never experienced constipation, and after going off of the painkillers, the constipation got progressively worse until I was in agony with it. I had a stroke in Auguest of '07, and constipation took on a whole new dimension. I was having a bowel movement once every 6 days or so after 2 or 3 days of terrible pain and straining. I couldn't sit, I had no "push" or urge to go at all, just bloating, swelling and a terribly full rectum. The stool was invariably dry, and in little round pellets, kind of like deer droppings, even though I was taking 2 collace capsules every night. I tried Fiber Choice, bran cereal, prunes, prune juice (I did hear taking a full glass of prune juice and lying on your left side for 30 minutes would really do the trick, and it did work once or twice, but then it didn't any more.) I tried lots of roughage (salad every day, sometimes twice a day), spinach, sour kraut, lots of home remedy suggestions, no results. My doctor suggested Milk of Magnesia, I gagged it down (why didn't she tell me it came in tablets?) and it worked. Once. Never again. I was looking for information of psyllium husks and Metimucil when I ran across an article about Salvia (Chia Seeds) ending constipation. They made it sound like a miracle. I ordered 3 one pound bags and made the gel. (1/3 cup of seeds, 2 cups of water, stir, wait 5 minutes, stir again.) The gel can be stored in the fridge, eat 2 heaping tablespoonsful every morning. Surprisingly, it isn't slimy, it is very enjoyable, fun to pop the little tender seeds. At first I was stirring it into bran cereal, it didn't taste bad, but looked awful. Then I just ate the gel. At first I thought it was another dud idea, and almost gave up. Nothing happened for about the usual 6 days, but then I had a very full, painless BM, almost no straining, and felt much better. Then nothing for 2 more days, then another large easy BM. Then a regular BM every day for the next 3 days. Two days more, no BM, then a BM every day for the next 3 days. All easy, fully formed. The next day I had 2 BMs. Today I had another. This works. It really does. Don't give up too soon, evidently it takes about a week or so to get going, then you're pretty much set. I had to pass this on as I know what the misery of constipation is, and if even one person benefits from what I have learned it will have been worthwhile. I am using the regular black seeds. Right after I ordered them, I saw lots of ads online that say only the white ones work. I also saw the articles that say that is so much hype, and both colors were tested and had identical properties. Of course, the white are about 4 times more expensive than the black, and if I hadn't already gotten the black ones I would have liked to try the white, but they are working for me just fine. I paid about $6 a pound for them online, lots of places sell them. They are the mysterious "SALVIA" you are hearing about, just another name for the same thing, a cheap, readily available seed grown in Mexico. Its even the same seeds used to grow the green stuff on Chia pets! Lots of Omega 3 oils, lots of other benefits supposedly, and I guess that is probably true, but they do put an end to constipation, at least for me. Until I found them I was considering dynamite! They can also be used in cooking, or just sprinkled over other foods, my husband likes it in oatmeal, I like the gel myself. If anybody has any questions about my experience with this stuff, I would be glad to help if I can.
thanks so much for this testimony, its good to hear things got better for you.
did i understand your post correctly? - sometimes you just eat the gel but not the actual seeds? and that works for you?
very interesting. i have found the same thing works with rice gel. you make this by boiling a small amount of rice with a large amount of water, soon the water turns to gel. its great for the bowels. i think it works because the body senses it as food and so sends it to the intestines. once there the gel hydrates and heals the intestinal tract which has become dehydrated and rough.
you might say, well why not just drink water? because the water is absorbed long before it reaches very far into your intestinal tract. it can even be absorbed directly from the stomach.
anyway, thats my theory, there may be another reason why it works.
Hello! Thanks for the reply! As to the gel, when you add the water to the seeds, it forms a gel with the seeds in it. Looks like a thick poppy seed dressing, only more seeds, and they're several times larger than poppy seeds. You don't have to cook them or anything, just add the water, wait 5 minutes, and stir again. Instand gel! I eat this mix. It really isn't unpleasant at all. Very neutral, no sliminess. It looks awful, but it isn't. I have not missed a dose in the mornings since I started making it, and I don't dare miss one! LOL It really has changed the miserable state of things. Constipation this bad just takes over your whole life. So far it is the only thing that has worked. I still take the collace (I'm afraid not to!) but I really don't think it is necessary any more. I didn't think this would work, but it did. There is so much hype and mystery about this stuff, which is a shame. It stems from greed, trying to make it seem the only way you can get this magic seed is from certain entities that have been able to import this rare seed SALSA, which is plain old Chia seed. Not very glamorous after all, but in reach for everybody. Are you having problems? Have you ever heard of or tried the Chia seed? I would love to hear from you.
i have had problems but stopped them with a combo of real sauerkraut (unpastuerized with live bacteria) and the probiotic LB17. no other probiotic worked, only that one.
but i that the rice gel did also help, which is why your post interests me. i have taken the chia seeds before but only a few times. chia seeds are actually very good for you, they have lots of nutrients in them. so i think i will give this a try, thanks again.
Nice to hear from you! I tried the saurkraut, and ended up vomiting twice. No constipation relief though. Spinach didn't really work either. Chia is the first thing that worked for me consistantly. Let me know how it turns out for you!
My name is john boatner and I am a 21 year old male. I
have been battling constipation problems for 2-3 years now. It all started with
a severe bout of constipation over the summer several years ago. Since that
have been plagued by a unique problem. I basically found using my finger
and manually stimulating my anus allowed me to have, and initiate a bowel
movement in the morning. I have been doing this for about 2 years now because
whenever I do not use my finger I cannot go. As the day goes on I do not have
urge to move my bowels again and if I try to do it myself I notice my anus and
rectume are like a vice! I can also only squeeze out nasty mucus. I am on the
toilet every morning for at east an hour and am becoming severely depressed. I
use to go 2-3 times a day in high school, but I feel like as if I have lost my
natural urge to go (maybe my peristalsis has become weak).
Did the chia seeds help give you that natural urge back? Are they sti working for you an do you still go multiple times a day with them? Lastly, do you think that they have actually helped with pooping itself, or are they just making more to poop?
Hello I've had suffered chronic constipation for the past 10 plus years or so and have tried everything from probiotics, prebiotics (inulin), metamucil, magnesium citrate, castor oil, inositol, mastic gum, manuka honey, berberine, etc...
None really work except castor oil, although its not recommended for daily use. So I stumbled upon Oxypowder from this website. The reason I did not use it before was because I thought it was simply over priced magnesium oxide. Although after researching more from this website I find that it is 'ozonated' magnesium oxide.
I've tried just one the other day and its really aggressive, so much so that I don't think I can handle it and will have to slowly titrate up with it. I read that it increases the oxygen in the entire body as well due to the ozone, so maybe its just a strong detox reaction. Any other experiences with this?
Try lecithin, it's far cheaper and more beneficial.
If you do not like soya, you can use sunflower lecithin. The powder is fairly inexpensive but needs mixing with water and blending or mixing into food. You can get granules but it is usually soya. Granules are fairly pleasant and easy to consume because it can be eaten with a spoon and the taste is okay.
You do need to get the dosage correct, slowly increasing until you are regular.
You may have other issues which makes you deficient in the nutrients in lecithin such as phosphatidylcholine.
After MANY years of chronic constipation, complete lazy bowel due to unwitting laxative abuse, trying every single thing available, even drinking molasses, Oxypowder works. I add MagOx7 and Triphalia, maybe because for so many years it occupied all my thoughts, and now it is not a problem which changes my life. Dose as you feel appropriate. It's a trial and error thing.
Don't use it every day, partly because of the expense, but I am happy with several times a week with no pain, bloating, etc.
Hi All, I know that the topic of coffee enemas have been done a lot and I am grateful for the info but I could not find an answer to my specific problem. I just did a coffee enema about 3 and 1/2 hours ago and nothing has come out of me. I used 2 tablespoons of organic coffee to a pint of water. I lay down on my right side (I usually do my left side but I kept reading about people lying on the right side so I thought I would try it.) I held the pint of Coffee-Enema in me for 15 mins, got on the toilet and after a bit of a trickle of the Coffee-Enema came out, less than a short pee, nothing happened.
I have been doing coffee enemas for a few years now although sporadically mostly because it's the only method that causes me to have a BM. I have IBS-C...I'm lucky if I have a BM once a week. I also have Hepatitis C & cirrhosis. I thought the CEs that I do to have a BM would also help my liver. I always feel cleaned out after and I have never done a soap or saline enema afterwards. I didn't know that was something I should do. Regardless,I do get good results just doing the CE, always a BM, usually stones or silt, and the first few times, parasites and slime like strands. But I have never have had nothing come out of me after a CE. The only difference between this CE and all the previous productive ones is that this is the first time I have done a CE after being diagnosed with lymphoma about a month ago and I was nauseous and dehydrated before I did this CE. Oh and I have been taking lactulose for the past week...but I've taken lactulose and done CEs in the past without any problems. My abdomen is soft to my touch but my belly feels bloated and round like one of those Buddha statues. I also have the taste of salt in my mouth from time to time.
When I press around my ascending colon and transverse colon I feel some slight dull pressure pain and a feeling as if I am full and need to expel waste. But when I massage the ascending and transverse colon still nothing comes out.
I have never done a caffeine enema that never came back out of me or did not expel waste from my body. I am very sensitive to caffeine and I am worried about where the coffee enema solution went and if it will come out of me. I'm afraid to do anything else like a tap water or saline enema. I'm afraid to do anything until I get some suggestions or feedback regarding what happened to the CE, why nothing came out of me after I did it and what to do about it.
Thanks for reading this very long post. I'm really scared about this and I talk too much when I am anxious.
Actually now that you mention it, I am dehydrated. I get so nauseous from my various illnesses that I have trouble holding anything down....Also the sweating from the lymphoma has me sweating through my clothes, sheets, etc.
I never had a problem in the past with CEs that it never occurred to me that I have to be hydrated. I just wanted to have a BM and maybe start a more regimented Coffee-Enema schedule for detoxing my liver.
(I was having hepatic encephalopathy issues.)
I was so secure from past positive CEs and desperate to have a BM that I never stopped to check what would happen with a Coffee-Enema in my current state.
I've always been lax in drinking water and other beverages and I never had a problem with my CEs.
So yes, I think that you are right about me being dehydrated.
It is a little over 12 hours since I posted.
Still no BM or anything but worsening pain in my left hand side of my abdomen...possibly my left flank...and the need get this "crap" out of me.
I'm hurting a lot.
And thanks for your help.
This is a classic case of dehydration. Your body simply aborbs the water content of the coffee because it needs it. It's happened to me many times until I figured out I always need to drink plenty of water before each CE. The caffeine will not be absorbed like when you drink a cup of coffee, but can be mildly stimulating as per Dr Wilson the Coffee-Enema expert.
Thanks Steve888 for your input. It's scary when you don't know the answer to something serious.
I'm nauseous but I'm going to try and drink some herbal tea, maybe some Gatorade. Any suggestions how I can have a productive BM? It's really starting to hurt all over my stomach area,my abdomen and I can feel it wanting to get out of me but there is a very bad pain along my transverse colon and where the transverse colon meets the decending colon...I can't get the waste past that corner, feels like an orange is wedged at that point. Also I can't push too hard;the lymphoma makes it hard to breathe much less push a weeks worth of fecal matter out of my body.
Many thanks for your help.
There is a supplement called Natural Calm which is magnesium citrate powder. You take enough of it on a daily basis to stay comfortably loose. For me this is a little over a heaping TBSP. Magnesium is really good for many body processes as well.
Thanks for the suggestion, Steve888. I'll look into trying the supplement that you suggested. I'm taking a ton of supplements now so we'll see about adding the one you suggested.
In the meantime I still have not had a BM. I have been drinking lemon water, water, and even some Gatorade to hydrate myself all day today. As I mentioned in my OP, using CEs are the only way I can have a BM. Do you think I could try another Coffee-Enema so soon after the last unproductive Coffee-Enema 2 evenings ago? I'm really very frightened of having caffeine in my body even though I have been doing CEs for years and know that the caffeine in a CE will not affect me negatively. Now I am also worried to do a CE so soon after the failed CE of 2 nights ago. Could I do another CE tonight? Might there be any side effects or risks? How often can a person do CEs per day, week, month?
Any suggestion or comments are appreciated.
A side note: I have been taking Lactulose for about 10 days to help with hepatic encephalopathy and my appetite is very poor. I don't think I've had a solid meal in a week. Thanks again.
Dr Wilson says CEs can be done daily and up to 2-4x if needed. It sounds like you might also benefit from a high saline enema with warm water to get the blockage to release. I would use celtic or himalayan Sea Salt .
Everything you ever wanted to know about CEs is here:
Oh thank you so much for that info. I read a lot about Dr. Wilson and the coffee enemas but I wasn't as sick a few years ago as I am now. I mainly just used a Coffee-Enema when I wanted a very productive BM and to help my liver a little. Now that I am diagnosed with lymphoma as well as very serious liver issues I will go back to reading Dr. Wilson and be more committed to helping my body cleanse itself the Dr. Wilson way.
Thank you for taking the time to answer all my questions. That was very thoughtful of you and I am very grateful for that.
May you have a blessed life.
See you in the forums :)
I am a 45 year old, mother of two.I have brownish pigmentation on most of my face, evenly spread on both sides of the nose. This started 16 years ago, much after my children were born, very light on only nose at first, then gradually spread and darkened over the years. There are other smaller issues like excessive belching , cervical spondylosis, hair fall, fuzzy memory, lack of muscle tone, striations on finger nails, toe fungus etc.But on the positive note I am of happy disposition and not fat
I have had a trouble free, peace n cream skin during my youth.I have tried allopathic peels, hydroquinone, kojic acid, three hourly sunscreen applications etc., but all left my already thin skin worse.Homeopathy and Ayurveda also did not help. Not wanting some cosmetic treatment,I refused to wear makeup to conceal it. I want a healthy skin, for my own sake. I strongly felt that whatever caused it in the first place, if identified and undone should fix it.
A chance reading of book-Herbal health for women, helped me find that I suffered from chronic indigestion. But I was generally vegetarian, and had always maintained healthy eating habits.
I then realized a family connection.
My mother's father and sister had died of cancer, one of my cousin from mother's side is battling it.
My mother, her brother, have had their gall bladders removed.
I, my two younger brothers, and an elder sister have all got pigmentation on our faces, in different degrees, though we all live in different areas and eat very different food.
My both brothers have hemorroids.
We actually used to be a clan of good looking people but now all of us have dull blotchy skins, and vague issues, which do not test positive in any of the general medical tests.
My reading of books by Andreas Moritz and many success stories on curezone, convinced me of the nature cure.
I have done 40 Liver Flushes over the last 2-3 years. Now i am on 2 flushes a year maintenance.I have left milk and milk products for the last one year.i have done a 21-day juice fast and colon cleanse.I am totally vegetarian, eat nothing fried, preserved, or artificially flavored or colored.I haven't master cleanse yet for even a single meal fast gives me a headache.
My face is clearing, But very very slowly.I still have a long way to go before I can have a clear skin, which even a lot of junk bingers have. And I have to help myself first before I can even offer any help to my siblings to make a good case.I am these days into purificatory techniques of Hatha Yoga. I have resolved to heal myself, no matter what it takes, but can't say the same for my siblings.
My query is - Have you ever heard of any such hereditary weakness.?
How can we heal ourselves a little faster?
I do not know which fora should it go to.Any expert advice will be highly appreciated, for this issue of attaining clear skin, which everyone seem to have without doing a thing , has enveloped me totally.
Look into transdermal magnesium. I've been experiencing some positive results for my hyperpigmentation with this. I'm 53 and I've only been using this stuff for about 3 weeks. It's really expensive when you get it from
Ancient Minerals, but you can make your own with Nigari flakes, which you can find the recipe googling here on CZ. Magnesium is amazing when you read both allopathic and alternative documents. You can also bathe in the magnesium, and it's more absorbable than the sulfate ( Epsom Salts ). I would add a healthy dose of H202 to your bath too.
I have stopped doing liver flushes. I did come to CZ years ago because of Moritz, and I have to say that was the beginning of my journey. I did feel better after flushes but felt they were too hard on my body. So now I just put bitters on the back of my tongue to stimulate the Vagus nerve and cause my liver to produce bile. This seems to be working like a charm. I go this morning and night.
I too had chronic constipation for years and years (no matter what I ate). I finally corrected that with Oxypowder , which I use sporatically (only when I have not gone for one day). It's also magnesium based and works like a charm and works every time.
This facial pigmentation (melasma) can have a heredity factor.
Some individuals are more prone to melasma from free radical damage to the skin leading to over production on skin melanin.
Hormones can also play a role in melasma formation. More specifically estrogen, progesterone and melanocyte stimulating hormone (MSH). An example is "mask of pregnancy", which normally develops during pregnancy, but can also occur is the absence of pregnancy. I ran in to a friend of mine from high school about 15 years ago who has the mask of pregnancy, but was unable to get pregnant. She had some ovarian cysts screwing up her hormones. I loaned her a Rife unit that cleared up the cysts after a couple of weeks and she was able to get pregnant.
Birth control pills and progesterone creams are also known for causing melasma.
Melasma is almost exclusively seen in women, but men can develop this condition also for a variety of reasons including excess hormone exposure from meats/dairy, xenoestrogen exposure, diethylstilbestrol (DES) for prostate cancer, certain photosensitizing medications and the use of progesterone creams.
I recommend trying digestive bitters and B vitamins just in case hormones are playing a role in your case.
What I am looking for is an expert opinion on the hereditary connection part; as if I have inherited a slow digestive system, complete with slow liver, pancreas, low stomach acid etc. This is just a conclusion arrived at by a layman i.e. me after reading some books on a variety of nature cure books. quite a few of the men living in hills are also affected by this butterfly like pigmentation.
It my case, it can't be hormones, for it developed it after I had my children.
On my part I am doing everything practically doable to sieve out toxins from the food I take, facilitate my digestive system by eating slowly, masticating food thoroughly, eating a lot of natural fiber, keeping constipation at bay, doing some exercise, following a routine etc.
I hope to cure myself by carrying on doing all this, slowly but surely. But, I want to unravel this mystery of heredity.
Any informed input will be highly welcome and appreciated.
I've similiar problem. I'm 29 now and never been pregnant or used BCPs but still developed pigmentation. Like you, I always had very clear skin until 4 years ago (also started on my nose and spread very slowly).
I've come across two people who have had succesful clearing (One has with grapefruit see extract and another one used this protocol mentioned in the acneyoda book).
I thought Liver Flushes will help a lot so was thinking of doing that but after reading your post, feel a little bit discouraged. you have done so many. I'm very impressed.
Can I ask you few questions?
1. Have you taken any supplements to balance hormones, like EFAs etc?
2. Do you have regular bowel movements?
3. Do you take any supplements regularly?
4. How much lightening and clearing have you had with the protocol you followed?
5. Do you think liver cleanses will help me?
6. I know that I've to do a thorough Colon Cleanse first but am not able to find something that'll suit me..do you have any recommendation?
8. Do you think you might have candida? have you foloowed a candida diet or cleanse?
9. Do you take any probiotics, digestive bitters etc.?
I know these are lost of questions but you can reply in few words..I'll really appreciate your response!
No, I never took any hormones, for my cycle has been predictable to the hour. Even other wise I would never have! These things are too sensitive to be tempered with.
i thought I had regular bowel movements till I learned that regular meant soft, non formed motions twice a day.To achieve that I take two glasses of water the warmest i can like according to the season, first thing in the morning, no refined sugar, no refined flour, nothing fried or spicy, nothing preserved or out of season food imported from far away,no dairy, no meat.Tall order I know but my taste buds are in my brain. Unless brain finds it healthy, my taste buds don't relish it.in fact not much enters my mouth that won't nourish me.
I'a rather take foods providing a crtain nutrient than take supplement. These days I am finding ways to boost my hemoglobin naturally by taking raisins, dates, and green leafy vegetables.
4. I have had enough clearing/fading of the pigment to keep going. And pigmentation is no longer my identification mark as it might have been earlier.
5. to clean intestine I had used something offered on net.I have forgotton now.
6. I am not taking any probiotics.
7. For probable candida I am using oil of oregano, internally and locally on my toe.
Hey Shaffaf, what a progress you have made. What would recommend for a person like me who has had pigmentation problem since four years now. My BMs are not regular and I want to get rid of this problem or lighten it (just like you). Is it possible to talk to you on the phone?
I'm 29, female, dont have any other health problems.
I'll really appreciate your help!!
You can email me your number or I can email you mine (and set up a time)..hope you live in US?
Good Luck, with this determination, I'm sure you can beat it and this has given me hope as well!!
Lots of best wishes to you!
Yes, use it as a gentle scrub every day. Make baking soda into a paste with warm water and gently massage onto face and rinse off after 2 mins or so. Use it gently, don't scratch your skin. Works wonders. I'd love to know if you have results. I think you should see a difference after 30 days. I used to have a brown patch and it has gone.
Hi, you can use the following methods
- Chemical peeling, such as glycolic acid, can be used to reduce pigmentation on face
- Topical application of lime juice might prove beneficial because of natural bleach content.
- Cucumber juice applied to face aids to decrease any color marks in your face.
- Gentle exfoliating cleanser helps to remove dead skin cells and use a skin toner to close the pores
- Aloe Vera juice contains anti-inflammatory properties that help to reduce redness and skin irritation.
- Apply pure vitamin E oil to pigmentation on face
I basically use Aloe Vera cream twice a day and chemical peeling every week.

So I need some help figuring out the root cause of my constipation. I am an otherwise healthy 27 year old female who has been suffering from constipation for the last year and a half. I went through a heavy metal cleanse with different homeopathic medicines and tinctures under the care of a homeopath. This is when all my problems started. Previous to this, I had the normal 3+ bowel movements a day. Always had a good bm 20-30 minutes after eating and always complete movements. During the cleanse, I started having intense Sugar and carb cravings unlike anything I've experienced. I also became constipated and would go a day or two without a bm or I would only have one bm per day and felt uncomfortably full, like my digestion just went down the hole. The homeopath, through ART (autonomic response testing), said I had high levels of nickel, copper, cadmium, lead, and aluminum. During the treatment, I expressed the new issues I was having and she basically just kept switching out different homeopathic tinctures but the constipation remained and the bloating was just aweful. I decided to stop seeing her as she obviously didn't know what she was doing.
Fast forward to now and I am still struggling with the constipation. I did a lot of research and adopted an all raw diet as I also discovered that I had developed intolerance to a number of foods during my stint with the homeopath. Going all raw helped me for a while and I was able to achieve a bm everyday and sometimes several times in a day. But I still have days where I won't go at all and I can feel the food just sitting in there. I have been taking the Barefoot Herbalist's LBB herbs for a few months but I still only manage to achieve only one bm a day lately..if that. I drink plenty of water, my diet is obviously incredibly clean, I exercise 5-6 days out of the week and I do not take any prescription meds. I am honestly getting very frustrated trying to figure out the root cause for the change in bowel habits.
Here are my thoughts as to what might be causing the constipation/change in bowel habits:
*Parasites- I have never done a parasite cleanse but am preparing to soon. I have heard that they can clump up in the colon and cause a change in bowel habits. I occasionally will have very thin, pencil-like stools which leads me to believe that they are clumping up in my colon to cause more narrow stool.
*Over-burdened Liver- I have never done a Liver Flush or taken liver supporting herbs but I am also going to embark down that path here soon to see if that may help. I have taken prescription meds before in the past as well as antibiotics..just not very much or for very long. I also experimented with drugs as a teen as well as did my share of drinking. I do still smoke weed but wouldn't think that would have a huge negative effect regardless.
My last thought I'd that maybe the homeopath stirred up the metals and was not well-educated on clearing them from the body in the proper way so maybe they just re-circulated in my system and caused the constipation?! I really just need some advice as to where I should start in trying to fix this because I do not want to have to rely on enenas and laxatives of any kind! Please do not give me "constipation remedies" because I can assure you I have tried EVERYTHING out there as I have perished curezone as well as other self-healing sites and I do not want a "quick fix" solution but to rather get to the root of the issue. Thank you!
i have learned that the professionals may be right about constipation, it is caused by depression.
the colon holds a lot of serotonin, and when you are sad, nervous, or stressed all the time it causes the colon to seize up, and send the serotonin to the brain to compensate.
wish i could say go take an anti depressant as that relieves many people with constipation, but i don't and understand not wanting to make drug companies and doctors richer from your pain, plus the dangerous side effects associated with prescriptions.
Sman1109- I'm sure depression can lead to or be a cause of depression but I am far from being depressed and never really have been my entire life. I know that mentality affects bowel movements but I know for a fact that I do not have any mental issues that could or would be causing the constipation. Thank you for your reply!
Hummus got my constipation issues fixed.
They have different flavors of it. Mine is the Red Pepper Hummus.
I eat the whole container of it, about 10 oz. with my favorite crackers.
P.S. Cashews have a regularity effect on me also.
Eat cashews like dessert after your supper.
El cheapo halves and pieces work fine, and cost less than whole cashews.
Hello! I am a 23 yr old female and for the past 4 months I have been dealing persistent abdominal bloating/distention. I wake up with a bloated stomach and it progressively gets larger throughout the day, even after just drinking a glass of water. I have not seen my normal belly since this problem occurred. I have a moderately healthy diet incorporate foods from all food groups and indulging here and there time to time. I exercise regularly, am at healthy weight for my height, and drink lots of water. I am currently taking a probiotic daily.
Here are the following tests I have had done...all their results were normal.
- abdominal ultrasound - normal
- transvaginal ultrasound - normal
- sitz marker test (tracking how quick I empty my bowels) - normal
- bloodwork: celiac, thyroid, anemia - all three normal
- stool test for candida - normal
- mood problems: depression/anxiety/irritability
- can get easily constipated, but past couple months I have been going regularly for the most part (plus Sitz Marker test revealed I am
- Also my I breakout easily...it's not serious to be acne and easily covered up, but I do have blemishes/red marks on my cheeks
- low energy and fatigue easily.
My GI-NP and GP don't seem to know where else to go from here. I have bacterial overgrowth test scheduled, but the lab isn't giving me the appointment until the end of October. So, just last week my GP prescribed me an antibiotic (Cephalexan) and Diflucan (for possible yeast infection). No help. Last week, my GI-NP prescribed me Flagyl. I read the reviews and am apprehensive about taking it, so I have not started that yet.
I don't know what to do. I have been limiting and reducing my gluten/dairy/sugar intake at home. But of course when I go out to eat in social settings, it can be difficult. Next week I will be getting my own place, so I will be more strict about my diet then. (At home with family members who don't have a strict diet can be tough as well).
**If anyone has some insight on what is going on with me it would be greatly appreciated!***
Additionally - if I go on a diet cutting out gluten/dairy and if I have a "cheat day" and eat a piece of cake for my birthday coming up, will that basically cancel out all the dieting I had been doing previously and bring me back to square one?
Also, I have done some surface research on candida and leaky gut. I had the stool test done for candida which came out normal, however I read that sometimes they can give you false negatives. Should I still try a candida diet or just one of those diets in general that cut out gluten/dairy/sugars.
Also, would I benefit from candida eliminating products/leaky gut support products? I've been reading about CandiGone and Dr. Axe's Leaky Gut Support pack.
I made an experiment it involved me stopping the use of JELMW water for up to one year.
Well I didn't quite make it a year and as a result after 24 hours since having my first glass of John Ellis Living Water machine water in 9 months I want to report my observations.
first, I want to states that during this last 9 months I have watched my over all energy drop. Also during this time I went from sound sleep without medications or vitamins. Also I saw an increase in my blood pressure levels, heart rate, and blood thickness. When I would cut myself the blood did not run it generally clotted very quickly as sign of blood thickness which raises blood pressure 112/80 with an average 72 heart beats per min.
Also, I take Tramadol regularly for back pain. Not everyday maybe once or twice a week. As a side note some lower back pain can be attributed to constipation. Something that happens when you used Tramadol. When drinking JELWM and taking Tramadol I had normal evacuation each Morning that is normal for me. While not drinking JELWM water my system would backup anywhere from12 to 24 hours before the next evacuation. So there was a difference.
Upon drinking me first glass of JELWM water in 9 months I had to immediate reactions. As soon as the water hit my stomach my esophagus and stomach had a refreshed feeling. I can’t explain the feeling except to say “ah, refreshing”. Also there was that sort of light headedness I experienced the first time I drank JELWM water 5 years ago.
Later in the day I took my Tramadol 100mg within 20 minutes it seemed for the first time in 9 months100mg was to much (I think I will half my does to 50mgwhere I was 10 months ago with JELWM water). The medication went to work faster than with normal tap water. Also this morning about 12 hours after taking my medication I had a normal bowel evacuation right on time no constipation.
Yesterday, my blood pressure after drinking JELWM water went down to 100/70 with 54 beats per minute. My heart beat is slower but if your getting enough oxygen to your blood it is ok. I felt no dizziness or anything from this slow heart beat. This was noticeable before I stopped drinking JELWM water. This morning my blood pressure was the same with a heart beat around 58. Believe it or not this is my norm when drinking JELWM water. I purposely picked a scab off from a wound I got earlier this week. When it originall happened it barely bled. But after taking the scab off it bleed for a few minutes before stopping. This was observed to be normal when I was younger and after drinking JELWM water.
I slept sound last night even though I got up to urinate twice. Falling back to sleep was no problem. Over the last 9 months and before I ever started drinking JELWM water this has been a problem if I awake I will have difficulty falling back to sleep. Not sure why. Note: I do sleep better on the nights I take multivitamins. So I will observe tonight when I don’t take any vitamins. I will place a note at the bottom of this post tomorrow.
In conclusion. There is no doubt that JELWM water does in fact have an effect on my body. Being normal I would say this same effects could be noticed upon anyone’s body though they may vary in intensity. The water does in fact soften stool and allow for normal evacuation. Some will even have more evacuations or more frequent if they are less than everyday. Blood pressure is affected by the water in take and blood thickness is thinned. And it gets more medication to your blood quicker and in more quantity than regular tap water.
F.Y.I. the pH of the distilled water was 6.5 neutral it is not acidic or alkaline. pH of the Runoff was 8.3 (hard water and very alkaline). but it still taste good and was very clear. Mix the two and you will get around 7.0 which is still neutral. pH will vary depending on your water source.
I will start making JE living water on a regular basis again for the health benefits far outweigh the cost of its operation.
I hope this has been helpful to those who are interested in this Machine.
No Mike I don't make anything from anyone. Only once did I get a "good blog" from John Ellis but nothing more.
I do this for the people and for personal understanding.
I currently live in the Philippines I am an Independent Christian Missionary. I have no connection to John Ellis, his company or anyone related to him.
People like to know things about products (so do I) a friend here bought the LWM5 and has given me runoff water since 2005 then in 2008 he loaned me his machine when he went back to the States. Since then I bought new hoses and UV pin lights for it that is all.
I noticed peculiar reactions from day one. so after I got the machine from him i decided to research more about the machine and figure out how it works. I read all the associate patents to the machine and some patents associates to those. I did some testing and had some sample sent to lab. I recorded mine and people I have given it to Blood pressure before use and after and there is a difference right away.
I would make a few changes in the machine. 1) I would use top end electrical parts. 2) a little thicker stainless steel for the housing and 3)I would have the heating elements made or covered in ceramic to eliminate calcium build up for less cleaning of the heating units.
Again I do not receive anything for what I have written. I did it for the people and myself.
I do not know John Ellis nor have I met him. I do not know anyone in his employ or who work for his company in any way. Nor do I know anyone in his family. I had a friend buy parts for me and when she spoke to the person to order the new UV Pin Lamps she informed me the person was very helpful and cordial.
I have read blundi's posts and from his very first post when he described what was going on it was obvious that he did not use the machine properly. I have also read the debunked Science article a few years ago. I am not sure why we can observe things that the Debunk Science article did not. It could be they had some sort of bias against the machine before they did their study or they failed to read the associated patents that explain the process by which is needed to purify polluted water. Understanding the patents and the machine as a whole is important to observing it's effects. I assure you I have read hundreds of hours of material associated with the patent of the machine and the process of water purification.
I have also read upwards of 1,000 posts here under the Warning thread most of it is nonsense, assertions, conjecture and speculation woven with accusation and slander mixed with just enough truth to make it seem logical.
If anyone wants to donate their machine to me send me a PM and I will instruct them where to send it and to claim the value verified by their sales receipt and they can get a receipt so they can use it for a tax deduction on their IRS income tax.
Technically you are correct that 6.5 is acidic. However, when we talk of water being NEUTRAL in a pH range from 6.2 to 7.2 we are saying that water within this range will not raise or lower you acidic count in your body that is why we call this the neutral range. Water by nature is an acidic compound and was once scientifically referred to as an acid. But water at 6.5 will not raise acidity in the body.
Remember the JE distilled is 6.5 good rain water the same. The runoff has been recorded to go as high as 8.2. So like I said if there was a claim of alkaline water it was not in the distilled product but the runoff product.
I am currently doing an Aquaponics project and am in constant contact with water, fish and plant growth. Studying water as I have for the last 6 years has become quite a Science with me. I have had natural water from levels of 0.01ppm (using a TDS meter) 5.0pH (using Chemical test)in rain water rain water range is from 5.0pH (acid rain) to 6.5pH/11ppm (neutral rain). And 225ppm or 8.2pH to as high as 550ppm or 9.0pH in shallow and deep wells. I have heard of water being as high as 900ppm/10.5pH but that would be in volcanic hot springs.
Any alkaline water above 7.2 will raise your alkalinity but people need to be careful as making your body to alkaline is unhealthy and will cause problems. If you want to lean your body to a higher alkalinity drink water at or around 7.2. say 7.1-7.3 there is over 300 increments higher alkalinity from 7.1-7.3.
When using alkaline to counteract acid we must remember the bio-availability of other minerals and chemicals within the body. A balance is what people are looking for to neutralize acidity or alkalinity. Magnesium is an alkaline that needs other chemicals and minerals to benefit the body. If not a buildup of magnesium can be dangerous to your health. High Calcium is linked to high blood pressure and counteracts some heart medications.
Then there are a lot of questions about the additives today in water for example Florine/Floride compounds. Florine added to 7.0 water will increase it alkalinity. At the same time as it builds up in your body and your bodies reaction is to raise acid levels to try and neutralize those two chemicals. Your body can raise and lower its acid level naturally but it has a more difficult time raising and lowering its alkaline levels.
Chlorine is a quandary as in certain forms it is acidic and in others it is alkaline. When oxidized it is acidic when Hydrogenated it is alkaline go figure. It is known as a Halogen at any rate it is not a good chemical to be taking into your body. Once in your body depending on bio-availability of other chemicals and minerals it will either cause acidity or alkalinity.
This is where we begin to see why you do not want to high a pH. your body is looking to balance itself naturally. when it does your bodies pH should be between 6.2-7.2 or Neutral range.
Then there is diet. Vinegars (i.e.hot sauces etc.), alcoholic beverages (even natural brews and wines), certain vegetables and of course meat raise the acid level. Your body has no way to raise it alkalinity naturally except to take in more minerals like Magnesium, Potassium and Calcium. And depending on your health some of these can help but for others it will do more harm.
alkalinity for preventive measures should be done while not going above 7.2. As people who drink high alkaline levels of water are prone to Kidney and Gall stones, mineral deposits in the tissue and blood, and bone burrs, skin calcification, Hair loss, etc...
A study with Chemo patients revealed that their bodies instinctively raised acidic levels naturally to counteract the medical procedure of using alkaline chemicals to eliminate Cancer. In this state a patient tends to vomit because in the stomach Chemicals from the liver, kidneys and the pancreas and certain glands are trying to balance out the alkalinity by producing acid when the chemo meds are taken, this will cause vomiting. To leave the body of the cancer patient in a high alkaline state will eventually kill the patient so it is done only for a certain amount of time then stopped. If it works they will wait awhile and try again if needed.
Thanks for all the information you have posed about the J.E. machine.
I have seen alkaline water pH 9.7, but yet have an ORP of +230. Yet some ionizers as I have seen can get water of upto -800 ORP. This water might not have the adverse effects in the kidneys as it does not have bicarbonates in it.
I know you have said that JE machine 'runoff' has an alkiline pH, but could this be because you have hard water and the runoff is not really distilled? what is your water pH prior to going into the machine?
Do you know what is the ORP prior and after going into the machine, through the distiller and runoff part? That for me is an interesting questions.
Hi Chette, Thanks for answering. Oxidation reduction potential is the tendency to take electrons from substances, acids tend to oxidase metals when cations are replaced with Hydrogen. When the ORP is negative it means that the water provides electrons to free radicals species in the body. That is like an antioxidant water. Is very beneficial. You can buy water machines that create negative ORP's of -700. I think I am getting JE machine any way, despite what people say, I like people that do new stuff and invent new things. I can test for ORP and pH and other things too.
Thanks for posting...
PS I also think that this machine might have some cavitation between the two chambers. Aka the machine "breath" between the two chambers depending on how strong and sudden this is can/could and this is just my theory cause cavitation and hence extract energy out of the vacuum (see Dirac Sea theory) therefore causing wider angles in the water. Temperature itself, I think could not cause this.
Maybe next time you'll do a test involving "good science", instead of giving us anecdotal evidence from one person (you). Good Science involves things like, oh, let's say, a double blind study of 50 people, (half who have done the john ellis water regimen and half who didn't) might be considered "good science" but your anecdote only tells me you have convinced yourself that the water helps you. This is what is known as "The Placebo Effect, and Big Pharma has made billions and billions of dollars off of these placebos, (the SSRI anti-depression meds are the biggest scam in the drug industry today) so why should people like john ellis miss out on the big bucks that these corporate liars are raking in? Did you get any medical help from a real doctor in the year or so that you went without this wonderful water? Gee, maybe that helped, or maybe your symptoms subsided because of other factors that you don't understand. Let me tell you about a conversation I had with my sister-in-law. She is a big proponent of that supplement that you take before getting on an airplane, (I've forgotten the name) and it supposedly helps prevent you catching a cold or flu bug, and it was "invented by a teacher". I asked her how she knew it worked. She said "because I have never caught a cold on an airplane since I started taking it". Then I asked her how many times she had caught a cold on an airplane before she took the supplement, and she refused to give me an answer. Gee, I wonder why. Incidentally, the scam artist (the "teacher")that invented the product had to pay millions of dollars in fines for lying in his advertising. Did he go to prison? hell, no. He's made over a hundred million dollars off of his lies, and the fines were just the cost of doing business. Just because john ellis hasn't been convicted yet doesn't mean he isn't an accomplished liar. Medical "cures" are the easiest scams to get away with because it's so hard to prove the lie, and apparently john ellis has figured this out. He makes claims that the water has been tested by a school of medicine, and Dole foods, yet he provides no proof of these claims on his site. He writes in an odd style, with whole sentences where all the letters are capitalized, as if he has to yell at you to get his message across. I've seen that kind of sentence composition on Conspiracy sites, and people who write that way always sound unhinged. His sentences drift on, don't even make sense at times, and I wonder if he's suffering from dementia or something similar. He's fond of hanging up on complainers who say his product doesn't work, so apparently he can't defend his statements or he wouldn't hang up on unsatisfied customers. It sounds to me as if he's made a fortune off of desperate people ready to believe anything.
Actually there others like me who have the same things to report about the effects of the LWM water product. I don't know John Ellis personally. If I ever meet him I have some questions for him which cannot be simply asked in a forum. I would need a few hours with him without interruption.
MorWeed asked: Did you get any medical help from a real doctor in the year or so that you went without this wonderful water?
No, I am actually in good health and did not need a doctor. though i still have minor back pain. I stopped all use of tramadol for the time being. I did go for a physical examine before stopping the water and I had one before I started back up. that because of the bradacardia condition. I am not taking meds for that condition because sometimes it is a sign of a healthy heart.
During the time with no LWM water product my blood pressure had risen. I do a daily blood pressure, once in the AM and once at night. also my bad cholesterol rose from medium to the high end of the medium range levels that is not a lot but enough in terms of bad cholesterol. I never changed my diet at any time coffee, tea, lean meats, veggies and 3 to 4 quarts of tap or purified water a day. There was nothing to cause any of the things to subside once I started drinking the water again. so I observed that without the water my blood thickened, blood pressure rose, bad cholesterol went up and stools became harder. today my cholesterol is mid range again my blood pressure in down and heart beat still the same 54-68 on average.
I would never label the LWM as a cure or cure all for anything. Like all things it works well with other factors like diet, clean living i.e. no smoking and over drinking of alcoholic beverages, no unnecessary or recreational drug use, and of course regular exercise.
I would say it is a helpful in lowering blood pressure and bad cholesterol but only in a limited range it does not lower any lower than the point difference between high and medium levels. While i used to have to eat lots of Papaya's to get a laxative effect to help my bowel movement I no longer need it when drinking the LWM water product.
I cannot answer for his writing style but for me he was placing emphasis on the words not screaming. It used to be in old journalistic circles that caps and bold were for emphasis not yelling. That changed with the home computer age. so give a little grace.
And again I cannot answer the secrets of a mans heart and I don't think you can either. None of us can read another persons mind or heart only God can. But we can read into someone else's writing with our own heart. And by your reply I could make judgements and accusations concerning you and your actions and words. but then again I could be wrong as to what I see and read as I am missing so much that is needed in communicating with people in this format i.e. eye contact, intonation of speech, body language and of course knowledge of the person I am communicating with from in person interaction.
No man forces another each is left to make up his own mind. I only wanted to report "My Observations", which when shared with others helps them to make more beneficial decisions as your post will do the same.
I don't have to prove beyond all doubt that Ellis water is all that is claimed because I can but a unit and try it for myself. It's expensive so I have to be either real curious, or satisfied I could get my money restored in large degree should I find it lacking. So, I looked for a used one. I thought there should be some out there somewhere that people decided to test or found one in a thrift store or something like that. Nada. They don't exist. I mean I've been looking for 2 years and the one I found was snapped up so fast I couldn't believe it. No one gets rid of these things and the only reason I can imagine is; they find it to be valuable to use. No? Thousands of these units are out there and I can't get a break off the price at all? That's a message in and of it's self.
Wed. Day 1 Prepared for first run February 22th 2012
Thurs. Day2 Made first batch in small 375ml bottles approx. 16 Feb 23
Fri. Day3 Handed out one each to PaulB,and JoanB, PaulS and MikeS, Hansi, Tony, Oma, Toby, Thomas, Leslie so far three with metallic aftertaste experience, four I did not witness first taste
Sat. Day4 Made another batch approx. 11 L distillate, brought upstairs and filled container for drinking water regular use, filled cat dish also for first time. Noticed urine flow stronger, also sex better than usual!
Sun. Day5 Drinking water regularly, water makes me feel fuller in the stomach. Dull ache in my head seems to be dissipating a little. This is great news as this ache has been an ongoing issue for years and in my opinion has kept me from thinking clearly and more intelligently for years. Urine flow even better.
Mon. Day6 Noticed I didn’t have to get up at night for a bathroom visit. Normal routine was just about every night. Mind feels, “clearer”. Whatever blockage I experience in the head has changed, for the better. However not 100% yet.
Tues. Day7 Mind feels, “clearer”. Whatever blockage I experience in the head has changed, for the better. However not 100% yet.
Wed. Day8 Urine flow is now what I would consider normal. Only when smoking does the flow revert to not as fast. Smoke one cigarette a day occasionally none.
Thurs Day9 Joey (8yr old Boxer) loves the water and drinks fully. Even more than usual. Both dogs on raw food and usual don’t require that much. Larry (8yr old Boston) drinks very little. Haven’t seen him drink yet. Dogs left for home.
Fri. Day10 All water for drinking is 100% Light distilled now. Previously mixed 50/50 with RO filtered (remineralized w coral calcium) water. Old cat(20+)refuses to drink. Only wants to drink from toilet. Trying to keep doors closed to toilets.
Sat. Day11 No changes in people. Perfected techniques that ensure water is properly distilled. First batches were run through to hot.
Sun Day12 Started giving water to Tia for lunch at school. Toby still wants apple juice. No obvious changes in kids or mum yet. All of us are in good health.
Mon Day14 All those I first gave water to had no positive feedback. Probably because of machine running to hot. Gave out more of the “good stuff”.
Tues Day 15 No changes, Taking all supplements with 100% distilled
Day 16 No Changes
Thur Day 17 No Changes
Friday Day 18 Spoke with most of the people I gave water to and most feel no difference. Others were insignificant
I continued drinking only John Ellis distilled water for a total of 3 months with no changes to diet. Approximately two months in I felt my joints aching more than usual. At 3 months my nails were brittle, joints ached incessantly and I felt as though my health was rapidly deteriorating. At this time I injured a tendon in my foot which still has not healed. Suspecting the water I started to add a high quality mineral solution back into the water(60PPM) and taking joint supplements. It is now mid July 2012 and I am having difficultyt getting back to normal health even after juicing for the last four weeks
There are benefits to ingesting pure distilled water temporarily in order to flush out the urinary tract and body. Also the dull ache in my head has gotten better. However the distilled is leaching more minerals from the body especially from the skeletal structure than are being replaced through food. The rate this happens is dependant on the quality of food also. However I believe good food will only delay the onset of mineral depletion in the body.
Mr.Ellis’ water machine does not do what he claims it will. In my opinion 90% of the health claims made are outright lies.
Although distilled is easily available, distilled from a plastic container has already been compromised. Due to its solvent action large amounts of impurities are leached from the plastic that cannot be checked for with a TDS meter. In order to make pure colloidal solutions one needs to start with pure distilled water. I was unable to get the JE machine to produce pure enough water even when using RO water as a supply. The JE machine is a mediocre distiller at best. It has some quirks and I wouldn’t use it to treat extremely dirty water as it will let significant amounts of dissolved solids through. The UV light is good if you have bacteria in the water but I don’t think the LM-5 with two lights is worth the huge extra cost seeing as it will not make any more water per hour and is actually the exact same unit with two UV lamps.
So if you have a need for a water distiller I can’t recommend the John Ellis LM-4. If you are looking for a cure all water miracle you will have to look elsewhere. Also recombining both the overflow water and distilled is pointless. Why purify water only to recombine it with the same effluents you just distilled out.
The claims about water structuring is in my opinion pure marketing fantasy. I am of the opinion that the John Ellis Water Machine I tested is a fraud along with its’ inventor.
Thank you, Mr. Boch, for your candor and observations.
There is one observation that I think is poignant, yours is the only post that details both some benefits along with an overall negative take on the product.
I read some time ago how forums like this and many others will have shils seed opposing info into the mix to get a more accurate post moved to the bottom of the page where most will not scroll down to read thus obviating any likelihood of detrimental info.
I was looking for reasons to buy this product and I find myself skeptical at best. I suppose a windfall might change my mind but I'll probably try the Berkey first. However, I am not opposed to the free sample that JE offers. Unless you happen to be in or near PHX, AZ?
It is now 2016, August to be more precise, and I am wondering how things are going with your John Ellis water machine. Have you had breakdowns? Parts replacements? Continued good health? All the controversy about this machine seems to have died down, but the praise has as well.
I really am very worried right now. I've been eating a strict diet of chicken, veggies, eggs, and yogurt for about a week now. My bowel movements were fine for the first few days but since then I've had terrible constipation. I've tried to use the toilet at least 10 times now to no avail.
I had constipation before as well but usually wouldn't have a movement for a day or two. Nowhere near this long.
Could this possibly be a sign of candida die-off? Should I add some brown rice into my diet or something?
I'm not supplementing anything right now, just fixed my diet up. Did I do it too fast?
Could some of my nutriets like magnesium be low? Maybe I should pick up a multivitamin. Or maybe I'm not eating enough fiber or something. I'm not a nutritionist so I'm clueless here.
Can someone please help me out here? It would be much appreciated, thanks.
How does you colon / large intestine feel ? Is it full ?
You can with some olive oil stick your finger up your bum and remove anything that is blocking the exit. I believe this is called "digital extraction" by doctors. Wash your hands afterwards obviously. You can try this and see if it helps.
Also squatting Indian style (with the feet flat on the floor) is good, but don't force things, be gentle.
You could try an enema to gently soften the stools.
Exercise is good, it gets the bodies muscles and bowels moving. 30 minutes of walking or marching on the spot. Keep the body moving.
A strict diet of chicken eggs yogurt and veggies is not really very strict, it is quite luxurious in fact.
You would do better with much more fluids like soup. Better for now you don't put any more solids in there, keep it liquid.
Eggs / yogurt / chicken ... these can all cause difficulties for the bowel.
Veggies / fruit / liquids are simpler for the body to digest.
In an emergency situation like yours, do not try oral laxatives, use an enema laxative. The drug store has something called Fleet Enema. Buy it, take it home and follow the directions. Then you can use something like Milk of Magnesia once a day. MOM is gentle and not over-powering.
I do not know how much protein you are eating and how much vegetables but the protein could be causing the constipation. I had this when I ate lots of fish and eggs and little vegetables ie low carb. The constipation became terrible and it was like attempting to shit bricks. I have never been so constipated as that time.
Lecithin can be very helpful to help move the colon and is a sign that the body is deficient of this important nutrient which helps the liver and the phosphatidyl Choline helps to stimulate the nerve impulses to the bowel. It's why people become constipated when their detox capacity is exceeded.
I would get some powdered sunflower lecithin ASAP and mix about 80 grams in 500ml of water with a hand blender. Then take maybe 12 teaspoons twice daily. Be aware that this might really loosen your bowel so you will need to adjust this dose so that your bowel is moving at a comfortable rate. It works wonders and is the healthiest method of moving the colon IMO. Triphala is not a real substitute IMO and I have tried it myself.
If you can pick up any type of lecithin from a shop it would be helpful until you can order some powder because I do not think that you should wait. You do not want haemorrhoids.
Enemas are a good idea as suggested, but a warm water enema should be enough, you do not have to do a Fleet enema. If you are going to do them regularly, I would suggest buying a stainless steel enema bucket to make your life easier.
I keep Renew Life Cleansemore on hand for occasional constipation. For me, one seems to be be too much so I`ll open a capsule and take half. It is horrid tasting but it works, and of course you can always just leave the capsules whole. It contains triphala and magnesium but no senna or cascara sagrada, the latter two can be habit forming.
In my most recent research, I have come across constipation as a symptom of hypothyroidism.
Chicken and egg whites constipated my son terrible.
If constipation is really bad a micro enema is better than ordinary Enemas.
It sounds to me like you have a dysbiosis of some sorts.
My son can't eat chicken at all.
You can always blend food with water until you get your constipation under control.
Hubner Gastrointestinal Silica Gel cuts through dysbiosis, it is not a permanent cure for candida or gut dysbiosis but it does help a lot, however when you first start to take it, it can have a tendency to slightly constipate, this is temporary, but you would need to be going to the toilet before you started it and taking some sort of laxative when you begin it. This might be something to consider when you have bowel movements again. The gel is very good at restoring bowel movements to a normal movement, like I said though it is not a permanent cure but can really help in desperate times.
So, while I've been trying to keep my diet cleans as possible...I'm still having a really horrible amount of sharp pain at my lower right quadrant, near my bellybutton. Sometimes it feels like a ball of sharp spikes, and other times it might spread throughout my upper region as just all out cramping...either way, it sucks.
I just feel like I'm at a standstill here, I've been taking bromelian to try and break up biofilms, triphala powder capsuls/cascara sagrada (or magnesium citrate if really desperate, this always leads to horrible cramping later in the evening in my lower abdomen though so try and avoid it) I still go to the bathroom multiple times in the morning, and even if it seems I've passed a decent/normal amount, the spot still hurts! I take digestive enzymes with every meal, used to do ACV but with gastritis always looming I have to be careful with that...doesn't d anything anyways.
I'm just so frustrated, it seems every-time I have a few good days I end up right back with the spot hurting horribly, whats especially unnerving is for the past few months I wake up at just have an inordinate amount of pain/pressure in that area that settles into the cramping...but isn't much better at all.
Also been doing CDS...which has helped my clarity a bit, but nothings really helping with the pain and it's very detrimental to my life right now.
I'm just so..exasperated right now, I go so much and it still hurts, why isn't there any relief? How can I get my bowels to work properly? I can't do probitics as they just mess things up worse, and obviously pain relievers don't do anything...
Anyways, any input is appreciated...as always
Ps, was bothering me so much gave in and went to another gastro doctor...as usual, completely useless, just told me to take more miralax, but that just aggravates the cramping even more...
I take a carrier oil such as almond oil or olive oil in the palm of my hand and add a few drops of peppermint essential oil to it and rub it on my stomach where it hurts. This relieves the pain for me.
I've been attempting to do juice fasts for two weeks to clear my system and help get rid of my extremely bad constipation before I start my diet that includes whole fruits/veggies and chicken but after 3 days of going into the diet I throw up a ton of mucusy type liquid. I usually feel fine after I'm done but I'm wondering if this a sign that I need to do something before I attempt this and that theres another problem or what.
My situation that I'm currently dealing with is bad constipation/my stools are either sliver shaped or round and small, and when I eat problematic foods I produce a lot of mucus in my throat/nose either instantly or a minute or so after.
So I have a gajillion problems, I am positive it is from a terrible diet from all my travelling. Mostly fast food and soda. Anyway to make a long story short I developed arthritis. I went to a doctor and have rheumatoid factor and high sed rate and creative protein. I also have the gene hlab27 and AS. My back pain problems go all the way back to my 20s where I threw my back out constantly.
I believe AS couple with a terrible diet led me to arthritis and many other problems. About a year and a half ago I weighed 316 lbs and was convinced by doctors to get gastric bypass. Well, I decided I did not want to do that and began to change my diet and fasted with a lot of research. My research never came across getting gallstone. So now I have a gallstone and I have a lot of problems with digestion. For awhile I had diarrhea or constipation at random and couldn't go out or do anything. After while of dieting and losing weight my bowels are a little more controllable but still not normal.
I had an ultrasound and I have one stone that they saw near the duct. I know it is there because I can feel it all the time. It isn't terribly painful but it's annoying. I mainly have problems with constipation, and seems like it takes days for food to digest.
Right now my diet is chicken and fish with kale, chard, avocados, olives, pickles, sauerkraut, carrots, blueberries, apples, raspberries, grapes, broccoli, beets, flax milk, coconut oil, bone broth, bananas, tomatoes, and that's about it. Every now and then I get gluten free pizza or tacos. I avoid gluten, dairy, and any added sugar.
I am taking these supplements for over a year. Fish oil, turmeric, glucosamine, chondroiton, msm, ox bile salts, vitamin d3 and a long list of digestive enzymes.
I will be starting rowachol, interfase, glutamine, and montmorency tart cherry juice this weekend.
I am down to 240lbs but have recently flared up with back pain that is bad enough to keep me in bed for almost 2 months now. So I haven't been able to exercise or work or anything except focus on my diet. Currently, whenever I take bile salts my gallbladder lights up and I feel it doing something. Whenever I eat I feel disgusting with belching and gas so I refuse to eat out with anyone despite my healthy choices.
I am always nauseated and fatigued to the point where I can't even get up from bed. I have to fight with myself constantly to go to the bathroom or move from my bed to my desk or to walk my dog. It seems like all that takes the life out of me. Then I can't sleep for more than 3-5 hours at a time. I used to sleep 8-10 hours every night and really miss that.
I have been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and Anklyosing arthritis. Although I am sure that I do not have rheumatoid arthritis and everything is related to AS and digestive problems. A doctor mentioned I may have high levels of mercury but do not know where they found this as o haven't been tested for it. I do have silver filling in 3 teeth and plan to have them removed for compositors as I can afford it.
Right now I would just like my digestive system to get in check, I am so sick of feeling nauseated and weak all day every day. I rarely have a good day anymore. If I do then it's full of pain from inflammation.
I wanted to know if there are any other things I should be doing to help my digestive system? I don't know what else can possibly help besides the supplements I am getting this weekend. I have eliminated all the foods that trigger pain or make my stomach worse. Most of that had been bread, mangos oddly, dairy such as milk or cheese, the worst pain comes from bacon and eggs.
I do take 5-10mg of prednisone every day otherwise the pain is too much and my tongue swells and I can't function much at all. It makes losing weight very difficult but I am afraid to lose anymore and form more gallstones. My doctors are wanting to start me on humira which I am afraid of, the side effects for that are twice as scary as prednisone which I have been on for nearly a year now off and on. I haven't stopped taking it for several months now.
I do drink only purified water or core water or electrolyzed water when available. I do not drink coffee or sodas or milk and rarely any juice. I eat very little and do not lose weight unless I fast. I blame prednisone for that and wish I could get off it as if I could I feel like I would drop weight fairly easy.
My goal is to get on consentyx for AS, and hopefully heal my stomach, and get off prednisone so I can lose weight and hopefully get back to walking normally again.
Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated and greeted with a warm welcome.
By the way I ordered a ubiome kit which should arrive shortly so I can find out what bacteria is rolling around in my guts. I had an h pylori infection which was eradicated with amoxicillin and some clavumanate or whatever antibiotics which seemed like it was killing me for nearly 3 weeks. I no longer have this infection. I was also on minocycline twice to attempt it as an arthritis treatment but I could not handle the headaches and dizziness. I was also on Meloxicam for months which only helped with pain and seemed to make my life worse.
I have made slight progress with my diet changes as I feel lighter and I am able to actually open and close my hands as before I could not. Right now they are swollen but I am able to use them. I am slightly better off because of it.
Anyway, that's all I can think of to give information about these terrible diseases I have brought upon myself. I am slowly digging myself out of the death trap. I have researched everything on my own so far and have had very little help from doctors at all. So I hope that I can find some advice here.
I have had on and off fecal body odor for a year to two years, and have been odor free for two years. I'll spare you the horror stories of me sitting in class and everyone being disgusted, or the paranoia and scars sprouting from it. But I'm in a place in life where I have healed a lot and feel comfortable sharing information about my experience, and maybe it could help you out.
Symptoms: I wouldn't be able to detect the smell although it was obvious others were really bothered. They described it as poop scented and sewer scented and people across the room would be disgusted. I would be able to smell it for a split second in the morning when I just woke up, or if I was in an unfamiliar environment, or if there was another smell or perfume around, which was very weird. The smell would come and go. Most of the time I'd hear comments, but sometimes there were none at all. Went to about 7 doctor appointments, and all had no results and they denied anything I said. Being around people made me very paranoid and anxious, etc.
What worked in my two year experience and realizations: I was in high school with tons of schoolwork and hectic schedules. That lead to little sleep, high stress, and a bad diet which effected my body greatly. After constant research, remedy failures, and diets, I figured out that the problem was my anus and dairy consumption. My anus wasn't as tight anymore due to high stress, low fiber hard bowel movements, and also from sleeping on my back which put extra pressure on the opening of my anus. That was where the smell was escaping from. It had gotten into a red abnormal color and was itchy at times, which meant that I was leaking traces of feces. I started doing kegels and it returned to a normal tightness and color and it felt normal again.
That in itself solved smell problems but there was still the possibility of the smell still coming out. Long story short through many trials and diets, I realized that dairy consumption was the culprit of smelly poop. My body didn't digest dairy well. After eliminating it from my diet, I stopped having cystic acne problems, slight congestion, and the sewery smell from my poop was gone and barely smelled anymore.
That's pretty much what I did and my life is stress free and normal again. I know it probably won't be relevant or useful to a lot of people but if I could help just one person that would be enough. If you guys have any questions please ask!
That's awesome! There was a man on this forum who was similarly cured with kegels and hemorrhoid cream after one month. I've been discovering the same thing about my smell- my anus seems to have lost its tight seal and itches frequently. I've started kegels 3 weeks ago, along with keeping the area dry with baby powder, and have noticed some improvement with the smell. However, I'm not sure I'm doing the exercises quite right. I have some questions:
1) What exactly was your kegel routine? How often would you do them in a day?
2) How long did you do kegels before the anus issues resolved? How long did you continue doing them after? Do you still do kegels?
3) By eliminating dairy, did you also eliminate butter and yogurt? What about hidden dairy in baked goods or other processed food?
Thanks for sharing!
Thats great to hear you're making some progress.
1) Well I would have a goal to do 100 quality kegels a day: 4 sets of 25, with a moment or two in between each set. I would usually do them while lying on my stomach so I could make sure I was doing them right. I was desperate though, so I did a lot more repetitions throughout my day. If I was sitting down, I'd do 25 or so until I felt it tightening back up again. I was very conscious to constantly keep it tight. While I was standing, I'd do a lot as well. I remember one day it started getting a little painful because I was doing it too much. All in all, I did 100 within 5 or 10 minutes, then another 100 or so, but spread out throughout the day. To be sure I'd suggest anyone should do reps until they feel the tightness, then an hour later, retighten it until you don't have to.
2) My anus tightness issues resolved actually very quickly. It was almost immediate. I remember doing a set of kegels for the first time before bed and it felt like my anus started having a normal tightness again. The next morning I felt a nice difference. But I say it was three days before it was fully normal and tight again. And then seven days when I was absolutely sure. After my problems resolved it's like I barely had to do them anymore, which is strange. I do a set of 25 maybe once a week cause I barely need it.
3) I was a huge dairy lover before my discovery of it causing my FBO. I started having FBO and acne problems from dairy, just out of the blue. It wasn't like that before but I guess as you get older your body becomes less compatible with certain foods. I found that milk was the biggest culprit by far, when it came to making my poop smelling like a sewer and filling up a room. Other dairy products like cheese, yogurt, butter, and foods with traces of dairy had very much less of an effect on smell. I don't really know why.
Before I discovered my dairy problem, I ate huge amounts of it. I'm talking pizza, mozzarella sticks, and glasses of milk often. Since then I have stopped drinking milk, from one to three glasses a day to none(but I still eat it in alfredo pasta or baked goods). I don't use butter in my cooking. I substitute any milk with almond milk, which is vegan. I can have cream cheese, cheese, or pretty much any dairy product besides milk without it inducing a sewery smell. Even though I can, I just don't because it will still give me cystic acne. (I take antibiotics called minocycline from my dermatologist though, so my skin is very clear now.)
Sorry for the long post haha. Just wanted to be clear.
hi... can u help me ?? btw my story is i shave my anus hair and buttcrack hair now when i fart or poop my anus sweat.. and sometimes it smell like poop when i only using tissue... althou some of my butthair came back butt still when i hold my poop my buttcrack to anus sweat so much and it so smelly plss help if u know how to cure it.. i want to go back to my college degree... and i poop 3 times a day...
Maybe you should talk to a therapist or something. I had to be put on medication for my paranoia but I don't think you have to go that route. I do think a therapist would help you sort through the thoughts and get you back to some sort or normalcy.
I think the anxiety and paranoia post-cure faded over time. There was nothing I could really do except reassure myself. I knew I was cured and the comments and reactions stopped altogether, so there wasn't much to be worried about. Sometimes I'd write down quotes and stuff that I'd remember throughout the day. Like anxiety and paranoia can be worsened by your own thoughts and you must tell your brain to stop sending itself anxiety signals. Or I would sneak away and close my eyes (and lay down if I could) for a few minutes to meditate and gather my thoughts, which I highly recommend. After those few minutes, I'd come out into the world with worries seeming so much smaller and feeling very calm, with a new clarity of a situation. Once you get good at meditation, that place of calmness gets much easier to reach. You can go from needing ten minutes, to five, to one minute, and then 20 seconds.
I went to a family doctor and she prescribed me a tiny amount of xanax to help me get through work for a few days (I was out of school by then). It sort of taught me how an anxiety-free, paranoia-free person feels and thinks, or at least how I imagined. Before, my thoughts would echo a lot in my head and I'd be too conscious and in my head, but with xanax I kind of learned a new skill to stop the echoing and just calm down. I've only taken it like three times because it's a controversial and addictive drug, if you take it too much consecutively. I haven't ever gone back to it though. I don't wanna depend on drugs or do them.
I work as a pizza delivery driver and deliver to strangers and interact with people at the restaurant a lot. So that definitely helped me out of my social anxiety comfort zone once I cured myself. In customer service you have to learn composure, and once you have that down, you kind of start to believe you're composed and calm and friendly.
So yeah: meditation, a short stint with xanax, and my job helped me regain my non-anxiousness. The paranoia and anxiety was intertwined so they both got better as I worked on either. Going through that mental journey will help you grow a lot but it takes time. Always remind yourself of logic: If no one has said any "stinky" comment in so long, then there is nothing to worry about. Even further, for big crowds, I find it easier if you're not at a social gathering. Try being by yourself or with people you trust, go eat at a busy restaurant, or a recreational area, or a fair, or a gym or anywhere crowded where you can be anonymous. It'll be uncomfortable at first but having confirmation that no stranger reacts is very reassuring. And then move up to social gatherings and higher pressure situations and eventually your paranoia and anxiety tolerance will heighten.
it's awesome to hear you used kegels as you cure! I have a feeling myself that i had problems in that area as well, feeling like the anus isn't as tight as before.. I think the enemas i used to do did some damage but it's mostly the stress that weakens it for some reason...
I had a big stress back in 2009 at this job and thats when the odor happened...
I have a question regarding the sphincter muscles. how did you notice it lost its tightness? i know we have 2 sphincter muscles the first (or i should say, the first one inside holding you from incontinence) is holding your stools in place from escaping. This muscle has to be always tight. but now the second one is the one that confuses me is that one supposed to be somewhat tight? because when i do a kegel i can feel it closing and it seems like the sphincter "ring' muscle is at least 3/4 inch open. what are your thoughts on this?
Yeah my bo problem started when I was in a period of big stress too.
I started noticing when my anus sometimes felt like it was relaxing, as if I was about to have a bowel movement. Smells and leaking could escape because of the looseness, but in normal people it's sealed shut.
I think both sphincter rings are supposed to be tight and the 3/4 is pretty normal but you need to try kegels to see if that's normal for you. Be aware of any redness or itching cause that could indicate leaking. Once you diligently do kegels, you'll see just how tight it can really be, how much better if feels (lol), and you might just say to yourself "okay so this is what it could normally feel like".
You can compare that to how people don't stick out their stomach while walking around; everyone naturally, without noticing, has their core engaged and they don't on purpose TRY to protrude their stomach . Don't know if that makes sense.
If you try kegels make sure you try different durations your are holding the squeezes, and also different intensity and deepness of the squeezes.
Really good advice undercovah. I've used some of the things you speak of as well. The more you;re in it the better the anxiety gets. It takes time but you'll get there.
Some people need medication others don't but just doing it is the only way. You'll see you get no reactions and you'll start to feel more comfortable and will want to do more. Take it one step at a time. Slowly moving up to bigger things.
I've been reading a book about meditation for a little while now, it seems like it's the perfect technique for my situation.
Every-time I take public transport/am in a crowded space I take loads of deep breaths and I never freak out, but in the end I always can't wait to leave and only feel TRULY relaxed when I'm off the transport.
Recently I've been thinking that getting prescribed Xanax or Valium will be the only way for me to live care free like I did a year ago but I'm scared of addiction, I don't wanna overdose...
So you took it 3 times and after that, never felt an urge to pop some more?
My favorite method of meditation is going to that place of calmness as if you're about to lay in bed and sleep. I try to tap into that feeling by closing my eyes, making sure I have no thoughts at all (just imagine black and pay attention to breath), and just relaxing.
And you can google xanax addiction and withdrawal and see some horror stories.. But nah I didn't really need xanax anymore cause I'm naturally sort of calm so there wasn't much of a point. For me, xanax is kind of like a faux calmness, as if you're a zombie with no emotions and it's almost as if you're living in a dream haha. Not trying to knock it though. It's a great powerful drug for people that need it. If I took it now, it 99% of the time wouldn't be necessary and more for recreation. And I've never been interested in recreational drugs.
If you haven't already, you can try marijuana... It has different effects for every individual and I've never tried it, but my friends have told me it improves your mood. I know very little though. But some come in brownies! Haha.
Did you get gassy when you started this because im trying it now and how long did it take before odor was gone ive been doing this for a week i love dairy but won't eat now unless its cooked into something i hope that's ok
hi i how your still can message back ...

ok so I have the same type of problem I think. I am working on kegal exercises but I don't know if I am making progress. how long did you do them for before you felt you didn't smell anymore? I already don't eat dairy.
Starting my first fast and plan to go 5 days. I have a very unhealthy relationship with food and tend to go towards it to fulfill emotions rather than to fulfill nutritional needs. This has caused me to destroy my digestive system over time as i suffer from chronic constipation (small hard stools every other day). I also happen to suffer from skin conditions such as cysts, acne, and facial/scalp dandruff. I am 100% confident that fasting will cure me of these ailments
I will be eating mostly fruit after my fast and avoiding processed junk at all costs.
I will be doing the simple grapefruit and olive oil liver flush.
Also I took 3 TBSP of mineral oil in pasteurized orange juice yesterday and I believe my constipation has ended after eliminating hard stools 3 times today.
Today I drank 1 liter of fresh unpasteurized pineapple, spinach, kale, and orange juice mixture. Havne't been feeling hungry at all. Having cravings for junk foods and dairy all day expecially when bored/sad.
What works for many constipated people is total elimination of all grains, all milk products, all fried foods, all foods with Sugar added, all industrially processed foods like foods with additives, and basing diet 100% on raw vegetable, raw fruits and berries, raw fish, raw nuts, some cooked beans.
Just because it works for majority, it may not be enough for you, but if you haven't tried it, it is something to try.
Water enema can help with acute constipation, to evacuate whatever hard matter is inside colon.
Do not attempt water enema daily ... you may get addicted, and you may need it the rest of your life to evacuate bowel.
Far better is to change and normalize intestinal flora by changing your diet ... as it is the intestinal flora that is the main key to preventing constipation, and also clean liver.
Learn about the Liver Flush and start flushing your liver.
Going water fasting with constipated colon may result in autointoxication ... and serious worsening of all of your symptoms, and total failure of your water fast.
At best, your water fasting experience will be a negative experience.
Fruit, berry and nut smoothies are a great way to keep your bowel soft and moving every day.
Walking or running several km per day is also a great way to keep your bowel soft and moving every day.
Also fasting on fruits, berries and nuts is a great way to prepare for a real water fasting, once you are actually ready for it.
People have ended up in hospital attempting water fast with constipated bowel.
Autointoxication caused by constipation can cause serious health problems, sudden loss of blood pressure, fainting, strong headaches, feeling extremely weak and sick, feeling so sick that you wish you were dead.
You don't want that. Every year someone dies attempting long water fast with poor functioning bowel and poor liver. This is of course the worse possible outcome, and very unlikely .... but why taking any risks ?
Few spoons of magnesium sulfate (epsom salt) dissolved in water can fix acute constipation.
Again, not something to take daily, as it may make you addicted to.
